No one actually thinks the French government will do anything of consequence, such as booting most of the aliens out, right? They’ve been allowing violence and more for decades. They knew who these people were. They’ve watched the rapes and everything else, and really done nothing.

In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.

That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.

So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.

In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders.

It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed.

What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it.

The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did.

So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this."

The French never chose this.

They were forced into it.

Cartel hitman earning $220 weekly claims he incinerated 250 people at Mexican ranch

A hired hitman for a powerful Mexican cartel is claiming he helped carry out the executions of more than 500 people at a remote ranch — including 250 bodies he says he personally incinerated.
He has now spent the last 18 months providing tips to a group of volunteers searching for their loved ones.

The masked assassin said that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel made hundreds of victims disappear at and around Rancho Izaguirre, a remote property located in Teuchitlán, a municipality in the western state of Jalisco.
“More than 500 people were executed there,” the cartel’s executioner said in an interview aired by Italian public television broadcaster RAI on Oct. 10.

“I personally incinerated 250 people,” he confessed.

The killer, whose identity was concealed, said he earns about $220 a week to carry out executions for the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
“In the cartel, a hitman always earns the same wage,” he said, “I might kill five people in a single day, but my pay remains the same. A life doesn’t cost much.”



A hitman claimed responsibility for over 250 killings and stated that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel executed more than 500 people at a death camp in western Mexico, during an interview with Italian television RAI. Tg1Rai/X

The Italian outlet revealed that the killer had been in contact with the Jalisco Search Warriors, a collective of volunteers, and alerted it to the alleged extermination site.
“They’ll never find them,” he said. “If they keep searching, they might find more bodies in the area surrounding the ranch.”
According to the Mexican government, the ranch had been used since 2021 by the cartel, which is designated as a terrorist organization by the US government.

The site was initially discovered by the National Guard in September 2024 during a raid that led to the arrest of 10 cartel members. Two kidnapping victims were rescued and a dead body was also found, but the Jalisco prosecutor’s office downplayed the discovery as just a training site for the cartel.

Jalisco Search Warriors leader Indira Navarro told The Post on Thursday that she first learned of Rancho Izaguirre in February 2025 after receiving anonymous phone calls from kidnapping victims, who were lured with job offers but managed to flee, as well as information from the cartel hitman.
A visit on March 5, 2025 proved to be embarrassing for the Mexican government after Navarro and volunteers uncovered hundreds of clothing items and human bone fragments. The bone parts were transferred to the Jalisco state prosecutor’s office, but have yet to be linked to any missing persons.

Mexico’s federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR) took over the case and convicted the 10 cartel members and sentenced them each to 141 years in prison in July 2025.
This week the federal prosecutor’s office rejected the cartel assassin’s Italian television tell-all.
“Regarding a video in which an alleged member of a criminal group claims to have carried out a mass incineration of people at the property known as Rancho Izaguirre, located in the state of Jalisco, the FGR states that this claim is false,” it said Wednesday, adding that forensics work had been done on 92% of the site.

However, Navarro disputed the federal prosecutor’s assessment, saying the hitman’s tips had led volunteers to locations where human remains appeared to have been burned.
“He was one of the witnesses who provided us with information,” said Navarro, who claims that thousands of human remains have been located. “Why do I remember him? Because he contacted us again later in [June 2026], and his voice was very distinctive — unmistakable.”
He also told the group to go to another location in April 2025, in a neighboring municipality called Ahualulco de Mercado, where Navarro said many bodies had been burned and more than 1,000 body fragments were found.
“At that time, we found a vast number of charred human remains there,” she said.
Navarro said that she has not been in contact with the state and federal attorney general offices since the cartel hitman’s interview.

233 years after her execution, the revolutionary lies endure. Her final letter reveals a Catholic mother whose dignity survived the hatred of her executioners.

At half past four in the morning on October 16, 1793, a thirty-seven-year-old woman sat in a prison cell in Paris, writing a final letter to her sister-in-law. Her husband had been guillotined nine months earlier. Her children had been taken from her. She had just been condemned to death by a revolutionary tribunal whose proceedings included one of the most disgusting accusations ever directed against a mother.

Within hours, she would be carried through the streets of Paris to the guillotine, her hands bound behind her back, while crowds gathered to watch the execution of a woman they had been taught to despise.

She was Marie Antoinette, Queen of France.

And 233 years later, an astonishing number of people still believe the lies told about her.

Ask the average person what he knows about Marie Antoinette and he will probably mention extravagant dresses, lavish parties, enormous spending, and that infamous remark about starving peasants eating cake. Perhaps he remembers a spoiled Austrian princess who cared nothing for the suffering of ordinary Frenchmen and whose execution was an understandable consequence of her own selfishness.

It is a remarkably successful piece of historical character assassination.

The woman who supposedly told starving peasants to eat cake never said any such thing. The queen depicted as a depraved monster was subjected to an organized campaign of obscene libels, sexual slanders, and political caricatures. Her enemies eventually accused her of committing incest with her own eight-year-old son.

And when they finally dragged her before the Revolutionary Tribunal, the outcome was scarcely in doubt.

The French Revolution had already murdered her husband, Louis XVI, on January 21, 1793. It would proceed to destroy much of the Catholic religious order of France, persecute faithful priests, and send thousands of men and women to their deaths in the name of liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Marie Antoinette became one of its most famous victims.

Her story deserves to be rescued from the revolutionary mythology that has obscured it for more than two centuries.

The Austrian Princess Who Became France’s Scapegoat
Marie Antoinette was born in Vienna on November 2, 1755, the daughter of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria and Emperor Francis I.

She was fourteen when she married the future Louis XVI in 1770, a diplomatic union intended to strengthen relations between the Austrian Habsburgs and the French Bourbons.

Consider that age for a moment.

Fourteen.

An adolescent girl was sent from her family and homeland into the elaborate, unforgiving world of Versailles, where her every movement was scrutinized, court etiquette governed the smallest details of daily life, and political factions were eager to exploit the slightest mistake.

She was expected to produce an heir, satisfy the demands of French court society, represent Austrian interests without appearing excessively Austrian, and somehow acquire the political judgment of a seasoned statesman.

She made mistakes. Some were foolish, others costly.

Marie Antoinette enjoyed fashionable clothing, gambling, theatrical entertainments, and the company of a relatively small circle of friends. Her retreat at the Petit Trianon encouraged resentment among courtiers excluded from her private world. Her political judgment could be poor, and her influence over royal appointments occasionally provoked justified criticism.

The Bourbon court was expensive. France’s financial problems were real.

Yet the country’s fiscal crisis had developed over decades, aggravated by war debts, an inequitable tax system, resistance to reform, and the enormous cost of supporting the American Revolution.

Marie Antoinette neither created those structural problems nor possessed the authority to solve them single-handedly.
The queen’s spending became a convenient symbol for a much larger crisis.

And because she was Austrian, she could be portrayed as a foreign enemy operating inside the French monarchy.
The nickname l’Autrichienne became a weapon. Revolutionary propaganda exploited the resemblance between that designation and an obscene French insult.

Her nationality, her sex, her marriage, and her position at court all became material for the campaign against her.
The hatred was already being cultivated years before the monarchy fell.

The Most Famous Words She Never Spoke



Everybody knows Marie Antoinette said, “Let them eat cake.”

There is one small problem.

She didn’t.

The familiar French expression, Qu’ils mangent de la brioche, appears in Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Confessions, attributed to an unnamed great princess.

Rousseau wrote the relevant portion of his autobiography when Marie Antoinette was still a child in Austria, years before she arrived at Versailles.

There is no credible contemporary evidence that she ever uttered the remark.

Historian Nancy N. Barker examined the development of this legend in her 1993 study, “Let Them Eat Cake: The Mythical Marie Antoinette and the French Revolution,” published in The Historian. Barker demonstrated how the fictional remark became attached to the queen and helped sustain the popular caricature of a woman indifferent to the suffering of the poor.

The story’s later association with Marie Antoinette was particularly effective because it compressed an entire political accusation into a single memorable sentence.

A starving population begs for bread. A pampered queen suggests cake.

What more does anyone need to know?

Apparently very little, judging by how frequently the anecdote continues to appear in popular discussions of the French Revolution.

It is worth being precise here. The cake story was an older anecdote, and its later attachment to Marie Antoinette cannot simply be treated as a documented slogan circulated by revolutionary leaders in 1789. Its importance lies in the extraordinary durability of the hostile mythology surrounding her.

The lie has become more familiar than the truth.

And how many people who repeat it have ever read a single letter written by the queen herself?

The Pornographers of the Revolution
Long before Marie Antoinette appeared before a revolutionary tribunal, she had been tried and convicted in the popular imagination.

Clandestine pamphlets circulated throughout France depicting the queen as sexually depraved, politically treacherous, and morally corrupt. These publications, known as libelles, frequently combined political attacks with pornography.

The queen was accused of adultery, lesbian relationships, promiscuity, and participation in grotesque sexual adventures. Her relationships with female companions, particularly the Duchess of Polignac, were transformed into lurid fantasies. Political enemies circulated accusations of incest involving members of the royal family.

There was another rather extraordinary hypocrisy in all this. Some of the intellectual currents that helped prepare the Revolution had spent decades attacking the restraints of Christian morality. The Marquis de Sade, who participated in revolutionary political life, carried sexual libertinism to its most revolting extremes. Yet the queen’s enemies discovered a sudden and convenient enthusiasm for sexual virtue whenever an accusation of adultery, lesbianism, or incest could be directed against Marie Antoinette.

