You take my house when you do take the prop That doth sustain my house; you take my life When you do take the means whereby I live.- William Shakespeare -The Merchant of Venice. Act iv. Sc. 1.
Across America a terrible story unfolds trapping honest and hard working Americans between the proverbial rock and a hard space. It is a story that I have gleaned from conversations with those directly impacted. It is a story I have learned from reading between the lines in the print media.
Many of America's print media publications are now facing well deserved financial extinction due to their penchant for bias, censorship, and promotions of unpopular political positions, rather than reporting facts. No issue illustrates their heavy bias more than illegal immigration.
American readers are bombarded on a daily basis with the latest illegal alien sob stories about how illegal aliens are getting laid off, being profiled, discriminated against, or finding it harder to get licenses and government benefits from mean and hateful Americans, while the most important part of the story is conspicuously absent!
The Americans who are falling down in historic numbers are not in these articles or publications!
The propagandists at the newspapers should take heed, when I remind them of two important things. One, people read the news to learn the facts and not the asserted political positions of the paper. Two, readers look for characters in articles, as well as in movies and books, who they can identify with.
Americans are losing their wages, jobs, homes, health, and sanity in numbers unprecedented since the Great Depression, yet you will not hear their trials and troubles in your elitist newspapers. And if you do get a glimpse of the horror of your neighbors and fellow countrymen, you will most certainly never hear of what I will speak of next.
You will not hear about how illegal immigration is trapping Americans in a vise which is leading to the destruction of their lives.
I hope no one in America needs a lecture on how horrible losing your job can be when there are no other jobs available and that not being able to provide health insurance or even food for your children is a life threatening situation. Marching your belongings and loved ones out of your house in front of a Sheriff's deputy is a story Americans are living out in larger numbers daily.
Many studies tell us that American workers work harder, longer, and more productively than many others on the planet. We are known for getting the job done and done well. Before the recent political invention of "jobs Americans won't do" we got the houses built, the landscapes tended, the chickens plucked, and the bathrooms cleaned without 15 million illegal aliens in the country.
Here is the scenario and perspective you will not find in your newspaper that must be told to the nation.
It has long been a tradition in America for wage earners to take a menial job or an extra job, when times got tough for their individual families, a region, or during a national economic downturn.
If your husband was injured, the wife would take on an extra job waiting tables or as a cashier. If you lost your job, you would seek another one no matter what it was, as long as it would help you keep food on the table and a roof over you and your family's head.
In 2009, when you go to look for a new job of any kind you will find that many jobs are not even listed in the Want Ads because those jobs are filled with illegal aliens and a surplus of legal immigrants. The employers have no desire to spend money on newspaper ads, if they have an opening they just tell the foreman, ask their existing workers, or in some cases call up the drug and human importing cartels in Mexico to order a new shipment of illegal aliens workers, as was the case with Tyson Foods here in North Carolina.
So American workers are not even finding notices for many jobs in construction, landscaping, hospitality and food industries, agriculture, meat processing, textiles, raw materials production, etc...
And even if you do approach one of these employers, you may find yourself in the position that many ALIPAC supporters have reported.
The employers of illegal aliens and H2B visa immigrants do not want Americans in the mix. There is rampant discrimination against America workers because they do not speak Spanish, are more concerned about worker health and safety laws, and might contact Immigration and Customs Enforcement to report illegal workers and visa fraud.
Even if you did go out on your own to find the non-advertised menial jobs, and you made it past the discrimination factors, you still have two major hurdles.
One, multiple studies have documented the common sense knowledge that illegal immigration greatly depreciates wages for American workers and legal immigrants. As far back as 1968, the renowned labor leader Cesar Chavez patrolled the border and ordered his union to call Federal authorities to try and stop illegal immigration. Wages have been significantly depressed due to the intentional hyper inflation of the labor markets.
If you are a full tax paying and debt carrying American, many of these jobs now offer wages that are insufficient for you to even make ends meet!
But illegal aliens are not just in the menial jobs or unskilled labor sector of our economy. We have seen countless news reports over the last few years documenting illegal aliens working on commercial jet engines, or in nuclear power plants, or the technical fields?
With the almost minimal enforcement levels of our existing immigration laws, illegal aliens are working in jobs across the spectrum!
Anyone seeking a job in a call center or the Information Technology fields will find many of those jobs have been sent offshore to India. As for the jobs which remain here at home with Google, IBM, Microsoft, and many others, the positions are taken and being filled with H1B visa holders from India and China.
Our immigration laws should state that an H1B visa worker can only be used, if an American worker cannot be found for the position and if the immigrant will be paid the same as an American worker would. Unfortunately, these considerations are not required many Global companies are intentionally throwing out their American workers and replacing them with foreign labor that will work for much less!
