hi my wife wrote this message and asheville citizen times who seems pro amnesty wont print it, while a small town newspaper McDowell News printed it.
As a legal resident from the Philippines I am so tired of hearing about the illegal immigrants that are deported and separated from their families. I have been apart from my family for years at least the illegal’s have the opportunities to bring their families and once here they are then allowed to get jobs, where I was denied a job until I had a gotten my residence card because I didn’t want to break the law and get a fake Social Security number.they say the illegal immigrants are only taking jobs that people don’t want,which is not true while my family is denied work or even to visit the country. My sisters are engineers, speak English and would love to work here to better their life’s and my family . I had to speak and comprehend English to even get a chance to come here. I don’t think its right to reward people that can violate the laws by giving amnesty or jobs or anything else to illegal’s or anyone that breaks the laws just because they can enter the country easier then other countries and to not make them speak English, I would love my language to be available on everything like Spanish because its hard to translate some things. American citizens who break the law and go to prison are separated from their families, even if illegal’s are deported they come right back. So be fair to all countries that want a better life or to be with family to come just as easy as Mexico. I don’t understand the justice system of the US because you have federal laws to stop this but states have to make up laws because the government wont do their job . I couldn’t even go on a honeymoon cruise because I was told I would be deported because I only had a 1 entry visa, even though I had done everything legally. Sorry but I think illegals should be deported so LEGAL and us citizens can have jobs.
