    Lou Dobbs Tonight
    Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Tonight, we’ll have live coverage of the space shuttle landing
scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. And we’ll have all the latest from
    the campaign trail, plus:

    * The same corporate interests who so viciously fought the
Sarbanes-Oxley financial reforms after the last round corporate
scandals are now decrying potential new regulation in the wake
of the housing and credit market crises. Of course, if
regulators had done their job in the first place and the banks
and lenders were properly policed, the subprime crisis would
    never have happened.

    * The Washington DC police department is launching a campaign
to get illegal handguns off the streets. Unlike programs in
other cities that ask people to voluntarily turn in illegal
guns, the DC police want to search peoples’ homes. They won’t
kick down any doors but they will knock on the door and ask
residents if they would like their home searched. The ACLU is
    opposing the campaign.

    * First the State Department got in trouble over contractors
who illegally accessed the presidential candidates’ passport
records. Now a former foreign service officer is saying that
fully half of this nation’s illegal immigrant problem is
connected to problems State’s visa operation. He says visas are
issued after just 90 second interviews, and the department
    doesn’t enforce visa limits.

Lou’s new radio program, the Lou Dobbs Show, debuted earlier
this month. Join us weekdays from 3-6 p.m. Eastern, for a look
at news and politics aimed at independent thinkers. Check your
local listings at LouDobbsRadio.com, or listen live online.

Today, Lou speaks with Glenn Kearney of the New York
Association of Auxiliary Police about why the Justice
Department is unwilling to compensate the families of two
auxiliary officers who were killed while on duty in New York
    City.

And Todd Bensman, reporter for the San Antonio Express-News,
will be on to discuss how terrorists are establishing outposts
in Central America as a jumping off point to enter the United
    States.

Lou’s book INDEPENDENTS DAY is now on sale in bookstores and on
Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com. In Independents Day, Lou
issues a rallying cry to American citizens eager for a change,
focusing particularly on the critical issues and challenges of
    the 2008 election.

    Check out the completely re-designed
    http://www.loudobbs.com, featuring the latest
updates on Lou’s TV and radio shows, audio and video clips,
    written commentary and more.

HaHaHa....Wonder how many 'yes, of course' responses they will get?

Are you kidding? The DC police can't do something like THAT. It would be an invasion of privacy...a violation of civil rights....politically incorrect.

They would much rather VIOLATE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION.
