    One of the plaintiffs in the federal lawsuit to block Arizona's controversial SB1070 immigration law from being enacted will be on hand at the federal courthouse in Tucson on Monday to watch the proceedings live from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.

    Monday's hearing begins at 9 a.m. and will be broadcast live at the Evo A. Deconcini U.S. Courthouse, 405 W. Congress St. in the First Floor Jury Assembly Room..

    Tucson Border Action Network is a plaintiff organization in the ACLU case against SB1070, Friendly House v. Whiting. It formed in 1999 to work with Arizona's immigrant and border communities to ensure civil rights are upheld. The membership-based organization combines grassroots community organizing, leadership development, litigation and policy advocacy to achieve its goals.
