Asked by CBS News' Katie Couric in an exclusive interview whether illegal immigrants should be covered under a new health care plan, President Obama responded simply, "no." But he said there may need to be an exception to that policy for children.
"First of all, I'd like to create a situation where we're dealing with illegal immigration, so that we don't have illegal immigrants," he said. "And we've got legal residents or citizens who are eligible for the plan. And I want a comprehensive immigration plan that creates a pathway to achieve that."
"The one exception that I think has to be discussed is how are we treating children," he continued. "Partly because if you've got children who may be here illegally but are still in playgrounds or at schools, and potentially are passing on illnesses and communicable diseases, that aren't getting vaccinated, that I think is a situation where you may have to make an exception."

he is lying if he think illegals wont keep getting free health care.
they already are responsible, in part, for almost 200 hospitals closing
or not offering certain procedures, and filing bankruptcy
course the govt. not paying them the monies they are deserved cuz of this, doesnt help alot either.

Translation: Pass health care reform and then make all illegal aliens eligible for newly passed health care reform by making them legal residents.
Giving illegal aliens free health care under the proposed Obama health care plan would mean certain death for the soon to come bill. There is no need for Obama to put his plan at risk by adding health care for illegals. All he has to do is get his damn plan passed and then legalize the illegals - Whoala - problem solved!

That says is all there. The democrats plan to make them all legal so they can say no illegal aliens will be covered under the health care plan. WHEN WILL THIS NIGHTMARE END?

The reason illegals will not be covered is because there will be no illegals if Obama has his way. They will get amnety and all the fruits and benefits resulting from their illegal, criminal actions.
Besides, illegals already get free health care in our nations emergency rooms.
Hey BozO!! Illegals aready get free healthcare...it's called the EMERGENCY ROOM where they go and care for fevers, hangnails, etc., etc. Where does he think they will go to get treatment??

Democrats in the House defeated the Heller amendment which would have prohibited them from being included the proposed health care monstrosity. Once he grants amnesty the 20 million or so illegally here will invoke chain migration bringing in millions more immediate and extended family members and the 5,000 to 10,000 illegally crossing the border every week who also will be granted amnesty because of an open border which never will be secure. You cannot contain the cost of health care and make it available and affordable for Americans with open borders with limited health care resources. The hellcare measure is a big taxpayer financed illegal alien health care giveaway to ensure cheap healthy labor for government's union, big labor, and Chamber of Commerce masters. You will never see that dishonest fraud occupying the oval office or congress disclosing this to the American people. _________________ There is no freedom without the law.
