I have two degrees from a university with a large Latino (actually, Mexican-American) student body, I dated Latino women in college, one of my best college chums was Latino, I lived in a Latino barrio for five years, I served in the Army with Latino men, I fought for the equal rights of Latinos early in my business career, and I support Latino immigration.
So why am I telling Latinos to get screwed?
Because of the brouhaha started by Latino activists over the new PBS documentary on the Second World War by the famous producer, Ken Burns. The documentary tells the story of WWII through the experiences of four American families.
I saw the tail end of an interview with their spokeswoman and I was amazed that BURNS actually recut! this documentary.
So.........PBS is that frightened?