Apparently, the old Catholic moral order was an intolerable tyranny, but the manufactured sexual indiscretions of a Catholic queen were sufficient grounds for portraying her as a monster. The contradiction seems to have troubled remarkably few of her persecutors.

The revolutionary factions, of course, differed in their attitudes toward sexual morality. Robespierre cultivated an image of stern republican virtue, while other figures were considerably more libertine. But that makes the exploitation of pornographic calumny against Marie Antoinette all the more revealing. The queen’s supposed depravity was useful to men whose own moral philosophies could scarcely have been more different.

Historians such as Robert Darnton, Lynn Hunt, and Chantal Thomas have examined this literature and its relationship to revolutionary political culture. The allegations were frequently contradictory, sometimes fantastical, and almost invariably degrading. Their purpose was to make the queen contemptible, reducing the wife of Louis XVI to a collection of obscene fantasies that could be circulated, embellished, and repeated until the public scarcely remembered there was a human being behind them.

Her alleged sexuality became evidence of corruption at the heart of the monarchy. The supposed vices of one woman were invoked to discredit an entire political and social order.

And there was no need for every pamphleteer to belong to some centrally directed conspiracy. The surviving literature reveals something more disturbing: a thriving market for the humiliation of a royal woman, fed by political hatred and a public increasingly eager to believe the worst.

By the time the monarchy collapsed, years of slander had done their work. The real Marie Antoinette, with her faults, her virtues, her husband, and her children, had largely disappeared beneath the caricature.

The Revolution would eventually put the queen to death. Its pornographers had already done their best to murder her reputation.

The Diamond Necklace and the Queen Who Never Bought It
Perhaps the most revealing scandal of Marie Antoinette’s reign involved an extravagant diamond necklace.

In 1785, a criminal scheme involving Jeanne de La Motte and Cardinal Louis de Rohan produced one of the most notorious scandals in eighteenth-century France.

The necklace was extraordinarily expensive. Its creators had struggled to find a buyer.

La Motte deceived Cardinal de Rohan into believing that the queen wished to acquire the jewels secretly and that he could restore himself to royal favor by acting as an intermediary.

The scheme involved forged correspondence and even a nighttime impersonation of the queen.

The necklace was obtained and its diamonds dispersed.

Marie Antoinette had neither commissioned the transaction nor authorized the fraud.

Yet the scandal inflicted serious damage upon her reputation.

The public already believed the queen capable of limitless extravagance. The fact that she had been the victim of an elaborate deception did little to overcome that prejudice.

The episode offers a useful lesson about revolutionary mythology.

A scandal can become politically effective even when its central accusation collapses.

Marie Antoinette was innocent of the necklace fraud. Nevertheless, her enemies exploited the affair as further proof of the corruption they had spent years attributing to her.

The details mattered less than the impression left behind.

The October Mob and the End of Versailles



The Palace of Versailles

On October 5, 1789, crowds marched from Paris to Versailles amid severe bread shortages and mounting political unrest.
The following morning, violence erupted at the palace.

Members of the crowd entered the royal apartments. Guards were killed, and Marie Antoinette narrowly escaped.
The king and queen were compelled to leave Versailles and return to Paris, where they would live under increasing revolutionary control at the Tuileries Palace.

It was an unmistakable humiliation of the monarchy.

The royal family had become, in practical terms, prisoners of the Revolution.

Among those who recognized the significance of these events was Edmund Burke, the Anglo-Irish statesman whose Reflections on the Revolution in France appeared in 1790.

Burke was no French Catholic royalist. He was an Anglican politician and a member of the British Parliament.

Yet he understood something that the Revolution’s admirers seemed determined to overlook.

A political movement that claimed to liberate mankind was already demonstrating a frightening appetite for intimidation, humiliation, and bloodshed.

Burke’s account of the October violence emphasized the mortal danger faced by Marie Antoinette when attackers entered her apartments.

He also lamented the destruction of the moral and social restraints that had once surrounded royalty, womanhood, and public honor.

His criticism was especially powerful because it came from outside the French Catholic establishment.

A Protestant statesman could recognize the barbarity being committed against a Catholic queen.

The revolutionaries who proclaimed themselves apostles of enlightenment had rather more difficulty doing so.

The Revolution Turns Against the Church
The persecution of Marie Antoinette cannot be separated from the Revolution’s increasingly ferocious assault upon the Catholic Church.

In 1790, the National Assembly enacted the Civil Constitution of the Clergy, attempting to reorganize the Church in France under the authority of the revolutionary state.

Bishops and priests were required to swear an oath to the new ecclesiastical arrangement.

Many refused.

Their resistance was grounded in the conviction that the state possessed no authority to remake the Church’s spiritual government according to revolutionary political principles.

Pius VI condemned the legislation in 1791.

The consequences were severe.

Faithful priests were removed from their positions, forced into hiding, imprisoned, or driven into exile. Religious communities were suppressed, ecclesiastical property confiscated, and traditional Catholic institutions subjected to systematic disruption.
During the September Massacres of 1792, imprisoned priests were among those slaughtered by revolutionary mobs.

The subsequent Reign of Terror brought still greater persecution.

The Revolution’s attempt to establish a new political order had become inseparable, in the hands of its radical leaders, from an effort to uproot the public authority of the Catholic religion.

This is the context in which the queen’s final declaration of faith must be understood.

By October 1793, fidelity to the Roman Catholic Church could involve serious personal danger. Priests who rejected the revolutionary ecclesiastical settlement risked arrest and death.

Marie Antoinette understood the difference between the Catholic Church and the religious establishment the revolutionary government sought to control.

Her last letter would make that distinction painfully clear.

The Mother They Stripped of Her Children



After the monarchy was overthrown in August 1792, the royal family was imprisoned in the Temple.

Louis XVI was executed the following January.

Marie Antoinette remained imprisoned with her daughter Marie-Thérèse, her young son Louis-Charles, and her sister-in-law Madame Élisabeth.

The children were now fatherless.

Their mother could offer them little protection.

On July 3, 1793, the revolutionary authorities ordered the separation of Louis-Charles from his mother.

He was eight years old.

The boy was placed under the supervision of Antoine Simon, a shoemaker appointed to oversee his revolutionary reeducation.

The separation devastated Marie Antoinette.

She pleaded to retain her son, but the authorities were unmoved.

The child who had once been heir to the French throne became an instrument in the political campaign against his own family.
Under the influence and pressure of his custodians, Louis-Charles was induced to make accusations against his mother and aunt.

Those accusations would eventually be introduced at Marie Antoinette’s trial.

One can scarcely imagine a more calculated cruelty.

The Revolution had killed the boy’s father, imprisoned his mother, and deprived him of the ordinary security of family life.

Now his words under duress were to be used to dishonor the woman who had borne him.

The political significance was obvious.

Destroy the queen’s reputation as a mother, and even the natural sympathy ordinarily extended to a woman facing execution might be weakened.

It was a hideous enterprise.

And the men responsible conducted it while claiming to represent the moral regeneration of humanity.

A Trial That Exposed the Revolution’s Own Depravity



On October 14, 1793, Marie Antoinette appeared before the Revolutionary Tribunal.

She was thirty-seven, exhausted by imprisonment, and suffering from deteriorating health.

Her hair had reportedly turned substantially gray during her captivity.

The charges included financial misconduct, correspondence with foreign enemies, and conspiracy against the security of France.

Some of the political allegations rested upon genuine historical circumstances. Marie Antoinette had communicated with foreign powers and supported efforts to preserve or restore royal authority. Her correspondence with the Austrian diplomat Florimond-Claude, Count of Mercy-Argenteau, and other figures belongs to the documented political history of the Revolution.

She was a queen seeking to preserve a threatened monarchy, and she opposed revolutionary policies that endangered her husband, her children, and the institution to which her family belonged.

The French Ministry of Justice’s own historical account describes the weakness of the prosecution’s evidentiary case. Her lawyers received little time to prepare, and the witnesses offered scant serious proof supporting the sweeping accusations.

The ministry’s account even characterizes her as an accused person whose guilt had effectively been predetermined.

Then came the allegation that revealed the moral character of the proceedings.

Jacques Hébert, one of the Revolution’s most notorious radical journalists, introduced accusations of sexual misconduct involving Marie Antoinette and her young son.

The charge was monstrous.

When initially confronted with it, she remained silent.

Pressed to respond, she appealed to the mothers present in the courtroom, declaring in substance that nature itself recoiled from such an accusation against a mother.

For a moment, the ordinary instincts of humanity seem to have broken through the political atmosphere.

The accusation reportedly stirred sympathy among women who otherwise had little affection for the former queen.

There is a bitter irony here.

The revolutionaries had spent years accusing Marie Antoinette of moral corruption. Yet when the moment arrived to destroy her, they resorted to an accusation so revolting that even some of their own spectators recoiled.

A woman had to defend herself against the suggestion that she had sexually abused her own child.

And the accusers called this justice.

The historical record allows us to distinguish between the queen’s genuine political opposition to the Revolution and the vile personal accusations manufactured to disgrace her.

The former belongs to political history.

The latter belongs among the most shameful episodes of the Terror.

The Catholic Queen and Her Final Profession of Faith
The tribunal condemned Marie Antoinette to death in the early hours of October 16.

She returned to her confinement and asked for writing materials.

