Friends,

It is with great sadness that I report that Dr. Madeleine Cosman has passed away. With her passing, our movement has lost one of our strongest fighters.

Dr. Cosman's intellect and charisma made her one of the most dangerous opponents to the Open Borders Lobby.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. 'C' and working with her at the 2005 Unite to Fight Summit in Las Vegas. We became instant friends with a great deal of mutual admiration. Dr. C was also a small craft pilot and she would fly around the South Western US attending events and speaking to the national media.

Dr. Cosman was a great leader that told the nation about all of the hospitals that have closed in California due to waves of illegal immigration. She also raised awareness about the increased outbreaks of diseases that are brought in by illegal aliens.

Dr. Cosman, you will be missed and you will be remembered!

Our hearts and prayers go out to your family and all of us that are committed to stopping illegal immigration and securing America's borders should pause to reflect on the accomplishments of this great woman.

If our movement should prevail, Dr. Madeleine Cosman should be listed in the history books as one of America's true patriotic heroes.

We're sorry to hear that, William. We'll continue her efforts and hard work to secure our borders and to uphold our laws on immigration.

A Tribute to Madeleine Cosman

You turn and see a magnificent sunset: splashes of fiery orange against a vivid
blue sky. You feel shaken, awestruck, excited, ecstatic. Strong emotions play
against a single thought: you wish you could preserve this fabulous moment. You
want to capture it somehow, so that later you can rekindle this brush against the
cosmos. You want time to understand the way it affects you. Somehow, you cannot.
Even as you watch, the colors fade, the sky darkens, and night erases the scene.

For many people, Madeleine Cosman's life was like that. They would like to hold on
to her presence, the magnificent color of her life. They wish they could rekindle
the flame she lit in them. They miss her affection, her humor, her inspiration.
Like a sunset, her life has been too evanescent, too strong to be kept for long.
(Dr. Jerome Schein).

American citizens have lost one of their greatest advocates in the person of
Madeleine Cosman. Seldom does a person with such impeccable credentials step
forward to participate in the effort to reclaim America for her citizens.

Madeleine was outstanding in the fields of law and medicine, and was the source
for constant updates on the disease information so carefully suppressed by our
government, and the Center for Disease Control. Layer by layer, in her flamboyant
presentations, she exposed the disease factors, and proceeded to expose the
updated astronomical costs to American taxpayers for the provision of medical
services which are never reimbursed, and the costs of anchor-babies. She was
fearless.

Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing her, even for a brief moment,
recognized her tenacity, and admired her brilliance. Madeleine always had time to
stop and talk to any person on the subject of illegal immigration, and the
devastating factors involved in the destruction of this once great country. She
used her own money to fund her transportation to events, and often donated her
presentations in order to bring about awareness of the serious nature of this
illegal alien invasion.

Madeleine Cosman is no longer physically with us, but the deeds she left behind
oblige us to keep working with more persistence in reclaiming America. Madeleine
knew the awful truth: a structure that may take years to create can be destroyed
in a minute.

Hats off to you, Madeleine - you will be sorely missed.

I am sorry to hear about Dr. Cosman too. During the past year I've read her wonderful articles through www.newswithviews namely on how illegal aliens are milking the Medicaid system. Dr. Cosman will be missed, that is for sure.

Dr. Cosman was right on target. Illegal aliens milking the medicaid program. I see it in my job and I just cannot believe it. I think "if only all of my fellow Americans could see this, and see American citizens turn away from getting medical care because they cannot afford it".

If we could get a TRUE congressional investigation of Medicaid I believe the results would make the American people fall on their face in shock and disbelief. No one would even believe it. Shocked

It hurts to see U.S. Veterans say, "I can't afford that, I guess I'll have to drive an hour and 1/2 to the Veterans Hospital in Miami and try to get it there. Then within 20-30 minutes later an illegal alien is right there taking what should be going to the U.S. Veteran. This is the most difficult thing to watch and observe.

