(Raleigh, NC) Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is making it clear today that they support Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) for his popular stances against illegal immigration and Amnesty and for his warning to the nation during Obama's speech last night when he yelled "You Lie!"
"It is a real shame that the rest of Congress was not on their feet pointing out the President's lie about illegal aliens in his Health Care plans along with Joe Wilson," said William Gheen. "When a politician lies to Congress and the public in front of Congress, our elected officials should speak out as Joe Wilson did."
Some Obama supporters in the media and online are making the claim that clapping and approving gestures are appropriate during Presidential speeches, while dissent is improper, rude, barbaristic, etc... ALIPAC believes that dissent has a proper place in any debate and that Obama supporters should not diefy the President.
"Joe Wilson yelled out what millions of Americans were thinking during Obama's speech," said William Gheen. "We agree with what Joe Wilson said, even if we did not, we would defend his right as an American to speak his mind."
President Obama lied to Congress and the nation during his speech of 09-09-09 when he claimed "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally."
The evidence this is a lie is found in countless major news reports indicating that President Obama and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) intend to try and pass Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty legislation soon, that would legalize millions of illegal immigrants and qualify them for all taxpayer benefits and jobs in America.
Rasmussen Reports poll released this week indicates that 83% of Americans oppose "government health care subsidies"for illegal immigrants.
Further evidence of Obama's lie is found in the FACT that while illegal immigrants are mentioned in HR 3200 as being ineligible for health care benefits, there are no enforcement provisions and Republican lawmaker attempts to amend the legislation and add enforcement provisions have been voted down by Democrats.
"Under current law, illegal aliens are not supposed to receive welfare or medicaid benefits. They are not supposed to register to vote or have jobs, either," said William Gheen. "But due to a virtual non enforcement of our existing immigration laws, illegal aliens are stealing American jobs, registering to vote, and receiving welfare and medicaid benefits."
ALIPAC stands with the over 80% of Americans who oppose taxpayer benefits for illegal aliens, want our borders secured, and oppose any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens. Amen, William. Great article. I hoped the Republicans would have stood up and chanted "lies" as well. Perhaps it happened so fast and they weren't thinking clearly and/or they were all so afraid of Obama's goons coming after them later. The media would have had to pay attention and perhaps someone would finally listen to the will of the American people.

I hope that Joe Wilson reads William's press commentary. The Heller Amendment that would have mandated the use of SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements) and other measures to screen for eligibility and legality were rejected by the House Ways and Means. So, they want illegal aliens covered and they know how to use the legislative language to get it done.
Email William's message to lawmakers, media, and others.
Town Hall attendees and Tea Party members need to have signs that say, Washington, Politicians, YOU LIE!

I agree with you that Obama was lying when he said his health reform would not cover illegal aliens. Democrats refused to consider an amendment that would have enforced excluding them. His 47 million oft repeated figure of un-insured includes illegal aliens and they want amnesty which would cover them.
Here is an answer you might throw in the face of those who are attacking you:
Very publically challenge Obama to prove they will not be covered. Call Obama's and the Democrats' bluff. If they are telling the truth as they claim have THEM put an amendment in the bill requiring E-Verify for any health or health insurance program that receives federal tax dollars and excludes any person who was in the US illegally at the time the bill was passed.

I tried his phone number and website and couldn't get through. I am optimistic that he is getting "good for you" support calls. I told him we need more representatives like him and I'd help him run for President if he decided to do so. I also told him Obama should be impeached and asked him to start proceedings. And I told him Obama, Reid and Pelosi all have not kept their vows to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the U.S." and they are all traitors who should be thrown out of office. And I told him it is only people like him that will protect the country our Fore-Fathers set up for future generations.
(The reason the Dems and Obama want to give Illegals whatever they want, including citizenship, is because they want them to be able to vote them back in office the next election and they then don't have to worry about us, the legal Americans.)
I also called the White House YET AGAIN to tell Obama we do not want Gov't Health Care (not that he cares). Number is 202-456-1111.
AND I called Rep Snowe (who is going to vote for the bill and preserve its passage if she can) and told her she is a turn-coat and the American people do not want gov't health care and her political career will be over if she is the reason this bill passes. Her number is 202-224-5344.

CRS says healthcare bill would cover illegal aliens

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has long criticized the proposed House healthcare bill for its provisions to cover illegal immigrants, and its position has now been supported by a report from the Congressional Research Service (CRS).
CRS is the research arm of the U.S. Congress, and its study has found that under the Affordable Health Care Act of 2009, proposed by the House of Representatives, illegal aliens would potentially be able to receive benefits under the so-called public option.
It has also established the bill does not include a mechanism to prevent illegal immigrants from applying for and receiving "affordability credits" that would help low-income individuals purchase private health insurance.
"These loopholes were intended to extend benefits to illegal aliens while allowing Members of Congress to deny those facts to the American people," says Dan Stein, president of FAIR.
"It is time for the politicians to close [them]," he adds.
CRS is calling on Congress to adopt clearer language that would unequivocally make illegal aliens ineligible for publicly funded or subsidized healthcare and require stringent verification criteria. It also wants a five-year waiting period introduced for legal immigrants to prevent abuses of the system through "healthcare tourism." _________________ Remember that all Politicians work for us, the U.S. Taxpaying Citizens. We know that the president is lying through his teeth (even with a straight face) about his intentions to insure illegal aliens. Just because he thinks that he can shove his weight around to make these "illegals" legal so that he can say that now that they are legal they have the same rights as any "American".
Not true and never will be. He is not only a liar but he also a deceitful liar. He is using "specific words" that he can re-call later that will proclaim that, at the time of his speech, he was telling the truth about insuring "illegals".

Even if it's made crystal clear that no illegal alien-under ANY circumstances-will get these healthcare benefits EVER (don't hold your breath), here's the part they're failing to mention:
The very second that an illegal alien passes a baby through their birth canal in the United States, that baby is an American citizen. As an American citizen, their healthcare costs are covered! Yes, even the cost of their own birth. The mother is now the Legal Guardian of an American citizen, and entitled to all government benefits in order to care for this very special new citizen! And because family is so important, ALL of them will be on their way shortly...
We need to pass legislation to prohibit every baby born from illegal aliens in this country from being awarded automatic citizenship.
On a side note, here's an interesting fact:
In Aruba, there is NO unemployment. NONE!
If a citizen of Aruba needs a job, they simply walk into an establishment.
If someone is working there that is not a citizen of Aruba, they simply tap them on the shoulder and explain that they are a citizen, and will be taking their place. DONE! No fancy paperwork, forms to fill out, or endless government officials and notaries to pay. SIMPLE! And it WORKS. _________________ Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver...
