“The Arkansas consulate, Mexico’s 47th in North America, reflects the growing Mexican immigrant population in the South. Little Rock was chosen not because of its own Mexican population, but because it’s a central location for immigrants from throughout the region who need passports, legal aid and other services.
Supporters also say the consulate, would benefit Americans. Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee pushed hard for the consulate to locate in Little Rock, saying it would help area businesses strike international deals.
Memphis is currently in the district of the Mexican consulate in Atlanta, nearly 400 miles away. By contrast, about 140 miles separate Memphis and Little Rock.”

Sure shows the real Gov. Mike Huckabee doesn’t it...
Ill be sure and forward that one on to my friends over at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Immigration and Naturalization Services… How did you run across that site they list all the candidates that support open boarders and mostly criminal Immigration supporters in American elections as well as a bunch of other stuff but when I looked they even went into local elections here in my state.

Great post W, and great thread. Added and featured on our homepage!
I think it's clear we are all fed up with political pandering to get votes, only to turn on the voter after election day! Keep calling 'em like you see 'em folks!
Welcome to all the new posters!
I'm reading, just trying to understand more... I have three things I would like answered..
I am reading other sites also, I read on Huckabees site thought that his Immigration plan is:
[color=green]Note: This plan is partially modeled on a proposal by Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of the Center for Immigration Studies. ("Re: Immigratio.
My_2_Cents...
Jabwocky,
This is what Krikorian had to say about Mike Huckabee.
"Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a think tank that advocates stronger immigration controls, said Huckabee will have to talk a lot about immigration to convince conservatives that he is serious about enforcement."
http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=93485
THAT IS ALL HE SAID. HE NEVER AGREED WITH HUCKABEE'S 9-POINT PLAN.
I ahd forgotten this but I got reminded last night when I was sitting in the Phoenix, AZ airport listening to the radio between planes. Awhile back, Huckabee used his goober-natorial powers to release two convicted rapists from prison on the premise that they had "found God." The two released felons not only raped again almost immediately, this time they murdered their victims. He'd probably turn Charles Manson loose as president. No thanks! _________________ If the US Government won't punish employers who hire illegal workers, the US Citizens must refuse to do business with anyone who is suspected of hiring illegals.

ANTI Leaders Rally Against Huckabee, Call Minuteman Leader Gilchrist a Lunatic!
As many of my readers know, I frequently peruse the Immigration websites to see "What´s New!" I came across this message today. I think "W" is right in his prediction that the shxx will hit the fan now!
Alipac´s William Gheen is rallying all the ANTI Leaders against Huckabee while calling Gilchrist a Lunatic!
Urgent Warning to all Leaders in the Immigration Enforcement Movement
Fellow leaders of the NIIBC:
As many of you are aware, Jim Gilchrist, has endorsed Mike Huckabee for President, which pretty much erases any good he has ever done for our cause. Mike Huckabee is pro Amnesty for illegal aliens, supports benefits for illegal aliens such as in-state tuition, and has decried ICE raids on chicken plants in his home state. Furthermore, Huckabee has released an "Immigration Plan" which contains the deceptive 'touch back" provision that the pushers of Amnesty tried on us in DC this past year. Huckabee wants to trick the nation by having illegal aliens leave for a day to pick up new papers at an office setup across the American border and then walk right back.
Many of you are already aware that the vast majority of groups and leaders in our movement have distanced themselves from Mr. Gilchrist over the past year due to his increased egomaniacal, destructive, and increasingly bizarre behavior. We have kept this problem low profile in the best interest of the movement, but today Jim Gilchrist just displayed his severe problems to the nation by endorsing a pro amnesty candidate!
ALIPAC has been working on a warning release about Mike Huckabee's stances and record we will release it by tomorrow morning. We are writing all of the leaders in our network to ask that each of you move quickly to go on the warpath against Huckabee as soon as possible. Huckabee is scheduled to take the next poll plunge as his record on illegal immigration is scrutinized, following the trend of McCain and Guiliani.
Now we must all work together to expose the problems with Huckabee, while trying to minimize the damage done by Jim Gilchrist. Our opposition in Socal knows about Mr. Gilchrist's instabilities and now the rest of the nation is about to find out. If we all focus our energies on Huckabee, we can bring his numbers down and hopefully relegate Mr. Gilchrist's endorsement of a pro illegal alien candidate into the past as his final embarrassing act that harms our cause.
WE NEED A RAPID RESPONSE TO THIS QUESTION FROM EACH OF YOU.
Are you willing to have your name, position, and organization added to a letter that we put out by national press release next Monday in support of...
"We the undersigned have dedicated our lives to fighting illegal immigration and we are compelled to warn the American public about the immigration stances and record of Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee. Mike Huckabee is pro amnesty for illegal aliens and favors a "path to citizenship" for illegal aliens currently in the US, which would require a lifting of the current penalties. Mike Huckabee is against ICE raids and decried them in his home state, while supporting benefits for illegal aliens such as taxpayer subsidized in-state tuition. Governor Huckabee also favors a "touchback" provision, which we feel is a trick to confuse voters. He would have illegal aliens leave for a day, pick up new papers, and then enter the US LEGALLY, which is not the back of the immigration line! SIGNED Name, position Organization ---
Please let me know quickly if you will sign.