One Reporter's Opinion: Dr. Madeleine Cosman's Legacy -
A Harsh Warning

George Putnam

Friday, March 10, 2006

It is this reporter's opinion that we American citizens have lost one of our greatest advocates in the illegal alien invasion battle. Seldom does a person with such impeccable credentials step forward to participate in the effort to reclaim America. I speak of Dr. Madeleine Cosman, Ph.D., J.D., M.A., B.A. – a medical/legal genius.

Madeleine, a regular on this report, recently died of a rare progressive disease, scleroderma, that leads to hardening and tightening of the skin and connective tissues (the fibers that provide the framework and support for your body). Ironically, Dr. Cosman, a medical scientist who had dedicated her life to others in need, found herself afflicted by a disease for which there is no known cure. It is not considered contagious or cancerous, but in the case of Dr. Cosman, it has proved fatal.

In this report and on our radio show, Madeleine familiarized us all with such unfamiliar diseases as dengue fever, Marburg fever, Chagas disease and the re-introduction to our society of smallpox, polio, hepatitis, tuberculosis and leprosy, which is not common knowledge.

The good doctor was concerned in each public appearance and radio and television interview with the illegal aliens who cross our borders MEDICALLY UNEXAMINED. Said Madeleine, "We may know what illegal aliens carry in their BACKPACKS; we do not know what they carry in their bodies."

Said Dr. Cosman: "When grandpa came to America, he kissed the ground of New York's Ellis Island. Then he stripped naked and coughed real hard. Every legal immigrant before 1924 was examined for infectious diseases upon arrival and tested for tuberculosis. Anyone infected was shipped back to the old country. That was powerful incentive for each newcomer to make heroic efforts to appear healthy.

"Today, LEGAL immigrants must demonstrate they are free of communicable diseases and drug addiction to qualify for lawful permanent residency green cards. But ILLEGAL aliens stop at no medical checkpoint. Whoever walks through our GOLDEN DOOR comes in whether healthy or sick. If we catch and detain a sick illegal alien who proves to have a serious disease, we keep him. Our foolish compassion makes us fear that his home country has neither adequate medical resources nor modern wonder drugs.

"So we release sick illegal aliens to our American streets to infect others if their diseases are contagious, or we place them in our Medicaid program and pay for their expensive treatments."

Thus we see horrendous diseases that we long ago conquered in America are coming back to plague us. Let's take tuberculosis as an example. Ordinary T.B. can be cured in six months with four drugs that cost about $2,000. Serious M.D.R.-T.B. takes 24 months at a cost in expensive drugs at approximately $250,000. Each illegal alien with M.D.R.-T.B. coughs and infects numerous people who will not show symptoms immediately; the disease explodes later like a time bomb.

In "Hospital to the World Welcomes Illegals and Contagious Diseases" (April 25, 2005), Dr. Cosman informs us that:

T.B. was virtually absent in Virginia until in 2002 it spiked a 17 percent increase.

Not far from Washington, D.C., T.B. had a meteoric rise of 188 percent. Public health officials blame immigrants, traced to illegal aliens from Mexico.

The Queens, New York, Health Department attributed 81 percent of new T.B. cases in 2001 to immigrants, with 42 percent of all new T.B. cases ascribed to the foreign born.

Violent T.B. outbreaks afflicted schoolteachers and children in Michigan and adults and kids in Texas. The teachers and kids caught it at school from the coughing children of illegal aliens.

In Minnesota, the police suddenly came down with M.D.R.-T.B. The cops caught it in their patrol cars when they arrested illegal aliens who coughed in their faces.

T.B. erupted in Portland, Maine, and DelRay Beach, Florida, directly traced to illegals.

Dr. Cosman also told this reporter of other diseases brought back to us by illegals:

She cited Chagas disease, which has no known cure and has the revolting nickname of "kissing bug disease." The bug has parasites that favor the lips and the face for infection and infects 18 million people in Latin America.

She cites leprosy: Suddenly, in the past three years, America has more than 7,000 cases. Illegal aliens brought leprosy from India, Brazil, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Next on the list: dengue fever. There was a recent outbreak in Webb County, Texas, on the border with Mexico.