At approximately 4:30 a.m., she began a letter addressed to Madame Élisabeth, the sister of Louis XVI.

The document is among the most moving surviving testimonies of the French Revolution.

Its authenticity is well established, and reproductions of the French text survive in historical collections, including material catalogued by the Musée Carnavalet in Paris.

The letter deserves to be read carefully.

Marie Antoinette expresses grief at leaving her children, concern for her sister-in-law, and hope that her son and daughter will remain united in affection.

She asks that her son never seek revenge for the deaths of his parents.

This is an extraordinary request from a woman whose husband had been executed and who was about to suffer the same fate.

She also addresses the terrible accusations involving her son, asking Élisabeth to forgive the child and remember how easily a boy of his age could be manipulated.

Here was a mother, facing execution, worrying about the spiritual and emotional welfare of the child whose coerced accusations had helped humiliate her.

She then makes her final profession of Catholic faith.

I die in the Catholic Apostolic and Roman religion, that of my fathers, that in which I was brought up, and which I have always professed. Having no spiritual consolation to look for, not even knowing whether there are still in this place any priests of that religion (and indeed the place where I am would expose them to too much danger if they were to enter it but once), I sincerely implore pardon of God for all the faults which I may have committed during my life. I trust that, in His goodness, He will mercifully accept my last prayers, as well as those which I have for a long time addressed to Him, to receive my soul into His mercy.

I beg pardon of all whom I know, and especially of you, my sister, for all the vexations which, without intending it, I may have caused you. I pardon all my enemies the evils that they have done me. She had lost her husband, her throne, her liberty, and the companionship of her children.

She remained a Catholic.

And she understood that the priests available through the revolutionary authorities might be separated from the legitimate ecclesiastical order to which she remained faithful.

She wrote of her inability to obtain spiritual consolation and of the danger that faithful priests might face if they attempted to visit her.

There is no theatrical defiance in the letter. She asks God to forgive her sins and receive her soul in His mercy.

The Church has made no such declaration concerning Marie Antoinette.

Her earlier life contained faults, and the historical record gives us no authority to pronounce upon the final state of her soul.

But Catholic history contains many examples of men and women whose spiritual character became clearer through suffering.
The woman who had once enjoyed the glittering pleasures of Versailles was now concerned with repentance, mercy, her children’s souls, and the forgiveness of her enemies.

Whatever judgment one makes about her political conduct, there is something profoundly Catholic about the way she prepared for death.

The Road to the Guillotine



Later that morning, Marie Antoinette was prepared for execution.

Her hair was cut short. Her hands were bound behind her back.

Unlike Louis XVI, who had been taken to his execution in a carriage, she was transported in an open cart.

The distinction was deliberate and humiliating.

The former Queen of France was exposed to the crowds as she traveled through Paris toward the Place de la Révolution, today’s Place de la Concorde.

Accounts of her final journey differ in some details, and the familiar stories surrounding her last moments have accumulated embellishments over time.

One famous anecdote claims that she accidentally stepped on the executioner’s foot and apologized. Although widely repeated, the precise wording is difficult to establish from secure contemporary evidence.

There is no need to improve upon the facts.

The familiar account emphasizes the overthrow of absolutism, the abolition of feudal privileges, the assertion of legal equality, and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen.

These developments deserve historical examination on their own terms.

France possessed serious social and political problems. Its taxation system was inequitable, its fiscal arrangements required reform, and legitimate grievances existed among ordinary people.

Acknowledging those grievances, however, does nothing to excuse the revolutionary persecution that followed.

The Revolution eventually produced a political culture in which the execution of a king, the public humiliation of his widow, and the imprisonment of their children could be presented as acts of national regeneration.

The persecution of the Catholic Church was particularly revealing.

The revolutionary authorities claimed an extraordinary degree of power over religious life. They attempted to reorganize the Church, compelled oaths from priests, confiscated ecclesiastical property, and punished those who remained faithful to the Church’s legitimate spiritual authority.

Later, radical de-Christianizing campaigns attacked Catholic worship itself.

The Vendée became the scene of terrible violence as republican forces suppressed a predominantly Catholic and royalist uprising.

The extent, classification, and precise responsibility for the atrocities committed there remain subjects of historical debate. The scale of civilian suffering and the brutality of the repression are beyond serious dispute.

A revolution that proclaimed universal rights had proved capable of trampling upon the most elementary rights of those it regarded as enemies.

Marie Antoinette’s execution belongs within this larger history.

Her death was the destruction of a particular woman, with a particular family, whose humanity had been obscured by years of propaganda.

The queen had become a symbol.

The symbol had to die.

And once the killing was complete, the revolutionary mythology could continue doing its work.

I want to return to that prison cell in the early hours of October 16.

Its survival gives us something infinitely more valuable than the revolutionary caricatures: the queen’s own words.

Here, in her final hours, Marie Antoinette speaks of her children, her grief at leaving them, her determination to forgive her enemies, and her unwavering adherence to the Catholic religion. She asks her son never to seek revenge for the deaths of his parents and pleads that he be forgiven for the accusations extracted from him during his captivity.

Perhaps most strikingly, she refuses to compromise her religious fidelity even as she prepares to die, explaining why she cannot accept the ministrations of a priest imposed upon her by the revolutionary authorities.

After more than two centuries of calumny, the woman whom the Revolution portrayed as a monster deserves to be heard in her own words.

And let my son in his turn render to his sister all the care and all the services which affection can inspire. And beneath all this remains the historical reality of a woman who suffered the loss of her husband, her children, her freedom, and finally her life.

Marie Antoinette deserves a fair hearing.

She was a daughter of the Habsburgs, a Queen of France, a mother, and a Catholic. Her political conduct can be examined critically without accepting the propaganda manufactured to destroy her reputation. Her faults can be acknowledged without pretending that they justified her execution.

Nor must we canonize her ourselves to recognize the spiritual beauty of her final hours.

The Church has given us saints whose heroic virtue has been formally recognized. Marie Antoinette belongs to a different category: a historical Catholic woman whose final testimony offers a moving example of faith under persecution.

Her last letter should be read alongside the revolutionary accusations, because it exposes the immense distance between the woman who actually existed and the monster her enemies invented.

The anniversary of her death offers an opportunity to remember the real queen.

On October 16, 1793, the Revolution took her life. It had already taken her husband and her children. What remained was a woman asking God to forgive her sins, pardoning her enemies, and commending her family to divine mercy.

For all the Revolution’s grand declarations about human dignity, it is Marie Antoinette who emerges from those final hours with her dignity intact.

Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Agreements where states take back their migrants or intercept crossings reduced arrivals in the destination countries by between 58 per cent and 93 per cent, according to the analysis by the Henry Jackson Society (HJS).

The findings remained consistent across deals involving the UK with Albania, the EU with Turkey and Tunisia, Italy with Libya, and Spain with Morocco. It also showed deaths during attempted crossings decreased by more than half following the migrant deals.

The HJS report, published on Sunday, said it demonstrated that such deals could provide a significant deterrent in reducing the incentive for migrants to cross either the Channel or the Mediterranean.

The report recommended that ministers convene a Royal Commission to consider whether to withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), even temporarily, if European judges continued to use it as a block to removals. Human-rights legal challenges played a key role in thwarting the Rwanda plan.

It also said the UK-Albania deal should be used as a template for returns agreements with the main countries of origin for migrants to the UK. The UK should offer aid and debt relief to countries that co-operated but withhold aid and visas from those that did not.

Michael McManus, the report’s author, said, “The collapse of the France deal leaves Britain without the deterrence it needs. The evidence from across Europe is clear: when deals with third countries are enforced at scale, crossings fall and fewer people die at sea.

“Britain proved it with Albania. Rwanda and the France scheme didn’t fail because the idea was wrong. They failed because a deal that never operates at scale deters no one.”

The UK-Albania deal paved the way for fast-track deportations of asylum seekers, visa overstayers and foreign-national offenders back to Albania, greater sharing of intelligence and officers placed in each other’s country to target people smuggling. The UK also provided millions in aid and support for its criminal justice system.

The deal in 2022 saw the number of Albanian small boat migrants fall by 93% from 12,658 in that year, to 927 in 2023 and down to just nine in the first quarter of this year.

The report said, “It would seem that, based on just the numbers alone, a deal targeted at tackling illegal migration and spurious asylum claims from nationals of a safe country was a success.”

It added the weakness was that it only concerned Albanian nationals rather than other big Channel migrant countries such as Eritrea, Iran, Sudan and Afghanistan.

The EU-Turkey agreement–where Turkey agreed to stop migrants crossing into Europe via its territory and to take back any caught after reaching the EU–saw migrant arrivals decrease from a peak of 182,277 in 2016 to as low as 20,280 in 2020. This year there were just 8,680.

A cooperation agreement between Spain and Morocco in 2022 saw the number of migrants entering Spain from the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla more than halved from a peak of 10,538 in 2021 to consistently below 4,000 in subsequent years.

Italy’s deal with Libya aimed to tackle trafficking and smuggling, support reception centres in Libya, and provide support so Libya could strengthen its land and maritime borders. It saw migrants’ crossings on the central Mediterranean route fall by 80% from 181,376 in 2016 to 23,485 in 2018.

A similar deal between the EU and Tunisia was struck five years later after migrants started using the country as a launchpad to reach Europe. The agreement saw migrant crossings on the central Mediterranean route fall from 158,000 in 2023 to just over 66,000 in 2024 and again in 2025.

