Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is criticizing reports that President Obama plans to send only 1,200 National Guard troops into the border disaster areas to fight the drug and human importing cartels.

Different official estimates indicated that three to ten thousand illegal aliens cross the Southern border of the United States each night, transported in with drugs by cartels that have over 135,000 gang members in their smuggling operations according to the Pentagon. More than 1200 people have been murdered by these same cartels in Mexico this year.

"I feel like a starving man that's been handed a cracker," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "This low number of troops is woefully inadequate and is further proof that President Obama does not take his Constitutional responsibility to protect all states from invasion seriously."

Thousands of Americans are being killed by illegal aliens each year due to the Executive Branch's failure to secure our borders and enforce our existing immigration laws at the request of the US Chamber of Commerce and other special interest groups.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and businesses due to illegal labor.

American wages have been depressed by billions of dollars, billions of dollars in taxpayer resources are being stolen by illegal immigrants each year, and the total losses of property are immeasurable.

"Obama sending 1,200 National Guard troops up against the drug cartel armies is about as sick of a joke as his pledge we will be landing on Mars in 2035," said William Gheen. "I hope the new Congress in 2011 impeaches him and Joe Biden, and considers putting them both on trial for treason against the American public. Then perhaps we can get our borders secured and citizens protected during a time of war."

The US Constitution requires the President and Congress to protect all states from invasion. The American public overwhelming expects our borders to be secured, especially during a time of war. Yet, American borders remain open and news stories from across America roll in about illegal aliens raping, murdering, molesting, menacing, and threatening Americans in many ways.

While Janet Napolitano recently lied by saying the borders are secured, stories fill the blogosphere each day like the one where an illegal alien deported 9 times has been accused of raping a woman in Edmonds, Washington in broad daylight. This is mearly a smokescreen for AMNESTY as recomended by McCain.

At first I thought it was a manuver around Brewers request to send helicopters, unreported by the MSM or even Fox. But no, its a preamble to Amnesty, thats all it is.

Obama wants to get amnesty for illegals. But Americans do not support that. So just enforce current immigration laws. No amnesty, NEVER. Or Obama wants to divert attention from the Sestak scandal. Regarding the Sestak case, Sestak must be forced to provide specific names.

Why cant we borrow a page from old roman history and build a wall on the border with watchtowers every 1/4 mile and a military outpost every mile. It worked for Emperor Hadrian in England to keep out the Northern barbarians and it will for for us to keep out the Southern problem. Laughing

Well, many of the Arizona citizen's have firearm's. Maybe some of them could be deputized by the state of Arizona to help work the Arizona/Mexico border to protect it????

I sure hope he is able to put that little sorry piece of lying garbage in his rightful place. I know for sure that I'll be writing another check to J.D. What are the rules of engagement, are they allowed ammo for their weapons? Last time I read they were being flanked and didn't have ammo for their weapons and they had to withdraw. Don't send them if they are unarmed or without ammo....

What a sham. Why even bother? We need to keep pressure on our state legislatures to pass legislation similar to Arizona's and to punish those who hire them. If they have no where to go and no place to work, then maybe they will stop coming over the border.

I don't think we can count on this so-called President to do anything. He seems to be deaf, mute, and blind to the demands of his constitutients. I agree with those who say start proceedings to get him out of office before it is too late.

We need more elected officials like Jan Brewer and Tom McClintock.

It is an obvious sham. As FOX reported tonight, those troops will be basic desk jobs and might not even wear unforms. McCain is just trying to win his election, and asking Obama to make some type of gesture to again fool the people. We all know what happens to troops... on the border today; then back in Afghanistan tomorrow.

If the dude were serious about protecting this country from Muslim terrorists and Mexican drug cartels... he would finish the damn fence !!!! As said on FOX tonight.... hire unemployed peeps (and there are plenty of them) to finish building the damn fence... Then we'll be done with it !!

I would hide my skinny head in shame too if I offered such an absurd number of troops to help fight against the invasion of our country. Does Obama really think that this will secure the border? How does he justify spending trillions protecting Iraq and Afghanistan from terrorist attacks, when stories just came out this week that the terrorists are coming to the US via the Mexican border. The first language terrorists learn are Spanish.

Just returned from the Wamart in Marana, AZ. The store was filled with soldiers in desert camo uniforms. This is not uncommon here in the Tucson area. What was uncommon is that they all had British Flags on their sleeves and spoke with heavy accents. I have never seen this before and have lived in west Tucson a long time. I hope our President does not plan to include the use of foregin troops in our state. Anyone else notice anything like this?

I have NO doubt that this was a deal McCain made with Obama topretend to secure the border while McCain does a back door move trying to help Obama pass amnesty.

Can you imagine how effective 1200 troops will be? With over 1900 miles of border that is about 1 man for ever 1.6 miles. That will be very effective, huh?
