The entire process has become so incredibly depressing. From overlooking potential candidates to overlooking real candidates to overemphasizing pseudo candidates. Worse is they all seem to think its OK to take the truth, modify words to suit their agenda, then promote those words as an attack against an opponent. Oh, I know that is typical politics. I know that is how people win office. I know politicians are famous for word play. The real problem is, we are all focusing on what the candidates want us to hear & we are not holding them responsible for the process they have corrupted beyond belief! The politicians say they are giving us what we want. They say, if the public did not want this they would say so.

"Well, 'I' say so right now!" This is NOT what I want from those who will be elected to represent me as my government official for this nation.

Lies, distortions, half-truths, deceptions, deflections of facts, all represent what I do NOT want in a politician. Those are what has this nation in the fine mess its in!

Reagan was right that attacking members of your own party, as is being done right now, will only serve to push the electorate away from you to the other party. Hence so many independents are willing to vote for liberal socialist Democrats than they are conservative Republicans. The people see our members attacking each others character, each others honesty, and the public sees the Kumbya going on with the Democrats. The public chooses those who look like they are at peace. Now most of us understand that the peace they represent means we give up our individual freedoms. But many in the populace do not truly understand that. They think things will just go on as they have been. It appears they are asleep at the wheel.

If McCain is the party nominee, I will hold my nose & vote for him. However, if he is the nominee, the media & Democrat party will totally eviscerate him in the debates, newspapers, and everywhere else. He is not capable of holding up to debate with either Hillary or with Obama. In short, we will have a "consensus" Republican party candidate, brought on by independents forcing one down our throats, who is unelectable, and who really represents the left, or seriously liberal Republicans. McCain represents "the old guard," and Democrats will use that to destroy him. He will be made the fool by them. And by association, so too will Republicans. Even though Republicans really represent Americans more than any other party or position. McCain is not a centrist. He is not a moderate. He is, a Republican who has facilitated the redefinition of the center by Democrats and the media, but which is really something seriously left of center. Conservatives were branded as extremists by the extreme left wing by them redefining what is the center. Its how some on the extreme left came to call Christians, Christofacists, and get away with it. Christians were never a threat to the left, except that they would not give in to leftist demands we turn extremely left!

In truth, McCain will lose to the Democrats in a national election. This is exactly why the New York Times & other liberal biased elite media, social elites, academic elites, & international elites, have endorsed him. They approve of his "center" attitude. So even if Hillary or Obama were to lose by some miracle, liberals would still get what they want, as usual!

The War Between the States was fought for more than slavery. In fact, if one looks deeply into the causes of the war, they would find the real issues for the South were, "states rights." We fight this same fight today. And those who are "electable" are not in favor of states rights. They want the federal government to run everything from one central location & to be able to impose its will on all, despite objections.

The point is, in my not so humble opinion, McCain is one of "them," not one of "us." He thinks a worldview globalist position is best. And for "him" it is. But for average Americans the globalist view that will be imposed on them, will mean they will suffer enormously at the hands of those who will exert federal power over our everyday lives. It means those in power, the socialists, will be able to dictate just as the despots of gwat third world nations do today. The only way the socialists & despots could have defeated America was to have done so from within. Their victory appears near.

Once twenty million socialist educated third world aliens become citizens of America & obtain the world's gold standard of freedom, the right to vote here, they will destroy virtually all of the freedoms that drew them here in the first place. And McCain is not in favor of building even build a simple fence! I suppose the profits he obtains from the between gates transactions, is so much, he cannot afford to let the fence go up!