A Home Office spokesman said, “We continue to work closely with a wide range of international partners to strengthen returns agreements, stop small boat crossings and go after the criminal gangs behind this evil trade.

“Our partnership with France alone has prevented more than 50,000 crossings since the election. This builds on the removal of over 80,000 illegal migrants and foreign criminals in the same period–a 52% increase on the two years prior.

“At the same time, we are reforming our human rights laws to prevent them being abused, and we are perfectly prepared to issue sanctions to countries whenever they refuse to co-operate on returns.”

The firefly model, however, suggests we might first identify an artificial signal simply by its structural properties. The team's simulations showed that such optimized artificial signals would occupy a distinct niche in the relationship between pattern complexity and energy use, separate from the bulk of natural pulsar emissions. This provides a new mathematical fingerprint for which future SETI surveys could search.
The quieting Earth and the future of SETI

The research touches on another sobering reality for radio-based SETI: Earth itself is growing quieter. The shift from powerful broadcast radio and television towers to directed cable, fiber-optic and satellite communications means our own planetary radio signature is fading. A civilization just a few hundred years more advanced might have moved entirely beyond the radio window we've been diligently monitoring.
This underscores the paper's central argument: Clinging to one technological paradigm is myopic. If alien civilizations exist, they may have progressed through a brief radio phase eons ago and now communicate via technologies we are only beginning to conceive.
The proposal that aliens might communicate in flashes of light is, for now, a sophisticated thought experiment. The researchers freely admit there is no evidence that such signals exist. Map shows cities in ICE’s planned $100M intelligence network

The Trump Administration is considering a nationwide intelligence operation to bolster Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportation efforts, with $100 million plans to deploy more than 140 specialists to analyze classified and unclassified information from locations across the country, federal procurement records show.

The proposed program, known as Enforcement and Removal Operations Overwatch and National Security Enforcement (ERO One), would provide intelligence and analytical support to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division.

ICE anticipates needing approximately 142 Intelligence Research Specialists and two project managers at headquarters and designated field locations across the country, the records show.

A spokesman for ICE told Newsweek that “due to the exponential increase of threats and violence against personnel, ERO is now operationalizing the Overwatch program.”

Supporters say ERO One would give immigration officers greater intelligence support to identify enforcement targets, assess public safety threats and improve officer safety. Critics, however, warn that ICE’s ability to analyze sensitive information could significantly expand the agency’s domestic surveillance capabilities.

The notice says the specialists would conduct work including all-source analysis, threat and trend analysis, and network and relationship analysis.

Newsweek has listed the locations identified by ICE in the procurement documents and the planned distribution of intelligence specialists across the country.

They include Atlanta, Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Harlingen, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Newark, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Paul, Washington, D.C., Williston, Vermont, and Laguna Niguel, California.

The largest allocations listed in the documents are 15 specialists at
- Potomac Center North in Washington, D.C.

- 12 at the National Criminal Analysis and Targeting Center in Williston, Vermont

- 12 at the Law Enforcement Support Center in Williston

- 9 at the Pacific Enforcement Response Center in Laguna Niguel, California

The remaining positions are distributed among ICE areas of responsibility around the country.

What Would ERO ONE Do?
According to the Statement of Work, specialists would research and analyze information from authorized sources, identify trends, patterns, and relationships, assess threats and intelligence gaps, and prepare intelligence products and briefings.

The work may involve information from multiple classified and unclassified sources, as well as law-enforcement sensitive information, personally identifiable information, operational information, and other protected government information.

The procurement documents say contractor personnel could be required to hold Top Secret Clearances and be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.

One part of the proposal calls for “network, link, and relationship analysis.”

The Statement of Work says specialists would conduct research to identify and assess relationships among individuals, organizations, locations, events, activities, data points, and other entities relevant to established ERO intelligence requirements.

Analysts could examine known, reported, or potential relationships, recurring patterns, organizational structures, associations, and geographic or temporal connections.

The document says contractors would provide analytical support only and would not have authority to make final decisions on investigations, targeting, enforcement, detention or other government actions. Those decisions would remain with government officials.

ERO oversees immigration enforcement, including arrests, detention and removals. Homeland Security Investigations, ICE’s other main operational arm, focuses on transnational crime and criminal investigations. Both divisions have played key roles in President Donald Trump’s nationwide deportation campaign.

ICE said the Enforcement and Removal Operations Overwatch Program would work with HSI and the agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility to identify and report threats against officers, civilian personnel, contractors, detainees, and facilities.

Scott Mechowski, a former ICE deputy field office director in New York and visiting fellow for the Mass Deportation Coalition, told Newsweek that “ERO has relied on intelligence for years.”

“Targeting, officer safety, and tracking transnational criminals and public safety threats all depend on knowing who you’re dealing with before your officers knock on a door,” Mechowski said. “Officers and field offices are drowning in leads and data, and analysts are what turn that into something usable. Adding trained analysts who can do the research lets deportation officers spend more time doing the actual enforcement.”

Ricky Murray, a former senior official at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, said the program reflects a broader push to use technology to bring together government data and support immigration enforcement decisions.

“Government immigration systems contain extraordinary amounts of information, often spread across databases that do not communicate particularly well with one another,” Murray told Newsweek. “Technology that can connect these systems and identify relevant information could dramatically improve efficiency.”

But Murray cautioned that the reliability of the underlying information and how it is interpreted would be crucial. “The danger is that technology can give questionable information an appearance of certainty simply because it was generated through a sophisticated analytical system,” he said.

“It must also be how accurately that information is interpreted, how thoroughly conclusions are verified, and whether appropriate safeguards exist before those conclusions affect someone’s life.”

An ICE spokesman said, “ICE protects America through criminal investigations and enforcing immigration laws to preserve national security and public safety and employs technology and intelligence techniques to identify, locate and arrest national security and public safety threats.

“ICE and its partners need to stay ahead of criminals and terrorists, which evolve just as rapidly as the technology they use to support their criminal activities. As authorities develop countermeasures, terrorist groups and cartels adapt with their own countermeasures, creating an ongoing cycle of tactical evolution.

“ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations intelligence-driven approach ensures that the agency continues to remove dangerous illegal aliens from the country while actively preventing future attacks through comprehensive intelligence collection and analysis.”

Jay Stanley, a senior policy analyst with the American Civil Liberties Union, told The American Prospect that the proposal looked “dangerously like the construction of an internal spying agency,” calling it “a nightmare in the making.”

The procurement documents describe ERO ONE as providing intelligence support for ERO operations involving national security, public safety, officer safety, and detention-related activities, with provisions governing privacy and protected information.

The program remains at the procurement stage:

Seventy percent (70%) of the asylum requests filed by the illegal migrants that invaded the Spanish exclave of Ceuta are now alleging persecution on the basis of their recently discovered homosexual orientation, a new report states.

Unnamed sources from Spain’s National Police disclosed to the newspaper ABC on Friday they have detected a not-so-discrete shift in how the invading migrants are trying to seek asylum in Ceuta.

Initially, and during the first month of the invasion, the migrants reportedly claimed alleged economic reasons in their asylum applications — including, but not limited to, claims of “not having a job or wanting to seek a better life in Spain.”

Hundreds of illegal migrants that stormed Ceuta staged a protest on Sunday demanding the Spanish government grants them asylum benefits.

However, the tactic appears to have shifted in recent weeks from economic reasons to allegations of persecution in Morocco based on their claimed sexual orientation. Per the newspaper, 95 percent of the total asylum applications filed by the invading migrants come from Moroccan nationals, with all other nationalities collectively representing the remaining five percent.

Islam is the largest religion in Morocco with more than 99 percent of the population adhering to it.

The sudden surge in sexual orientation persecution claims has reportedly prompted authorities to believe that the migrants are receiving some form of “advice” by third-party entities on what steps to take to achieve their goal of staying in Spain. The Spanish National Police reportedly suspects that unspecified non-government organizations may be behind the alleged “advice.”

As of mid-October, at least 19 known asylum claims are publicly known to have been granted to migrants that invaded Ceuta — five of which were confirmed by the police to have been on alleged sexual orientation persecution claims.

In total, asylum applications presented by the invading migrants reportedly have a 99 percent rejection rate, according to the information disclosed to ABC. A minor, 0.1 percent of all Moroccan “asylum seekers” have further taken their case before the National Court.

A denied asylum application, however, does not translate into the immediate deportation of the migrant from Ceuta or Spain, as the individual must be officially notified by authorities — a procedural step that, according to the newspaper, has led to migrants abandoning the refugee center they were housed in, hiding in mountains, neighborhoods, or even in homes, making it harder for the police to determine their whereabouts.

Per the police sources, it is believed the alleged asylum seekers “circulate among themselves” any information and motives that they believe will have the better chances towards a successful asylum application.

Asked for comment on the matter, a spokesperson from Spain’s Unified Police Union (SUP) told ABC that the organization is concerned over the sudden shift in the asylum applications and is aware that such tactics are being circulated.

While this cannot in itself prove “generalized fraud,” SUP noted that all corresponding verifications must be reinforced, emphasizing asylum is a benefit that must only protect those who actually suffer persecution and not become a pathway to bypass migration laws through the use of false statements.

Additionally, the police union called for more resources and specialists to expedite the processing of the asylum applications, stressing, “Because there’s no point in denying a request if the person then disappears and the police can’t locate them.”