Polio was eradicated from America but now appears in illegal immigrants.

Malaria was obliterated but is now emerging in Texas and other states.

About 4,000 young children under age 5 have contracted a disease called Kawasaki, known as "strawberry tongue."

And there's the deadly Marburg disease.

And there's the ever-present and increasing Hepatitis A, B and C; an outbreak occurred near Pittsburgh, where 3,000 came down with it thanks to infected Mexico-grown scallions and illegal alien kitchen workers in Chi-Chi's restaurant. Two Americans died.

We can thank the late Dr. Madeleine Cosman for alerting us to what the illegal aliens bring to us as they cross our borders. Dr. Cosman was outstanding in the fields of law and medicine, and she provided constant updates on disease information we found nowhere else. She exposed the disease factors and the astronomical costs to the taxpayers for the medical services never reimbursed as well as the costs of "anchor babies." Madeleine knew that the wonderful nation left to us by our forefathers could be destroyed without constant vigilance.

Indeed, we are the GOLDEN DOOR – Hospital to the World – and we're paying for all of it. But, dear doctor, you've done us a great public service in keeping us informed. You, dear friend, will be sorely missed.

Dear ALIPAC: March 11, 2006

Thank you for informing us of the passing of Dr.
Madeleine Cosman.
and thank you, "BlueHills," for your link to George
Putnam's March 10, 2006 biography of Mrs. Dr. Cosman
appearing in NewsMax.com.

While I have been quite aware of the political
implications of what appears to be a deliberate
concerted attempt by certain people, "South of the
Border," to gain political ascendency in this land
which has traditionally honored the "opinion of the
majority of the people," by simply pressing for an
increasing numerical presence in our country, leading
to a rule by a majority of aliens, legal or illegal, I
was totally unaware of the problem which Dr. Cosman
has dedicated her life to solving: the introduction
into our country, in numbers approaching epidemic, of
life-threatening diseases. Diseases which often
Americans have worked hard and diligently to eradicate
from our presence. Until now. Until this
scarcely-stemmed flood of unwashed illegal aliens who
come here for whatever reason, good or bad, but who
often carry with them the seeds of death to us all,
native or alien.

The Prophet Ezekiel has written, "When I bring a
sword upon the land, if the people of the land take a
man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow
the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever
heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not
warning, if the sword come, and take him away, his
blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound
of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall
be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver
his soul.

"As I live, saith the Lord God; I have no pleasure
in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn
from his way and live." (Ezekiel 33:2-5, 11)

I thank our higher power for the life of this fair
watchlady, who has dedicated her life to using her
God-given medical and legal talents to do what she
could to warn the people of America, in particular of
this medical "sword," which now threatens all of us. I
trust she now rests in peace and comfort with the Lord
God who has used her eloquently, to warn our people of
the approach of this medical sword.

And I pray that each of us who remain, will now take
from her example the determination to recommit
whatever talents of intellect and conscience we
ourselves may have been given, to serve more
diligently than ever as "watchmen on the wall."

Thank you again, ALIPAC, for your continuing
testimony to the truth with respect to the problem of
illegal immigration. And thank you all who unite
through ALIPAC, to serve the truth, and in particular,
the continuation of "Life, Liberty, Property and
Pursuit of Happiness," in this fair constitutional
republic we call The United States of America..
God bless.

As the late Scot, the Rev. Samuel Rutherford wrote
in the 1600s, ultimately, I believe, "LEX REX," THE
LAW IS KING.

Sincerely, R. Greene

Madeleine P. Cosman, 68, Medieval Expert, Dies
By MARGALIT FOX
Madeleine Pelner Cosman, a prominent writer, scholar and lecturer whose passion for what she called the "glorious order" of the past led her first to a career in medieval and Renaissance studies and more recently to wide public advocacy of tougher immigration laws, died on March 2 in Escondido, Calif. She was 68.

The cause was complications of scleroderma, a chronic disease of the connective tissue, her family said. Ms. Cosman, who moved to California in the late 1990's, was for decades a resident of Tenafly, N.J.

