CAFTA will damage jobs, farmers; tell reps to vote 'no'

Is the Central America Free Trade Agreement going to be good for the U.S. worker and farmer?

CAFTA is a direct expansion of the North America Free Trade Agreement, and under NAFTA, the United States has had a net loss of over 2 million manufacturing jobs.

According to the U.S. Labor Department, these workers are now working in service sector jobs making an average of 20 percent less income.

A study by the University of California at Berkeley reveals some 15 million service sector, professional and high-tech jobs now performed by U.S. workers are vulnerable to being sent overseas to low wage countries.

The U.S. trade deficit is projected to top $600 billion this year.

This immense and growing U.S. trade deficit is imperiling the economic well-being of this nation.

Please contact Mississippi's congressional delegation and tell them: CAFTA? WE DON'T HAFTA!