ABC pointed out that while sexual relations between individuals of the same are in fact punished by the Moroccan Penal Code with prison time and this may lead to plausible grounds to seek asylum protection in Spain, “it is not enough to just say you are homosexual” to be granted asylum.

“It is not essential to have already been the victim of an assault or an arrest, but there must be a sufficiently substantiated risk,” ABC stressed.

Such cases, the newspaper explained, are assessed by Spanish authorities who determine whether there is in fact a well-founded fear of persecution based on sexual orientation if a so-called asylum seeker applicant were to return to Morocco. Verification involves a series of interviews overseen by police ofifcers and extensive questionnaires that can un as long as “15 pages.”

“The Office of Asylum and Refuge reviews each case. Specialists assess the consistency of the account, personal circumstances, possible threats or acts of violence, any documentation provided, and information about the situation in the country of origin,” the newspaper explained. “They may also request clarification when there are significant contradictions.”

Numerous instances of large numbers of migrants suddenly presenting asylum requests on alleged sexual orientation persecution are not a new phenomena, but rather, a frequently recurring practice across several European nations.

As Breitbart News pointed out in September, hundreds of migrants from Pakistan have made similar allegations to request asylum in the United Kingdom under the purported claim that they had to flee from their homeland because they are “gay.”

In April, a report from the BBC revealed the existence of a “shadow industry” helping migrants pretend to be gay to substantiate their asylum applications in Britain, alleging a purported persecution on basis of their sexual orientation back at home.

Wages in construction are rising as the nation’s labor market recovers from the flood of cheap and subsidized migrant labor imported by pro-migration policies before 2024, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The recovery — caused by President Donald Trump’s 2024 deportation mandate — is especially rapid in Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has used state police to deliver many illegal migrants to the federal deportation officers.

American construction workers in Florida who build the wooden frames for housing can now charge roughly $42 per hour, up from $20 per hour, Scott Brannock, president of Jacksonville-based Tidewater Homes and the Northeast Florida Builders Association, told the newspaper.

“We’re almost dead in the water because our [foreign migrant] workforce is gone,” he complained in the October 16 report.

“A September survey from the National Association of Home Builders found the cost of labor had increased a median of 4.2% from the previous year,” the newspaper reported.

The loss of migrant labor in Americans’ national labor is forcing CEOs to hire more Americans, the newspaper noted.

David Hacker, owner of subcontractor Construction Specialties of North Florida, “has seen a 70% reduction of crews available for certain jobs, forcing the leftover crews to double their rates in most cases [and] has also started a campaign to recruit new workers, offering significant cash bonuses for applications,” the newspaper wrote.

The deportations are good news for the millions of young citizens who have been pushed and pulled out of their national labor market, the Center for Immigration Studies reported in July:

If the same share of U.S.-born men (16 to 64) were in the labor force in 2026 as in 1960, there would be 9.2 million more U.S.-born men in the labor force. Even if the share returned only to the 2000 level, it would still add 4.5 million U.S.-born men to the labor force.

Even “prime-age”, U.S.-born men (25 to 54), the group most likely to work, have experienced a similar deterioration, from 4 percent not in the labor force in April 1960 to 8.5 percent in 2000 and 11.1 percent in April 2026.

Media sites in the construction sector also report rising wages and salaries as Trump gradually enforces Americans’ right to a national labor market.

“Construction pay is up again this year, and many tradespeople are starting to feel the shift on the jobsite,” TradeHounds.com reported in June:

Average hourly earnings for construction craft workers reached $38.97 in May 2026, up 5.0% year over year, compared to 3.6% for the broader private sector. Growth is strongest in nonresidential construction.

Nationwide, entry-level construction workers saw their wages rise by 16 percent during 2025, to $52,000, said a December 2025 report by The Birmingham Group:

The current labor shortage is driving unprecedented wage increases across commercial projects. Construction firms report difficulty filling critical positions, with some markets experiencing job opening-to-candidate ratios exceeding 3:1. This imbalance has created a seller’s market for skilled workers, enabling significant salary negotiations and competitive pay packages.

The wage gains also reflect the physical risk of a construction career, especially among Latino workers.

“Construction laborers, the crews who prep sites and move materials, face an injury rate more than twice the national average,” according to a new survey by Affordable Contractors Insurance. It added:

The total cases amount to 54.3K over the two years. Over two-thirds of these cases require time off, but in this trade, people rest less, usually 12 days or fewer.

The healing of the labor market is slower in Texas because the supply of Mexican labor has kept salaries near the bottom on the national ranking.

For example, average wages for Texas construction workers rose to $37 an hour in December 2025, according to data presented by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. That was up modestly from $36 per hour in December 2024.

Yet a group of Texas construction companies lobbied Republicans and reporters for more migrant labor in February, according to a Politico report that credulously touted their demands:

Johnny Vasquez, executive officer of the Rio Grande Valley Builders Association, noted that Hidalgo County turned red for the president in 2024 — an example of gains the GOP will lose if the policies don’t shift, he argued. “For me and for our association, we need workers, whether they’re American or not,” he said. “We just need workers.”

The rising wage gains come amid rising competition in house sales, putting a tighter squeeze on CEOs who have enjoyed decades of cheap labor and rising sales.

“The latest HMI survey found that 38% of builders cut prices in September, up from 35% in August [and] the average price cut remained at 6% for the sixth consecutive month,” said a September report by a trade newspaper, HBSDealer. The price cut was driven by rising mortgage costs, the site noted.

Meanwhile, so-called “moderate” Democrats and business groups are calling for more immigration to force cuts in Americans’ wages.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Friday a historic report revealing the lowest number of migrant arrests along the southwest border in agency history. Border Patrol agents apprehended fewer than 99,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry during the just-ended Fiscal Year 2026. This represents a 95 percent drop from the average of 1.8 million migrants per year during the Biden Border Crisis.

“President Trump promised the American people a secure border, and the data proves he delivered.

Over the past year, CBP recorded its lowest numbers in American history. A stark contrast to Biden, where CBP recorded its highest illegal immigration numbers ever,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “The results could not be clearer: strong enforcement works. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership and the hard work of CBP and DHS law enforcement personnel, we have restored control of the border and made America safer than ever.”

On day one of President Donald Trump’s second term, he signed a series of ten executive orders aimed at securing the U.S.-Mexico border and taking on the Mexican cartels, Breitbart Texas reported. His orders established a national state of emergency and provided additional resources for a whole-of-government approach to border security, illegal immigration, and drug trafficking enforcement activities.

Since then, border apprehensions fell from a peak of 249,740 in December 2023 to about 8,900 at the close of FY26 on September 30. This represents a fall from the peak of just over 96 percent.

“FY 2026 demonstrated what focused enforcement, strong partnerships, and the commitment of our frontline personnel can achieve,” said CBP Commissioner Rodney S. Scott. “DHS and CBP are securing the border, stopping dangerous drugs and criminals, protecting communities, and ensuring our personnel have the resources necessary for this critical mission.”

The DHS report confirms the unofficial number of apprehensions along the southwest border in September that Breitbart Texas reported earlier this week. The September apprehensions brought the FY26 total to just under 99,000 migrants who crossed between ports of entry. DHS officials called this the “lowest level in agency history.”

The Border Patrol, which completed its first-ever fiscal year with no releases, recorded less than 99,000 southwest border apprehensions in FY 2026—a 95% decline compared with more than 1.8 million per year under President Biden. Total FY 2026 apprehensions (98,708 ) were 60% lower than the Biden Administration’s single highest month alone (249,740).

Additionally, preliminary data shows total nationwide encounters in FY 2026 were the lowest in agency history at 379,243, compared with 2.7 million per year under Biden (seven times higher).

FY 2026 encounters were 88% lower than FY 2023 under Biden, which was the highest fiscal year ever.

In addition to the historically low numbers of migrant apprehensions, DHS officials stated that during the past 17 months, zero migrants were released by Border Patrol into the U.S. interior.

The close of Fiscal Year 2026 marks an unprecedented turning point in American border defense, proving that rigorous enforcement and zero-tolerance deterrence can systematically restore operational control to the southwest border. By pairing the complete elimination of “catch and release” policies with aggressive multi-agency enforcement, the Trump administration has effectively shattered the business model of transnational criminal networks that grew wealthy exploiting open-border vulnerabilities.



As official federal data confirms a staggering 95 percent decline in illegal crossings and 17 straight months of zero interior releases, the historical record demonstrates that strict adherence to the rule of law produces the most secure southern border in American history.

Two major Christian-identified charities took at least $62 million from government sources to resettle Somalians in Minnesota, precipitating a wave of theft, fraud, gang activity, crime and tribalism.

Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services exploited high-dollar government contracts and were instrumental in turning Minnesota into one of worst localities for fraud in America.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops, which oversees Catholic Charities, also raked in an astounding $140 million from the federal government to bring Somalians into Minnesota, the New York Post reported.

Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services (the latter of which has recently rebranded as “Global Refuge”) began their work after World War Two and initially worked to help resettle Christians who were displaced thanks to the great war. But now they work to push Muslims into the U.S. and other western nations, importing a religious Reich that would sooner see Catholicism and Lutheranism destroyed.

These groups began their efforts strictly on private funding, but in recent decades have turned to operating heavily dependent on government subsidies.

Since 1993, these two massive groups have resettled more than 29,000 Somalians into Minnesota and earned $2,500 in tax dollars per “refugee.” The federal and state governments provided these funds for benefits for the Somalians including food, clothing, legal assistance, healthcare, social workers, and housing.

