| Okay, this is the vote that determines if the bill is dead or not. If they vote yes to bring the debate to a close, they will vote on cloture. If the votes goes in favor of continuing the debate, Reid will pull the bill. |

The Senate should have some sort of system (like America's Funniest Videos) where senators key in their vote at the same time with results available instantly.
The roll call stuff is getting pretty old. |

They are voting on cloture.
If they get enough votes, it will end debate and they will move for a vote.
If they don't get enough votes, supposedly it will die.

Okay, everyone, we want no votes. They need 60 yes votes to bring up a cloture vote. If the nays win, Reid will pull the bill. This is the way I'm understanding it. So cross your fingers.