Yup, the Dems would much rather run against Huckabee than Romney.
This is absolutely right. Notice how quiet the Democratic strategists are right now on Huckabee. The love him as an opponent. They aren't blasting him. That is a sure sign he thinks more like them and is beatable.

For you Huckabee guys, you are not only on the wrong site, but you are squarely behind a loser
I am not asking Huckabee about anything because I don't trust a man who acts one way as a legislature and even tries to about face during a heated primary.
I have had a bellyful of such hypocrites. Hucks the type of guy who will tell you anything you want to hear, but if you look at his face, everythiing's right up front. He's hiding more than he's telling. IN SHORT HUICKABEE IS LIKE BUSH, HE HAS COMPLETELY LOST HIS CREDABILITY AND HILLARY WOULD BEAT HIM UP BAD IN ANY GENERAL ELECTION. No way Huckabee beats either of the leading Democratic contenders and I don't care how hard he thumps his bible and comes down on Mormons, which is disgusting, even if I am not a Mormon.
I am a diehard Tancredo man to be certain, but as many have already mentioned here, so far he or even Hunter are not even close. So given the rest of the lackluster field, I and the rest of America will go with Mitt Romney. And remember I told you so. He's not the best, but he can win and he's as smart as a whip...... smarter than all the Democrats and most of the Republican contenders put together. This country is in a real mess and could go broke with Bush's "free trade" and "outsourcing" alone, not to mention his rediculous insourcing of cheap illegal labor. We need someone with some business sense in there. Romney's supply side-immigration (the employers will be harshly dealt with) at times isn't enough for me, but if you want to change anything or anyone, then work on Romney. Why? Because he does what he says and he says what he will do. That's a giant step up from Huckabee who is just another big corporation, special interest groups American. That is what his record shows, loud and clear.
So please you Huckabeeites,
Lawrence, you say you are a diehard Tancredo supporter yet you are going with Romney? Typical, voters see their guy is trailing behind and don't want to throw away their vote so they vote for a more guaranteed winner. With that attitude Tancredo definitely doesn't have a chance. We have a year to get more people behind Tancredo. A diehard wouldn't abandon his candidate, he would fight for him. _________________ SUPPORT SECURE BORDERS AND ATTRITION!!!!

No Illegals:
Your point is well taken. But there is something else I left out. During one of the Republican debates when it was Tom's turn to field a question, he answered it truthfully and well. Then the camera panned to the audience and I was shocked to see only a handful of people clapping. The rest seemed against him, though I thought Tom was brilliant.
So your Republicans are the ones that are making this mission impossible, and I called his campaign headquarters and suggested he run as an Independent. It is only because I felt so strongly about him that I did so, because as I mentioned in an earlier post, if Tancredo ran as an independent it would split the Republican party in two and the only one who whould benefit is Hilary or Obama.............and that would be catastrophic.
Look, like you say, there's a year to work on it. I was just trying to be realistic. Tom Tancredo would solve our problems and he would solve them real fast............the question is........can he win.........say against Hilary. On the other hand, there is no more charasmatic candidate in this race then Romney. I cannot remember a more charasmatic personality since Kennedy. I believe that he could win against the Dems and win with space to boot.

They are not my Republicans, they are the Republicans. I claim no party. I just want the borders secured. _________________ SUPPORT SECURE BORDERS AND ATTRITION!!!!

I appreciate all your efforts to expose Mike Huckabee's real record. I was raised in Arkansas and have lived here 33 years this time, so I've known about Huckabee since he was a preacher in Texarkana. I am a lifelong CONSERVATIVE Republican. Huckabee is not a real conservative. He has raised taxes many times in Arkansas. He would not stand up to the Arkansas Supreme Court on the education issue. He allowed the Supreme Court to just dictate every part of education, with the people having no say in it at all. But, far the worst of all is his stand on Illegal aliens. He is all for them. We are said to have perhaps the largest Mexican Consulate in the United States and that was all Huckabee's doing. He was there, grinning from ear to ear, when it was opened. As President, Huckabee would legalize all illegals as soon as possible, and open the door wide open to any who wanted to come here. That is where he stands. So, I certainly will not vote for him. I hope you won't either.[/b]
Tancredo is my #2 man, and I get so frustrated at the media ignoring him and his positions that I could scream. All the media seems to report is polling numbers, which essentially means that polls are simply name recognition samples. Nobody seems to actually present stances on the issues, or, even more importantly, voting histories.
I didn't know about Tyson and Arkansas. That makes sense though.
I've been sort of out of the news loop for the past week but I heard Huckabee's name on the El Paso local news for the first time last night. Thankfully, the media here is getting a little better at being non-committal in their story slants now that so many of us have called them on it, so they just said he's the forerunner in Iowa as opposed to trying to convince people he's the "one." I stuck a few bucks into the kitty this morning so William can keep up the fight. I hope others do the same. _________________ If the US Government won't punish employers who hire illegal workers, the US Citizens must refuse to do business with anyone who is suspected of hiring illegals.