Today, more than 100,000 Somalians live in and around Minneapolis, thanks to chain migration where one refugee is permitted to bring his entire extended family into our country free of charge.

“They picked Minnesota because it had extremely generous state social safety net policies and welfare programs, which of course made resettling refugees there easier,” Capital Research Center researcher Parker Thayer told the paper.

Thayer pointed out that few of these Somalians are actually “refugees” fleeing their homeland.

“A lot of these people, while claiming to be refugees, you look at their Facebook pages, or you look at indictments and find that they routinely travel out of the US back to the place they are supposedly a refugee from,” he said.

Thayer also blasted these purported charities for causing societal problems in the U.S., adding, “They’re creating multiple problems by resettling large numbers of people in one area at the same time they’re creating isolated ethnic enclaves across America, which seem to be causing some cultural problems.”

Those societal ills may finally be catching up to these disruptive charities. Several of them have begun laying off employees as donations have dropped and as the Trump administration has cut off the flow of free government money going into their coffers.

Catholic Charities, in particular, laid off hundreds of workers earlier this year in offices across the country.

Another huge source of cash being put to importing Muslims into the U.S. is the Mormon Church in Utah. In 2021, for instance, the church donated $5 million to help resettle foreign “refugees” into the U.S. And by 2021, the church had donated more than three million dollars to the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI).

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on Friday to comments made by former US president Barack Obama, in which he accused Israel of taking “land off people” and being “excessive,” referring to Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian people throughout the country’s history.
Obama made the comments during a visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Tuesday.
“The Jewish people are not foreign occupiers in the land of our forefathers,” Netanyahu said in a video posted to X/Twitter. “Our history is not a colonial enterprise. Our land is not stolen land. This is our homeland.”
Netanyahu called Obama’s Belfast comments a “regrettable statement,” emphasizing the connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel, noting its biblical name, “Judea.”

The group allegedly smuggled migrants from Mexico and Central and South America across the northern border before arranging drivers to transport them deeper into the United States. BlackRock is headed by Larry Fink, a prominent member of the TRILATERAL COMMISSION and co-CEO of the World Economic Forum. He has autocratic control over $15.49 trillion in assets, almost half of the US economy.

Fink says, “we are at the beginning of the tokenization of all assets” and on a single blockchain.

BlackRock ended the third quarter with $15.49 trillion in assets under management, a record, after $205 billion of net client inflows, according to its earnings release filed with the SEC on Oct. 14.

GAAP earnings came to $10.57 a share, and as-adjusted earnings to $15.93. Revenue rose 19 percent to $7.75 billion, and the company said it has raised $68 billion in private markets over the last twelve months. Its AI Infrastructure Partnership made its first deployment during the quarter.

Chairman and CEO Larry Fink said clients “entrusted us with $205 billion of net inflows this quarter, and $869 billion over the last year.” He added, “We’re entering our seasonally strongest fourth quarter with accelerating momentum.”

As the Epoch Times notes further, the company drew almost $135 billion in net new flows into its flagship iShares exchange-traded funds, also known as ETFs.

It also repurchased $550 million of its shares during the quarter, delivering stronger value to current shareholders.

“Market fundamentals are strong and well supported, with higher margins and earnings momentum catalyzed by new technology,” CEO Larry Fink said in a statement.

Looking ahead to the final three months of 2026, Fink noted that BlackRock has plenty of momentum and a broad pipeline of opportunities across multiple business segments, including private markets and retirement funds.

BlackRock popped as much as 5 percent following the earnings data but erased its gains as the midweek session progressed.

Private Credit Improvements
The private credit industry has been under tremendous strain this year, reflecting the so-called “SaaSpocalypse” and increasing concerns surrounding lenders’ exposure to software companies.

This was observed in the wave of redemption requests.

But BlackRock’s push into private credit markets does not seem affected by the sector’s widespread pressures.

In a call with analysts, CFO Martin Small suggested that investment demand for private credit has been solid.

Net inflows into its private credit funds rose by $5 billion from the previous quarter, according to the earnings report.

“We think there’s a much larger opportunity that’s more durable in delivering private high-grade private credit in for debt across our platform and just deepening our client relationships over time,” Small said.

Additionally, BlackRock’s client redemptions, which have been in focus for the broader industry since the start of 2026, have eased modestly.

Redemption requests for its Corporate Lending Fund fell to about 11.5 percent of shares in the latest quarter, down from 13.3 percent in the second quarter.

But while private credit stress appears to be dissipating, Moody’s warned the situation could be worse than reported default rates suggest.


“Asset quality risks are mounting among weaker middle market borrowers in the US private credit market as higher-for-longer interest rates, refinancing challenges, redemption pressures and persistent concerns over transparency weigh on performance,” the firm said in an Oct. 14 report.

Earnings Season So Far
Third-quarter earnings season started on Oct. 13, beginning with some of the big banks.

Tuesday’s results were mixed but not concerning, says Tom Essaye, president and co-founder of The Sevens Research Report.

“The results of those earnings were mixed, but none of the reports provided the type of surprise that would have impacted the broader market and the S&P 500,” Essaye said in a note emailed to The Epoch Times.

Oct. 14 was better, with Morgan Stanley, Progressive, and State Street beating Wall Street expectations on earnings per share.

Blackstone will be the next major investment manager to release its performance from the past three months.

The consensus estimate points to $1.46 in earnings per share and $3.65 billion in revenue, according to Trading Economics.

Federal officials are asking a judge to lift an injunction blocking ICE from detaining and deporting the Salvadoran national to the West African country. Ábrego Garcia's attorneys are fighting to make that protection permanent.

A Nigerian man forced to cook thousands of meals for the Unknown Gunmen, a militant group linked to political violence in Nigeria, is at the center of a Supreme Court showdown that could determine how broadly immigration authorities can apply a terrorism-related bar to asylum and how far the Trump administration can go in deporting immigrants accused of supporting terrorism.
The Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to hear the Trump administration's challenge to a ruling that overturned Nigerian citizen Izuchukwu Ozurumba's deportation order, setting up a legal battle over whether ordinary services provided to terrorist organizations, including cooking meals, can disqualify immigrants from receiving asylum even when those services are not directly connected to terrorist attacks.
Ozurumba was deported to Nigeria in April 2025 while his appeal was pending.

THE SUPREME COURT IS BACK; THESE FIVE CASES COULD RESHAPE AMERICAN LIFE

At the center of the case is a provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act that bars certain immigrants who provide "material support" to terrorist organizations from receiving asylum. The law lists examples of prohibited assistance, including transportation, communications, housing, money, weapons and training, but it does not explicitly define what constitutes material support.
"The biggest takeaway is that this is a case about who gets to draw the line on a law that affects national security," Bryce Poole, a senior legal fellow with Advancing American Freedom, told Fox News Digital. "Congress wrote a broad rule, and the court interpreted it narrowly."
The case also comes two years after the Supreme Court overturned Chevron deference, a legal doctrine that required judges to defer to federal agencies' reasonable interpretations of ambiguous laws. The 2024 ruling gave judges greater authority to decide what those laws mean.

The 4th Circuit, in a 2-1 ruling, overturned Ozurumba's deportation order and sent the case back to the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Judge James Wynn Jr., an Obama appointee, wrote the majority opinion, joined by Judge Nicole Berner, a Biden appointee. The judges concluded that, although Ozurumba prepared thousands of meals for the group's leaders, his cooking did not provide resources that could be directly used or readily redirected toward terrorist operations.
Although Ozurumba said he was forced to cook under threat of violence, the 4th Circuit did not decide whether the law contains an exception for assistance provided under duress, an issue the court previously addressed in a 2012 ruling that relied on Chevron deference. Instead, the majority found that his cooking for the terrorist organization did not qualify as "material support" that would bar him from asylum, leaving the separate duress question unresolved.

The Trump administration argued that the 4th Circuit interpreted the law too narrowly, insisting that even ordinary services such as cooking meals can help sustain a terrorist organization and free its members to carry out attacks.

"Because he's cooking the meals, one of the armed guards doesn't have to cook the meals and can be an armed guard," Poole said.
"That's one guard who doesn't have to come in off guard duty to cook meals, or that's one bomb maker who doesn't have to stop making bombs to go cook meals, because all this stuff is fungible."
Ozurumba said he initially agreed to work as a chef at a "rural camp," preparing three meals a day for 15 to 17 leaders. He later learned the camp belonged to the Unknown Gunmen.
An immigration judge determined that the Unknown Gunmen qualified as a "Tier III" terrorist organization under federal immigration law, even though the State Department had not formally designated the group as one.
Ozurumba said armed guards prevented him from leaving. According to court records, he cooked for the group's leaders for roughly six months, including three months without pay, before escaping during a trip into town to buy groceries.

Ozurumba said members of the Unknown Gunmen continued threatening and attacking him after his escape, prompting him to flee Nigeria for Venezuela and eventually the United States. He crossed the southern border without valid entry documents in July 2023 during the Biden administration and surrendered to Border Patrol agents.
An immigration judge denied Ozurumba's asylum request and ordered his deportation, a decision upheld by the Board of Immigration Appeals after finding that his cooking violated the federal material-support rule. The 4th Circuit later rejected that interpretation and sent the case back to the immigration board.
Judge Julius Richardson disagreed with the majority, arguing in his dissent that cooking thousands of meals for terrorist leaders freed them to focus on their organization's goals and therefore constituted material support.
"Ozurumba did not run a hot dog stand that the Unknown Gunmen happened to stop by once or twice," Richardson wrote. "Rather, he acted as a private chef, providing three meals a day for over a dozen leaders of a terrorist organization — for months."
Hans von Spakovsky, a legal expert with Advancing American Freedom, also argued that the majority misinterpreted the law.