HELP STOP RINO JOHN MCCAIN!!
A vote for RINO (Republican In Name Only) John McCain is a vote for the following:
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: he wrote the bill granting amnesty to illegal immigrants (co-sponsored by Ted Kennedy).
SOCIAL SECURITY: he voted to give your social security money to illegal immigrants.
TAXES: he voted against the Bush tax cuts multiple times (he has since flip-flopped and has campaigned as a lifelong tax-cutter).
RHETORIC: he routinely engages in Democratic class warfare against big companies in America, particularly the “evil” drug companies who research cures to debilitating diseases for a profit.
ECONOMY: as recently as December 2007 he admitted “he does not know the economy very well” and needed to get better at it.
1ST AMENDMENT: he wrote the McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill that was declared to be an unconstitutional infringement of the 1st Amendment (co-sponsored by ultra-liberal Democrat Russ Feingold).
2ND AMENDMENT: he was called the “worst 2nd amendment candidate” by the president of the NRA.
ENERGY TAX: wrote a bill (co-sponsored by his buddy Lieberman) imposing a massive tax on energy which, according to the Department of Energy, would drastically raise the price of gasoline and put 300,000 Americans out of work.
GLOBAL WARMING: supports radical global warming legislation which involved him voting with every Democrat; think only America is responsible to take action, not other superpowers.
JUDGES: he joined forces with Democrats (Gang of 14) to block the Senate Republican’s attempt to confirm conservative, strict constructionist judges; also said Alito was too conservative for his liking.
WAR ON TERROR: fought with Hillary Clinton to demand that terrorists be given a full AMERICAN trial.

The power of the internet is incredible...use it! Email ANY and EVERYONE you know who will be voting on Tuesday and let them know just how disasterous it would be to vote for McCain. Educate them as to why and turn them on to Mitt Romney. I've met him on several occasions and was at the MA Rep. convention when we nominated him for Governor there.

Put some links in your emails to this GREAT ad from Citizen's United: http://media.citizensunited.org/Surprisingly.htm. It's a killer for McCain.
Tell them to get on the Romney bandwagon and help the guy out at: http://www.mittromney.com.
Besides emails, you can make phone calls AND write/submit letters to editors online and at major metropolitan newspapers http://www.newslink.org/news.html around the country.

McCain,Obama,Clinton,Huckabee wow are all supporters of these Illegals!! I will not vote for any of them on that alone!! I really like Ron Paul and it is unfortunate that the Media gives him no air time or credit!! I was very upset that even CNN's Anderson Cooper the other night at the debate barely asked Ron Paul any questions!! It was mainly Romney and McCain!! Ron Paul is against any help for these Illegals!! Romney I don't know because I feel I can not believe him? This is a VERY BIG ISSUE FOR ME!!! ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION And what these Candidates are going to do about it!! It really is a simple Solution.. Like Mice like Cheese and are drawn to it, well take away the Cheese and they leave and go else where, right, well with these Illegals take away the Jobs and they WILL LEAVE!! I don't care what these Politicians say.. These Politicans for some reason are supporting these Illegals I don't know why but it really is hurting the American Workers.. I don't want to hear another Politican try to convince me that they are doing work Americans don't want to do, its bull!! We do not want to work at the wages that those Employers are paying these Illegals. The Employers are Exploiting them, And the Employers know if they could get away with paying out less and getting work they will..... Mad Mad

I am sicken everytime I hear their stand on illegal immigration. If Mexico and Juan Hernandez did this to any other Latin American Country - - a state of war would exist already with Mexico. What are these liberals thinking? Wake up America and start taking back our country !!! I only wish more conservative Latino Americans like myself start speaking out against Juan Hernandez, and put him in his place .... Hang in there America, we'll win this fight !!![/quote]

McCain Winning Over Some Conservatives, But Not Coulter
Posted by Brian Montopoli| Comments89

Horserace has been keeping a close eye on the relationship between John McCain and the two vocal groups on the right largely opposed to his candidacy – establishment conservatives and right-wing talk show hosts. Today brings mixed news for McCain on that front.

The New York Times reports that some of McCain's conservative critics – among them Christian conservative Tony Perkins, the Southern Baptist Convention's Richard Land, and antitax crusader Grover Norquist -- are warming to the senator.

“When I hear Rush Limbaugh say that a McCain nomination would destroy the Republican Party,” the Times quotes Land saying, “what I want to say to Rush is, ‘You need to get out of the studio more and talk to real people.’”

McCain consistently casts himself as a conservative, but his past positions on campaign finance reform, the Bush tax cuts, immigration, and other issues have angered some on the right. He is trying to repair the rift, having committed to speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, an important gathering for movement conservatives that he skipped last year, next week.

But there are still plenty of conservatives, particularly in the talk show-host ranks, who have not exactly embraced a McCain candidacy. Radio host Laura Ingraham and former Sen. Rick Santorum today backed Mitt Romney, and on Fox News yesterday, controversial right-wing pundit Ann Coulter vowed that if John McCain and Hillary Clinton are the two parties' presidential nominees, she'll be campaigning for the Democrat.