A longtime faculty member at the City College of New York, Ms. Cosman founded the Institute for Medieval and Renaissance Studies there in 1968 and was its director for many years. The institute closed in 1993, when Ms. Cosman retired. In the 1970's and afterward, she helped organize the annual medieval festival at the Cloisters in Upper Manhattan and spoke frequently at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and elsewhere about daily life in the Middle Ages.

The author of nearly a dozen books, Ms. Cosman was best known to popular audiences for "Fabulous Feasts: Medieval Cookery and Ceremony" (George Braziller, 1976). An illustrated study of culinary practice in the Middle Ages, it also included recipes for dishes like roseye (fried fish in a rose-petal sauce), mulled wine and peppermint rice.

Ms. Cosman took her work seriously. She could sing madrigals, play the lute and eat with her fingers off a trencher in the proper medieval style. Her house in suburban New Jersey was appointed with ornately carved period furniture. Arms and armor lay about, the walls were hung with Flemish tapestries, and the cellar was stocked with mead.

On special occasions, visitors might find Ms. Cosman, wearing a flowing velvet gown, presiding over an elegant table that could include blankmangere en doucette (chicken cooked with cumin and cream, served in pastry) and lentil mawmenye (a lamb and lentil stew). Utensils were not supplied.

Apart from medieval food and birthday cake, the only thing Ms. Cosman knew how to cook was hamburger, a dish that took her nearly 15 years to master. Her family was fond of hamburger, which was always served by candlelight.

Ms. Cosman could also play the piano, fly an airplane and shoot a gun. In the 1980's and early 90's, she made her living buying and selling medical practices, and in the mid-90's, when she was in her late 50's, she became a lawyer. In recent years, she worked as a health-care policy analyst and was a volunteer patrolwoman with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

At her death, Ms. Cosman was a member of the board of the California Rifle and Pistol Association. She was also on the board of the Wake Up America Foundation, which opposes illegal immigration, and was frequently heard discussing the issue on talk radio.

Madeleine Pelner was born in Brooklyn on Dec. 4, 1937, the oldest of three daughters of Louis Pelner and the former Lillian Rosen. She received a bachelor's degree from Barnard in 1959, a master's from Hunter in 1960 and a Ph.D. in English and comparative literature from Columbia in 1964. In 1995, she earned a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

As a Jewish child growing up during World War II, Madeleine was acutely conscious of the need for self-protection, something she later discussed in interviews. As a young woman, she learned to shoot. If the knock on the door were to come, Madeleine Pelner would be ready. By the time she was in college, her devotion to the concept of personal responsibility had led her to the writings of Ayn Rand, whose libertarian ideas she embraced.

Ms. Cosman's diverse work was united by her interest in the history of medicine. As a scholar of medieval medicine, she found that early medical treatises often included descriptions of food thought to be curative. This led to "Fabulous Feasts." She was later the founder and president of Medical Equity, a brokerage of medical and surgical practices.

Most recently, Ms. Cosman's interest in health care policy led her to study the effects of illegal immigration on the United States health-care system. Her article "Illegal Aliens and American Medicine," published last year in The Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, has been widely reproduced on anti-immigration and other conservative Web sites.

Ms. Cosman's husband, Bard, a plastic surgeon whom she married in 1958, died in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Marin, of Scarsdale, N.Y.; a son, Bard, of La Jolla, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Information on other survivors could not be confirmed.

Ms. Cosman also leaves behind a vast library of illuminated manuscripts and a large collection of handguns.

I loved what Dr. Cosman said here. This is such a great idea!

The solution according to Dr. Cosman, is the CRAG program. The people at our meeting gave her a resounding ovation when she explained the prongs of her plan:

C = Close America's borders
R = Rescind anchor babies citizenship
A = Aiding and abetting illegal aliens is a crime - Punish it!
G = Grant no amnesties

_______________

She was such a great help to this cause and will be missed so much. I share the same affliction (scleroderma) and God willing I will have another 10 years as she did to raise some cain about this issue!