"The idea that providing over 8,000 meals for the leaders of a terrorist organization and its members is not 'material' defies common sense," von Spakovsky told Fox News Digital. "Richardson correctly cites Napoleon’s famous quote that an 'army marches on its stomach.'

"Other federal appeals courts have all held that providing food and shelter, even if unconnected to a specific terrorist event, constitutes material support within the statute," von Spakovsky continued. "And doing so under duress, even if true, is not an excuse under the statute to avoid removal."
Even if the Supreme Court rules in his favor, a victory would not automatically grant him asylum or guarantee his return to the United States. His case would still need to be reconsidered by immigration authorities.
The 4th Circuit previously declined to order the government to bring him back, instead leaving it up to officials to decide whether his presence in the U.S. would be necessary for further proceedings.

Can cooking for terrorists bar asylum? Supreme Court takes up unusual case with broader immigration stakes
A Nigerian man forced to cook thousands of meals for the Unknown Gunmen, a militant group linked to political violence in Nigeria, is at the center of a Supreme Court showdown that could determine how broadly immigration authorities can apply a terrorism-related bar to asylum and how far the Trump administration can go in deporting immigrants accused of supporting terrorism.
The Supreme Court agreed Tuesday to hear the Trump administration’s challenge to a ruling that overturned Nigerian citizen Izuchukwu Ozurumba’s deportation order, setting up a legal battle over whether ordinary services provided to terrorist organizations, including cooking meals, can disqualify immigrants from receiving asylum even when those services are not directly connected to terrorist attacks.
Ozurumba was deported to Nigeria in April 2025 while his appeal was pending.
At the center of the case is a provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act that bars certain immigrants who provide “material support” to terrorist organizations from receiving asylum. The law lists examples of prohibited assistance, including transportation, communications, housing, money, weapons and training, but it does not explicitly define what constitutes material support.
“The biggest takeaway is that this is a case about who gets to draw the line on a law that affects national security,” Bryce Poole, a senior legal fellow with Advancing American Freedom, told Fox News Digital. “Congress wrote a broad rule, and the court interpreted it narrowly.”
He worked with the terrorists and claims it was involuntary. Still doesn’t mean the US has to give him asylum. Do we need to give every 3rd worlder who refuses to assimilate a life in the US, plus money, housing, healthcare, clothes, etc, for their story of woe? We have enough of them. He came here illegally in 2023, a judge quickly determined he did not qualify for asylum, and then, somehow, he was able to afford all these lawyers to help him stay in the US. He supposedly was not paid for months while cooking for the terrorists, then escaped, then was able to afford to go from Nigeria to Venezuela then trek to the US. That is not cheap.
How many times do we find that people let in on asylum end up being something else?
(American Thinker) Then it gets worse: Her dad didn’t qualify for refugee status, meaning, he didn’t qualify for U.S. citizenship. He apparently lied on his application forms about not being a part of the persecuting class of Somalia which created its civil war, and got into the country as a helpless refugee. Turns out he was suspected of being a warlord and henchman in the homicidal regime of Mohammed Siad Barre, whose thugs massacred 200,000 people and got Somalia into a full blown civil war.
That dad is Nur Omar Mohamed, the father of Ilhan Omar, who never should have been given refugee status then citizenship. And, since Ilhan was probably 18 at that time, she should not have gotten “derivative citizenship”, meaning she’s not a citizen and should not be a member of Congress. French Member of the European Parliament Marion Maréchal denounced the “taboo” around discussions of the underlying causes of the youth revolt spreading across the country, which she said is the failure to assimilate immigrant groups into French culture.

The demonstrations and riots ostensibly over a lack of school funding will hit their one-month anniversary this week, with mayhem and violence continuing despite thousands of arrests.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu told the Senate that 937 police officers and gendarmes, 149 school staff, and 248 students had been injured so far in the violent demonstrations.

Meanwhile, Minister of National Education Édouard Geffray revealed that 7,950 people have been arrested, including 6,773 minors, during the protests.

Appearing on La Chaîne Info, French MEP Marion Maréchal said that the establishment media and political class in Paris have failed to address the root causes of the unrest, which are not the issues facing the education system, but rather failures within the immigration system and the ability to integrate foreign populations, including those born in France, into the culture, such as in hotspots like the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, which has seen decades of mass migration from North Africa’s Maghreb region.

“The link between these acts of violence is, for me, yet another symptom of the mass, unassimilated immigration that expresses itself through high school student mobilisation, just as it would express itself through a PSG match won or lost, through Bastille Day, through a demonstration for Gaza,” she said.

The president of the Identité-Libertés group in the European Parliament added that there is a section of “youth from immigrant backgrounds that seizes the slightest pretext to unleash its hatred of France, its institutions, and the uniform.”

The French Ministry of the Interior has found that street violence has reached record levels fuelled in part by the violent student uprisings.

Maréchal, a scion of the Le Pen political dynasty, also surmised that violence is not a bug but a feature of the demonstrations, arguing that it is a “tool claimed by the far-left” as they seek a “convergence of struggles” to advance their Marxist, revolutionary agenda.

While legacy media has often attempted to portray the riots as merely organic demonstrations of angered students, there have been indications from the start of far-left infiltration. A report from the intelligence arm of the Paris Police Prefecture accused the radical left La France Insoumise (France in Rebellion/LFI) party of presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon of having stoked and manipulated student groups into rioting.

This link between the far-left, the myriad of international causes, and the long-term impact of immigration has been cited by others, including Reconquête MEP Sarah Knafo, who remarked earlier this month: “What’s the connection between the supposed demands of the high school students and the Algerian, Moroccan, and Palestinian flags? What’s the connection with the ‘in the name of Allah’ chants we hear in so many videos?

“The connection to immigration is the elephant in the room that journalists don’t want to see!”

Knafo has been a leading voice backing the “vandals pay” proposal currently moving through the French legislature, which would impose fines of up to €10,000 per participant in violent and destructive riots, including those who could not be proven to have caused any damage. Knafo has said that the “thugs” and their families should be on the hook, not the taxpayers, vowing: “We will deduct this money from every single paycheck they receive, from the benefits their parents receive.”

Others outside of France have also made a connection between the riots and immigration, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who said last week: “What’s happening in France is nothing less than out of control mass migration. This isn’t about schools, this is about Islam wanting to take over a once great Country!”

The Democrat nominee for Wisconsin secretary of state proudly stated her “number one priority” is to get driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants — a crusade she has been on for over a decade.

JoCasta Zamarripa, a former Wisconsin state legislator and current member of the Milwaukee Common Council, told WMTV’s Vanessa Kjeldsen this week, “My number one priority is to see the governor sign driver’s licenses for undocumented Wisconsinites into law. Zamarripa continued on in the interview, saying “Driver’s licenses for undocumented Wisconsinites is going to improve the public safety of all Wisconsinites, whether they’re fifth-generation U.S. citizens, or brand-new newly-arrived immigrants.”

This was not the first time the secretary-of-state-hopeful has brought up licensing for illegal aliens. In 2015, she sponsored a bill in the Wisconsin Assembly that would “provide driver’s licenses to thousands of immigrants in Wisconsin who lack a social security number because they are undocumented or are in the process of adjusting their status,” FOX6 reported.

“Latinos are great consumers,” Zamarripa said at the time. “Latino and immigrant communities have proven (we can look at the stats) we’re wonderful consumers. We want to plug money into our local economy. This bill. as I said, is not an immigration bill. It’s an economic development bill. It’s a public safety bill.”

While her bill did not pass, 19 states, along with the District of Columbia, allow people to obtain driver’s licenses without proof of legal status of being in the United States.

Republican nominee Jay Schroeder, a former member of the Menomonie City Council and the Town of Menasha board, is running against Zamarripa in the November 3 election.

Another alarming election-integrity report is raising serious questions about who has been voting in American elections and how thousands of allegedly ineligible ballots could have slipped through the cracks in the red state of Florida.

A new investigation by a coalition of Florida election-integrity organizations claims that 1,827 noncitizens who were removed from the state’s voter rolls cast a staggering 7,035 ballots between 2020 and the second quarter of 2026.

The findings, first reported by The Daily Signal on Wednesday, October 14, come as the Trump administration continues its efforts to tighten voter registration requirements and prevent noncitizens from participating in American elections.

According to the report, a Joint Task Force of Florida election integrity groups examined voter registration and voting histories across all 67 Florida counties.

The coalition reported the following figures:


  • 5,612 noncitizens removed from Florida’s voter rolls during the period examined.

  • 1,827 of those individuals allegedly cast a combined 7,035 ballots.

  • Approximately 600 individuals were referred to Florida’s Office of Election Crimes and Security.


The report warns that the number of ballots attributed to individuals subsequently removed from the rolls could be significant in tightly contested elections.

Consider Florida’s November 2021 Democratic special primary election for the state’s 20th Congressional District, where the winning margin was just five votes.

The report also cited a 2018 Baker County School Board race decided by only three votes.

The coalition argued that the ballots it identified were numerous enough to potentially influence closely contested races.

