Allstate supporting La Raza - Please call and educate them!

Hello,

I just called Allstate and asked them why they were giving multi-year, multi-dollar grants to the racists group La Raza ("The Race"). http://www.nclr.org/section/corporate_partners/institutional_corporate/

The woman at Allstate verified they are giving them money and keep saying "if we're giving them money then they can't be racists" and wouldn't even listen to me.

Please call Allstate at (847) 402-5448 and file a complaint that they are supporting this racists, un-American organization. We need to start getting the word out to these companies who these people are and that it's not okay to support them.

La Raza major promotions include:
1. Supports voting rights for illegal aliens
2. Supports bilingual ballots
3. Supports access to driver's licenses for illegal immigrants.

If enough people complain it will get attention of the company because businesses won't give if they think it will lose them business (I'm currently looking for another Insurance Company - I will not support a company that gives to La Raza).

BETTER YET, GO TO THIS LINK AND SEND THEM AN EMAIL. You will have to fill in some info, but after they get your email, you won't have to worry about being bothered!!!! I told them I belonged to two activist groups with over 350,000 members and the info about their support of LaRaza would be widely disseminated.

I called and registered a formal complaint with their corporate office. They don't have a clue (at least the lady in the office I spoke to) as to the true nature of La Raza.

Defended State Farm Policy and praised LaRaza. State Farm views reflect those of President. They have had a long relationship with LaRaza. They know LaRaza to be a good organization because they are supported by GE/Microsoft/Fox News/Allstate/Geico.
I canceled by auto insurancewith State Farm. Allstate said they do not support LaRaza. Now where to go?

I had allstate homeowners and auto ins. for three years and never filed a claim,then a tree limb blew down and damages my fence 700 dollars worth so I filed on it. Two weeks later they canceled the ins.
The reason? Excessive claims. Good hands people,you bet.

I just called and the lady (nasty) told me they are not a racist group. I asked her what she thought "the Race" meant, and asked her if she has seen thier website.

I spoke with Jane. She was nice... but if many Americans are calling ...maybe she isn't in the mood to argue. She just told me she was not aware and would let them know. Very Happy

The question is - is Allstate going to take us (the American public and their PAYING customers) seriously and quit funding La Raza?

The bottom line is they are funding a group that offends a large portion of the public and therefore they need to drop them. I don't think companies should fund non-profits at all - how much am I paying in my rates so they can give money out to these radical groups? If I want to give to non-profits I should get to pick which ones I give to - Corporations and the Government should not be using my money for their charity donations.

We need to press Allstate for an answer - is she even giving the complains to the person in charge? Does anyone live near Northbrook, Illinois that can go meet with them?

Please keep calling & emailing (and post it on other websites). If they got lots of complains they will have to do something. Thanks! Very Happy

I think that LaRaza was originally a study group funded by the Ford Foundation.

Go to their website and look at the contributors and the amount of Federal funding they get.

Well that settles it. I guess i won't use all state insurance on the ford vehicle that i will never buy. Looks like Geicko for the Toyota. Way to go, corporate america. Way to make your countrymen hate you.

How lame for an insurance company that donates money to an organization that is a racist organization who supports poor people that are here illegally in our country... And because they are poor and illegal they won't buy insurance anyway, which makes them a huge risk for that insurance company! Confused
