Even Latinos don’t support illegal immigration.
¡Ay, caramba! Even Latinos don’t support illegal immigration.

This is the last thing the Democrats wanted to hear. One of their most reliable voting blocks is abandoning them on one of their most reliable wedge issues.
The San Bernardino Sun has the details of Democrat discord:

A new study shows Latinos have soured considerably on illegal immigration in the last three years.
In 2007, 50 percent of Latinos surveyed told the Pew Hispanic Center that the growing number of illegal immigrants was a positive force for the existing Latino population. In a Pew survey released Thursday, that number had plummeted to 29 percent.
Thirty-one percent said illegal immigration had a negative effect, and 20 percent said it had no effect.

Of course Latino citizens would reject illegal immigration for the same reasons most citizens reject illegal immigration. Democrats who want to define an entire ethnic group of citizens by the ethnicity of many illegal alien lawbreakers is an outright insult, put down, degrading and racist act by Democrats or anyone else who wants to chase the "Latino vote" based on support for foreign nationals in our country illegally.
It's an outrageous position and all should be warned that this will not be tolerated by the majority of voters, let alone citizens of Hispanic or Latino descent. That's right Jeb Bush, you blew it, Bubba.
Republicans, stick to your guns to stop illegal immigration and deport illegal aliens and Americans will flock to the polls to vote for you, including voters of Latino and Hispanic descent for the same reasons everyone else flocked to cast a vote for you: illegal immigration is illegal, destroying the job market for US citizens, and bankrupting our country.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

In South Florida I see opposite ends of the spectrum. Many of those who came legally are against it especially the more educated ones. Cubans on the other hand look at it differently depending on when they came here and also how they were raised. Alot of the ones from the 80's on look at it like fellow hispanics and will reprimand those who are against illegals. The head of Maimi Dade College is Cuban and is allowing illegals to go to school there. In fact he is lobbying to have the dream act passed. I don't get it. As a legal immigrant myself and being raised by eastern europeans I can't side with illegals from either my country of birth or from Eastern Europe. There are many illegals from Esatern Europe in New York, L.A., and Miami.

New Mexican, I misposted. The link works but the article is archived. I had trouble finding it, because the date was wrong. The original article, by staff writer Ryan Hagen, is from Nov. 2d. No biggie, I just wanted to be certain about the info. Frankly I'm surprised that it's taken this long for Mexicans to realize that their children and their grand children will be pushed aside, along with the offspring of all other Americans.