And if you go out in search of an American small business that plays by the rules and respects our laws, you will find fewer and fewer of them. Honest employers who hire Americans and legal immigrants have found themselves unable to compete with the low bids of less scrupulous competitors who hire illegal aliens. You won't hear their voices in this barage of biased articles either!
Only through the valiant efforts of talk radio show hosts and brave men and women like Glen Beck, Lou Dobbs, and Michelle Malkin will you hear these voices represented in the media. And each of them faces the same threat of smears and lies from the ideology fascists for speaking out for the innocent American workers and millions of victims of illegal immigration, corporate greed, and political corruption in our nation.
So American workers are facing what I call "The Great American Replacement Act" where Americans are being replaced in jobs, homes, schools, colleges, and at the ballot box through rampant illegal immigration combined with historically high levels of new worker visas being issued.
To ad further insult to injury, the illegal alien Amnesty supporting groups and politicians are now trying to claim that even though 11 Million Americans are out of work, we need Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty right away for the approximately 7 million illegal aliens, which are currently holding jobs that our existing laws mandate are illegal for them to have in the first place!
How can so many politicians and people in the media ignore and neglect innocent Americans who are suffering and having their lives ruined? The dire consequences for Americans due to the bad economy combined with rampant illegal immigration are horrific. The fact that their stories are not told and their voices are censored by the print media is even more horrifying.
For things to improve for Americans, we need our existing immigration laws, and all workplace and financial regulatory laws fully enforced. Those left in the media with a soul need to illuminate these problems and side with the American public before it is too late.
We need to know how much the influence the billions of dollars in perks, contributions, and payoffs coming into Washington, DC (See Bill and Hillary Clinton) from Global corporations and countries hostile to the United States like Saudi Arabia and China are responsible for these dastardly, illegal, and unconstitutional policies.
The American public is no longer in control of our national destiny. We are no longer self governed or secure. We are not being asked for our support, we are being told we will suffer in silence or face aggressive ridicule. We are being dictated to by politicians who's pockets are lined with the gold of powerful bankers and foreign nations.
We are now entering an even more dangerous phase where many Americans are losing all faith in the political process. There is dangerous talk in private conversations, and many are saying "America has already been conquered without a shot fired."
Perhaps America's most powerful enemies have discovered how to take us with a Trojan horse? No adversary would want to take us on militarily or do anything to awaken the ire of the American populace. Our own politicians, bureaucrats, and Wall Street leaders have already deeply wounded this nation more than Osama Bin Laden's attacks on 9/11.
Perhaps they have moved on America's Achilles heal of greed and corruption to incrementally reduce the American populace to such a desperate level surrounded by financially empowered subservient foreign workers that we cannot defend ourselves.
If this is the case and if these atrocities are not corrected soon by political means, may God help us endure, survive, or prevail against whatever our evil conquerors have planned for us next. _________________ Vox populi vox Dei

Excellent post.
Want to see what's coming down the pike for us? Look what's happening in England with their unfettered immigration without assimilation. Take a look at what their own government has done to them to the ire of their citizens.
HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS THE COMPANY I WORKED FOR CLOSED THE DOORS IN 2007. I HAVE APPLIED EVERYWHERE & CAN'T FIND A JOB BECAUSE I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH. LAST WEEK THE HELP WANTED ADS IN THE NEWSPAPER HELD 2 JOBS, YES, THAT'S 2. WE ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. WE'RE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO WORK IN OUR OWN COUNTRY. ALL GUEST WORKER PROGRAMS SHOULD BE STOPPED. 808,000 VISAS WERE GIVEN IN 2007. HOW CAN THIS SO-CALLED CONGRESS JUSTIFY THIS??? I'M MAD AS HELL & I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE TOO MUCH MORE OF THIS!! [/b]
AMERICANS NEED TO CALL, WRITE, OR E-MAIL THEIR CONGRESSMEN, GOVERNORS, SENATORS, & THIS NEW PRESIDENT WHO INTENDS ON HAVING OPEN BORDERS AT A TIME WHEN OVER 10 MILLION AMERICANS ARE OUT OF WORK. WE'RE BEING DICRIMINATED AGAINST WITH HELP FROM THOSE WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO REPRESENT & PROTECT US. SHAME ON THEM!!!!
THANX LONE-PATRIOT! I SWORE I WOULDN'T FIGHT FOR ANYMORE CAUSES ONCE BARRY SOETORO CHUMPED AMERICANS & WAS ALLEGEDLY VOTED IN BUT, BEING TOTALLY UNEMPLYED FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS IS BEGINNING TO PISS ME OFF. KNOWING THE ILLEGALS NEXT DOOR ALL HAVE JOBS REALLY MAKES MATTERS WORSE!! grrrrrrrrrr!!
