    Man arrested in Hazleton shooting

    Man Arrested in Hazleton Shootings

    Police escort Miguel Abreu to his arraignment to be charged for two murders in Hazleton.





    Saturday, October 21, UPDATED 11:30 a.m.

    A Hazleton man is under arrest on charges that he shot and killed two men late Friday night.

    Police say Miguel Abreu, 52, turned himself in not long after the shooting at the corner of Fourth Street and Lafayette Court. He told police he fired shots at a car around 11:30 p.m.

    Police identified one of the victims as José Pacheco. The other man's name has not been released yet.

    Luzerne County District Attorney David Lupas said he believes Abreu and the victims knew each other.

    It just happened Friday and their status hasn't been mentioned yet. With all the discussion about Mayor Barletta's immigration law, I'm sure it will be in the news soon!
    This only serves to prove his point.
    I'll keep an eye on the news and update this story.

    The latest article says the shooter was from the Dominican Republic. His priors were drugs arrest, endangering a child, assaulting a police office. You know the usual. And according to our buffoon president, doing jobs Americans jusy won't do anymore!