"If he's our candidate, then Hillary's going to be our girl, Sean, 'cause she's more conservative than he is," Coulter told Fox News host Sean Hannity. "I think she would be stronger on the war on terrorism."

"I would trust any Republican but John McCain more than Hillary Clinton," she added. "If it's John McCain, Hillary is absolutely more conservative."

Video here.

Am sending for the first time to my 300 email list (knowing some of them will more than likely block me, lol), since I have just begun here (in all seriousness) in the last few weeks and I will not stop until this weekend until every radio station has received the letter from Mr. Gheen's post, from me either. Another thing, I can get all 3800 newspaper email address'es that are online, am also wondering if I did this would several be interested here in splitting them with me (just the email addresses, not the monies) and every time sending our activist messages also or does ALIPAC have these addresses already and I do not know about them. Just let me know!!!

If we send articles to states such as California, New York, (also in Arizona, McCain's homestate having millions of Hispanic Illegal and Legal Voters and also in New Mexico, it would be a smart move and a good choice to begin with these states getting the word out to the voters.

I have already finished sending material/articles to newspapers/media/radio/TV to the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Idaho, Illinois, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Alaska. (14 States)

I have just started on Hawaii.

I have not sent anything to California (have been informed by an ALIPAC member at this moment working on the media in CALIFORNIA).

I have not started sending yet to New York, Arizona, New Mexico, Massachuetts, Conneticutt, New Jersey, Delaware, or American Samoa, yet!!! (9 States) <<<Start in the order I have them if you wish too. Also, it would be good if anyone before Super Tuesday could send more information/articles to the State of Georgia because at the moment it is leaning towards McCain in first place and Huckabee in second place with Romney in third and Georgia has the 3rd highest delegate count on Super Tuesday...

______________________________________________________________________________________

It does not look good for Mitt on Super Tuesday in the following states: California, New York, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia (All Possible McCain States At The Moment).
OR
Tennessee (where I live and will be split between McCain/Huckabee, but a very highly Huckabee State).
OR
Alabama (Huckabee State at the moment), but McCain could take it.
OR
Georgia (a very highly McCain State).
OR
Hawaii, no doubt about this, is a McCain State.

Arkansasians (Huckabee's own state), is telling the Media they will go against him and is split between McCain or Romney, so when this happens Huckabee will finally drop out. Could use more help here also.

Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Illinois are for sure Romney States.

Alaska, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Kansas are very highly possible Romney States.

Oklahoma, Missouri, Massachuetts (Romney's Home State), Conneticutt, New Jersey, and Delaware could go either Romney or McCain, but more than likely all McCain States except for Massachuetts.

Folks!!! We only have 2 more days to get the word out before SUPER TUESDAY.!!!

Below are 2 links to the news media in all states:

Still using that tired old Bear Stearns estimate from three years ago, William?

At least that is nearer the truth than the Pew Hispanic Research Center estimate from 2004, commonly accepted by the sheeple.

Mark my words, and write it down:
if amnesty happens, there will be not 20 million, but closer to 35 million illegal aliens legitimized.

Each day I listen to news reports from across the nation, even world. I am amazed that the media give McCain a pass on his flip-flops while focusing on those of others. Additionally, when I listen to why some candidates made their changes, when, and why, it becomes actually reasonable that they did. They had an attack of conscience. If after deliberation & life changing experiences one changes their position on an issue, I look at what made them do it. Romney was not pro-life early on. However, he did not appear to be strongly pro-choice either. But even if so, he has provided a super reason why his mind changed. He did not deny his previous position, he explained why he changed it. That is character in my not so humble opinion. McCain still provides no reasonable explanation why he's become a fence lover & against amnesty, other than, "if they want the G-D fence, I'll build it." To me that means he'll change his position to get elected, not for any reason of character.
The media have not let up on other candidates, & especially Romney, on issues. But they give McCain a pass. Why?
The answers are obvious to me. McCain is easily beatable by Obama or Hillary. The very issues they have given him passes on now, can be used to destroy him when we have the national debates & elections. He has provided the fodder for them to make a fool of him & by association, conservative Republicans.
Even if he were by some miracle to win the election for president, the media & others know McCain can be counted on to act conservative while backing liberal positions on a number of issues critical to conservatives. Not juts one issue, but a number of issues. In short, he's a Rino.
The "moderate" McCain, is really an ultra liberal Republican. One we describe as a closet liberal Democrat. He actually considered and was considered to be a running mate to a Democrat. How many "real" Republicans would have even been mentioned? Lieberman is a moderate. BUT, he is a moderate Democrat & all know it. His middle of the road, is not conservative enough for me, but at least he's out in the open about who & what he is. McCain is playing around & the media are helping him.... at this time. Wait til he runs against Hillary or Obama!
Amnesty without serious border enforcement & serious interior enforcement, along with serious prosecutions of employers, means we will get more of the same from a president that claims he wants to secure the borders. You can bet the fence that goes up will be less stable than the one that divides your back yard from your neighbors yard. Money will dry up for the really serious immigration enforcement issues, while amnesty will move ahead full tilt!
One day, many Americans will regret the positions they have taken on these critical issues. By then, it may be too late though!