We have been moving in the direction of Socialism for some time now. Our education system is where it begins. Think back to where it all began in Russia, China, Cuba. Marx & Engels, Mao, Castro were all educated men, not illiterate unskilled peasants. "Redistribution of wealth" & "From each according to his ability & to each according to his needs"was their slogan. Who decides this? They also used govt. corruption & indifference of the upper classes to rally the masses. We have instructors in our colleges & univ., such as Ward Churchill, Wm. Ayers to name a few, who preach the Socialist/Communist doctrine. The part they leave out is how these "Utopean" govts. are not delivering the promise. Revisionist History is another element in this paradigm for perfection. These Historians don't like the record of an event, therefore they rewrite it to suit their own idea of how it should have been. Look through some highschool textbooks, especially at various movements, wars & social injustices. I lived through some of them & they didn't happen the way the book says they did. Again, the next generation is being brainwashed to take their place in this "Brave New World." We were the model for the world to envy. Now we are being invaded by unskilled, uneducated people who believe we owe them the fruits of OUR labor! We have a rich & unique history & we should be proud of it, not apologize for it! Don't wave any flag in my face, unless it is The American Flag! There are men & women fighting for only one flag in this country, not the UN or NAU, but OLD GLORY. I do some volunteering at my local VA hispital & those vets are not into PC.

you know what V****V you and your supporters. america wouldnt be what it is without immigrants doing the work you fat lazy americans refuse to do. they are the backbone of our economy and will continue to be so. try fighting for meaningful things that actually make sense instead of immigration. put your fat ass in the shoes of these people and then maybe youll open your eyes a little more instead of opening them for a double cheeseburger. use your support funds and wasted time for cancer research or homeless shelters or education instead of something that you guys really dont know about. to mee its more of a racist rally than a supposed "fighting for american workers" one.

It is the same story coast to coast. My title company outsourced our jobs to India. I was in California and was not employable because I did not speak Spanish. This is wrong!!! It is racist and discriminatory to deprive natural born citizens gainful employment to accommodate criminal invaders. _________________ Proud American and wife of a wonderful <strong>LEGAL</strong> immigrant from Ireland.

The President
The Congress
The Senate
The State and
Local Governments
I want to know why nutty Americans either voted for this corruption, time and time again ... OR ... if the balloting is rigged as I have read so many times before
Why do you tolerate corruption America... are you not tired of it. Do you not see it... whats it going to take to get you off the couch and help us get rid of those that consider you worthless middle class
If it hasn't effected you yet, get ready... it will ...
So ... America... you don't want to put your politicians in line ... get ready for the ride of your life _________________ I'm a Conservative ~ "BOO" and According to Obama and Napolitano I am (AKA) the "Boogieman"

I support legal immigration. If you come over here the right way to become a citizen of The United States I’m okay with that. But when you just storm across our borders, you are an invader. Read 14 reasons why we need to get control of illegal immigration:
1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.
2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.
3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.
4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!
5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.
6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.
7. 30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.
8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for welfare social services by the American taxpayers.
9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that’s two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our southern border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from terrorist countries.
12. The National Policy Institute, “estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.”
13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.
14. “The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States.”
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reports that five million fraudulent home mortgages are in the hands of illegal aliens. As of right now, it is not known how many of these mortgages have contributed to the subprime mortgage meltdown.
But here’s some history to consider. We know for a fact that there are states out there, like California, that knowingly allow illegal immigrants to buy homes. Guess who you can thank for that aiding that little scheme? ACORN. Yes, ACORN, you know, Barack Obama’s community organizing committee. Take a look at this story from November of 2005. Here’s how it begins: “For many, it’s the American dream: owning a home. With the recent spike in housing costs, it’s become more difficult for many Valley families to qualify for a home loan. But some local banks are giving out loans, and they don’t even require a social security number.”
Amazing! No social security number was required! The article tells a story about David the illegal immigrant. When David, a criminal, wanted to get a home, who did he go to for help? ACORN. The article says, “The Valley non-profit group ACORN is helping people like David. They set him up with Citibank in Fresno, where a social security number is not required.”
Back in 2005, it was estimated that there were 250,000 illegal immigrants in the US who make enough money to be eligible for a home loan. Now HUD is estimating that there are 20 times that amount who currently have mortgages? Those 250,000 were estimated to be worth about $60 billion in potential mortgages. If there are 5 million illegal aliens currently holding fraudulent mortgages, imagine how many billions we are talking.

The EFCA (Employees Free Choice Act) (H.R. 800/S. 1041)
Elimination of Secret Ballot: This legislation mandates that a union be recognized if a majority of employees in a designated bargaining unit sign authorization cards. This is the provision from which the nickname for the bill, "card check," comes. If this provision is enacted, the current system where a federally supervised election process with secret ballots determines whether employees will have a union in their workplace would be effectively eliminated. The secret ballot ensures that neither the employer nor the union knows how someone votes. If the bill becomes law, no union would take their chance on an election when getting a few more signatures would guarantee them victory. In contrast to the secret ballot, the card check process would expose employees to a "free for all" environment where any tactic for getting a signature could be used. It has been well established through court cases, precedent under the National Labor Relations Act, and testimony on Capitol Hill of former union organizers that the card check process of obtaining signatures is routinely characterized by harassment, intimidation, and coercion, including employees being threatened in their homes and other locations away from the workplace.
Writing contracts through government imposed arbitration: The second provision would result in contracts being written by federal arbitrators instead of the process of collective bargaining and negotiating. Currently, after a union has been recognized, the parties bargain to a first contract where there are protections to make sure both sides negotiate in good faith. Under EFCA, if a first contract is not agreed to within 120 days (which is an extremely short time period for these negotiations) the matter would have to be submitted to binding interest arbitration and a contract developed by a panel with likely no understanding of the business, or the competitive forces it faces, would be imposed on the company for two years. This contract would cover precise details of how that business would operate for the duration of the contract such as the wages, benefits, ability to use employees most productively, and how many employees would be used for specific tasks. This process would virtually always result in a contract that is beyond what the employer is prepared to accept and provides a strong incentive for the union to undermine the collective bargaining process to ensure that the process lasts long enough to end in binding arbitration. Finally, this provision would result in employees losing a second vote since they would have no opportunity to ratify the contract as they currently have in most cases. In a recent poll of registered voters conducted by the Chamber, 75 percent of the respondents preferred a system that encourages good faith negotiations, while only 16 percent preferred a system where government arbitrators write the contract. While the card check provision has received most of the attention in the media, this provision is regarded as equally offensive to employers.
Unreasonable and one-sided penalty expansion: Finally, the Employee Free Choice Act imposes dramatic new penalties on employers for violations of the National Labor Relations Act, but not a single new penalty on unions or labor organizers. Under one provision of the new penalty structure, employers would be vulnerable to an injunction reinstating a dismissed employee if that employee, or the union seeking to represent him or her, merely alleges that the dismissal was because of union activity. Such a low threshold makes a mockery of traditional labor law due process.
The unions are salivating and the current elect administration are having wet dreams over this insidious piece of legislation. In essence, it will unionize 105 million disenfranchised workers, giving complete control of all companies and workers to the hands of the Democrats. This will be passed within the next 30 days, and the voting demographics in this country will be forever one-sided. There is NOTHING worse then this at the moment.
I am at a loss of how to get this out to world so everyone can just bombard their Congressmen and Senators, but for anyone reading this, please do so...and spread the word!
I don't typically relish receiving e-mails from ALIPAC all that much because I realize the content, even though nearly always completely truthful, is hazardous to my health and my sense of well being. I guess that I've resorted to a coping strategy of keeping my head partially buried in the sand in order to escape the reality of what is happening in and to my country and thereby avoiding the ensuing anger that always arises. But, this article was exceptionally well written in that it did such an excellent job of encompassing and solidifying so many of the causes as well as the effects of what we have seen unfolding that I wanted to say thank you for writing and sending it. The supporting and enlightening comments added here were appreciated too.
It's nice to see some enlightenment in the dark ages of anti-reason. Incidentally, as far as "Ernesto "Che" Guevara" is concerned, I didn't see anything in that note that either intelligently refuted anything in the article or rationally supported whatever point he was trying to bully across. I think one of the primary incentives for most of us "supporters" is to avoid putting more of us into the shoes of "these people" by preventing excessive immigration that causes ever lower wages and ever more scarce essential commodities -- like food. Why in the world would we want to put ourselves into shoes of desperation? (I doubt that my "fat ass" would fit in a shoe anyway.) Massive immigration is not the backbone of our economy; but it's rather what broke the back of the economy (in part) precisely because real wages for many were falling and costs for essentials were rising and that resulted in the beginning of the fall that was flamed by failing mandated/coerced mortgages that should never have existed. If the economy really needed massive numbers of imported workers, then why year after year of government easy money economic stimulus always with the justification of needing to create more jobs? Of course, our illegals will typically add more overhead to an economy than value contributed resulting in a net loss; although they do definitely contribute to fatter wallets for a select few who can make hefty political contributions. Promoting cancer research may be a worthwhile cause, but that doesn't diminish (and has nothing to do with) the real negative consequences of out of control and unenforced immigration policy. Oh well, I imagine that to Ernesto "Che" Guevara most everything is indeed a racist rally. I never did figure out what V****V meant, though.
OK, gang. I have totally had it with the illegal invaders. I mean ZERO tolerance. I can't believe an old hippie like myself has arrived at this. I am willing to donate (a little) money. Hey, I'm poor. What I do have, though, is plenty of time. I am not a leader, but I am not a follower either. Give me suggestions! I am ready to fight and I am looking for other central Floridians to join up with.