Wake up America. USE the 'write in' option on your ballot. But, for God's sake, you have got to vote. We do not have to settle for a candidate. We do need to get rid of the Electorate which can and will overturn the will of the people. PLEASE do not use this as a reason for not voting. We have got to take this country back. There has never been a better time in the history of this country for a third party rule. NOONE can call this race. God bless America!

It isn't 12, 15, 20 million illegals. With chain migration each illegal represents 200 plus. Not a single elected official passed their math test; the only figures they recognize are hour-glass shapes. If you think this country is getting crowded, think again! 12 million at the rate of 200 per head equals 2 billion. And that is conservative. Make a difference. SPREAD THE WORD.

PS - This figure exceeded 200 by studies that have been done. I will not quote the source but the source is reputable.

PSS - Don't you wonder what our elected officials are gaining from this illegal mess?

Executive Order Targets Illegal Immigrants

Thursday, Mar 27, 2008 - 01:04 PM Updated: 08:37 PM

PROVIDENCE - Gov. Don Carcieri signed an executive order Thursday requiring state police and prison officials to identify immigration violators in state custody and report them to federal authorities for possible deportation.

His order also forces the state to verify the immigration status of its own workers, as well as the workers of any company that does business with the state. Carcieri said he supported legislation that would force all companies in Rhode Island to do the same.

The Republican governor said he understands that illegal immigrants face hardships - but he does not want them in Rhode Island.

"If you're here illegally, you shouldn't be here illegally. You shouldn't be here," Carcieri said.

Carcieri's popularity has plummeted in recent months as Rhode Island faces an estimated $550 million budget deficit, its worst financial crisis since a series of bank and credit union collapses in the early 1990s. He has proposed cutting school funding, reducing welfare and health care benefits and even letting prisoners out of jail early.

During a news conference, Carcieri linked both issues, saying illegal immigrants put financial strains on local school districts and stress state hospitals.

Under his order, state police will enter an agreement with federal immigration authorities permitting them access to specialized immigration databases. That information would allow police to identify and detain immigration violators.

State police could investigate the legal status of anyone they suspect is an immigration violator, including crime victims, witnesses and people supplying police with confidential tips, state police Maj. Steven O'Donnell said.

Department of Corrections Director A.T. Wall said the prison system will negotiate a similar agreement so it too can identify illegal immigrants in state custody as well as legal immigrants who are subject to deportation if convicted of crimes.

Carcieri said he did not know how much his initiatives would cost, although he assumed they would save money in the long run. Right now, Rhode Island has eliminated so many clerks to save money that it cannot pay its bills on time.

Immigrant advocate Juan Garcia feared Carcieri's proposals would drive a vulnerable community underground. He said illegal immigrants who are victims of crime will fear approaching police, and that children could suffer if parents lose their jobs.

"These people are not criminals," he said. "This is affecting the poor people."
Carcieri has already proposed cutting immigrant children, legal and illegal, from a state-subsidized health care plan. He has also drawn fire from some immigrants' rights groups for cutting translators from the state payroll.

Rhode Island lawmakers have introduced a slew of bills this year dealing with illegal immigration, but Carcieri said he did not know whether he would support them.

One would make it a crime for state workers to issue state ID cards or other documents to illegal immigrants; kick illegal immigrants off public assistance programs; make it illegal to transport or harbor illegal immigrants; and deny illegal immigrants college loans.