The latest findings follow a major election fraud crackdown announced by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Attorney General James Uthmeier last month.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Florida officials announced on September 24 that 20 individuals faced charges in an election fraud investigation.

Sixteen defendants were noncitizens accused of falsely declaring themselves U.S. citizens before casting ballots. The remaining four were convicted felons accused of voting while still on probation.

Uthmeier declared:

Florida will not allow anyone to steal the vote of Americans at the ballot box.

The cases brought Florida’s total election fraud prosecutions above 100 since DeSantis established the Office of Election Crimes and Security in 2022.

The Gateway Pundit has extensively documented the Trump administration’s election integrity investigations.

In March, The Gateway Pundit reported that Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon disclosed troubling findings from a federal examination of voter registration records.

That review raised concerns about noncitizens, deceased voters, and duplicate registrations in state election databases.

In July, The Gateway Pundit reported that Dhillon’s Civil Rights Division warned election officials across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., about their obligations to maintain accurate voter rolls and prevent unlawful voting.

The administration’s aggressive approach has also encountered legal setbacks.

On October 9, U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan ruled against a Justice Department voter-data collection initiative, finding that the federal government’s approach exceeded its authority and violated legal protections.

According to The Daily Signal, officials in several Florida counties declined to validate the coalition’s conclusions without examining the underlying data.

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections official Alison Novoa said her office could not independently verify the numbers or conclusions presented by outside organizations.

An illegal immigrant pulled over for speeding in Nevada allegedly had enough fentanyl in his truck to kill millions, federal prosecutors say.

Francisco Joel Garcia Farias, 26, now faces federal drug-trafficking charges after a Lincoln County sheriff’s deputy stopped his pickup on a rural highway and a narcotics detection dog alerted to the vehicle, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada.
Inside, authorities say they found 13 large storage totes packed with approximately 30 pounds of suspected fentanyl and 677 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, a combined haul of more than 700 pounds.

"The massive scale of this seizure underscores the staggering volume of illicit narcotics flowing into our communities from transnational criminal organizations," said First Assistant U.S. Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada.
"Fourteen kilograms of fentanyl alone represents approximately seven million potentially lethal two-milligram doses — enough to kill more than twice the population of Nevada — and, when combined with over 650 pounds of methamphetamine, represents an estimated street value of approximately $2 million," Chattah said.

Based on that lethal-dose estimate, the fentanyl could potentially kill nearly twice the population of Los Angeles, everyone in Indiana, or roughly the entire population of Paraguay.
"These staggering quantities reflect a blatant disregard for human life, driven purely by profit," Chattah said.

The Justice Department identified Garcia Farias as an illegal immigrant in its announcement of the charges.
The bust began Oct. 13 on U.S. Highway 93 near Ash Springs, Nevada, when a deputy saw the pickup traveling above the posted speed limit, according to prosecutors’ account of the criminal complaint.

After the dog alerted, deputies searched the truck and uncovered numerous vacuum-sealed packages inside the totes.
Authorities recovered approximately 187 packages of a white crystalline substance weighing about 307.22 kilograms, along with 13 brick-shaped packages weighing approximately 14 kilograms. Field tests of selected samples were positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl, respectively, prosecutors said.

U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche said the seizure kept a potentially deadly drug supply off American streets.
"Anyone who plans to release a deadly drug like fentanyl onto American streets will be prosecuted," Blanche said. "Thanks to the diligent work of federal and local law enforcement, the lethal drugs allegedly possessed by this illegal alien are no longer endangering the lives of countless Americans."

Garcia Farias is charged with possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of a mixture containing fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture containing methamphetamine.
If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life on each count, followed by five years of supervised release, according to prosecutors.

The radical Democratic plan to change the government for good
Donald Trump started his second term in office with a plan: Project 2025.
The document — a detailed policy blueprint put together by the right-wing Heritage Foundation — outlined not just a hardline policy agenda, but a novel theory of how to wield power to get it done. Its chapters showed how a conservative president could aggressively use executive authority to strengthen the parts of the government he liked, like immigration enforcement, and smash the parts he didn’t, like foreign aid and the civil service.
Project 2025 and Trump wanted to reduce the size of the federal government, reduce taxes for normal Americans and small businesses, to increase energy independence, get manufacturing in the US, get the Government off the backs of the citizens, reduce its power. What about the Democrats?

The most prominent Democratic response to Project 2025 — an effort from a leading think tank, officially called “Project 2029” — seems undersized. A grab-bag series of conventional policy proposals, addressing issues like kids’ online safety and “the annoyance economy,” it does not even seek to grapple with the fundamental problem of a broken government.
But after months of reporting, I’ve learned that there is a quieter effort underway to build a true equivalent to Project 2025: a set of ideas for remaking the government just as sharply as Trump and Vought did — and perhaps more permanently.
The real Project 2029, as I’ve taken to calling it, isn’t yet a public document. But its broad agenda has become a point of consensus across the Democratic Party’s major factions. And importantly, its core ideas have real buy-in among both congressional Democrats and the top 2028 presidential hopefuls.
Weird that Democrats do not want to tell Americans what it is, but, Zack has a few notions. The “plan” yammers about turning an authoritarian government into a pro-democracy one, but, this seems to involve a lot increasing government (like we’ve seen in California)


Basically, what they are pushing is a federal government that cannot be stopped, and is, at best, the plan of the DSA light. What they want is a government where Democrats control it, it’s almost impossible to get them out of office, that they can jam through any legislation they want, and the Supreme Court will back anything they do.
This is a very long piece, which you often get at Vox, with a lot of flowery language meant to make the whole thing palitable, but
But perhaps the single best publicly available guide to Project 2029 thinking is a recent series of policy papers published on the website Just Security called the “Reinvention Blueprints,” edited jointly by Rahman and Sam Berger (another Biden OIRA vet, who also works with Hertel-Fernandez at EDI).
That is really all about Los Federales gaining more and more power and it being harder and harder for We The People to stop them.

Continually increasing the importation of transportation fuels from foreign based refineries exposes California as a National Security Risk to America
California is the 4th largest economy in the world and an “ENERGY ISLAND that is separated from the other 48 continental States by the Rocky and Sierra Nevada Mountain ranges. There are no pipelines over these prestigious mountains to California. ALL of Californias’ transportation fuel demands have been made by the California refineries to support the huge fuel demands of the State:

  • Diesel: Diesel fuel is the second largest transportation fuel used in California, consuming 10 million gallons/day for Diesel to support the State’s highway transportation and trucking of products from 3 of the busiest shipping ports in America.
  • Jet fuel: With all 145 airports, including 9 international airports and 30 military airports, the demand is 11 million gallons/day for Jet fuel. Several of those airports have direct pipelines to local refineries. In 2019, California consumed 16.7% of the national total of jet fuel, making it the largest consumer of jet fuel in America.
  • Gasoline: For its 36 million vehicles, California is the second-largest consumer of motor gasoline among the 50 states, consuming 37 million gallons/day for Gasoline, just behind Texas.
  • Bunker Fuel for the ships in three of the busiest Ports in America, located in California, consumes about 1 million barrels of bunker fuel annually.
    • The Port of Los Angeles had more than 1,800 vessel arrivals in 2024, which includes cruise and merchant ships.
    • The Port of Long Beach handled over 9.6 million container units in 2024, indicating a very high volume of ship activity, plus cruise ships.
    • The Port of Oakland, which also handles significant cargo volumes, contributes to the total number of cruise and merchant ships needing fuel.

Thus, if in-state refineries cannot manufacture the transportation fuels in-state, they must come from somewhere. In ALL the United States ONLY California imports transportation fuels from foreign countries to fill the void of refinery closures, to meet the demands of the 4th largest economy in the world.
As stated by Chevron Ceo Andy Walz during an Ashley Zavala KCRA 3 Interview, March 6, 2026: “I am extremely worried! I do believe we should declare a state of emergency in the state of California”.
Countless millions of families in California, Nevada, and Arizona are suffering financially. 40% of California’s transportation fuels were being imported from countries like South Korea, China, India, and Singapore. With the onset of the war in Iran these Asian refineries lost their primary source of crude oil. They can’t make the products that their countries need. This forced these Asian countries to discontinue shipping our fuel to California.
The effects of this are clearly spelled out in a document dated on April 15, 2026, from USC Professor Mische and Professor Rector from Berkeley titled “California Gasoline Supply Outlook: A disaster in the making” In this document the professors write “These Asian refiners” (notably India and South Korea) curtailed most exports as of March 15 but the corresponding decline in arrivals to California has only just begun due to shipping times of 25 – 45 days across the Pacific Ocean. Over the next one to two weeks, gasoline imports are expected to drop off sharply, reflecting cargoes that were never loaded or diverted. This will mark the point at which the import shock becomes fully visible in terminal supply and, ultimately, at the gas pump.”
Currently there is another scenario unfolding that has the potential to bring serious consequences to the West Coast. To help understand this, we will once again quote CEO Andy Walz. He recently stated: “If you close a refinery, it doesn’t come back. Closing a refinery is not a reversable decision, so if we close, we do not come back”.
This was in response to a question that Ashley Zavala from KCRA 3 asked him about a recent letter that Chevron submitted to the state. Chevron, along with PBF and Marathon, all dispatched letters to Governor Newsom and the California Air Board stating that they were seriously looking at shutting down their refineries and leaving the State. This was in response to new Cap and Invest amendments that the state proposed. If adopted as is, it would have increased their fees by hundreds of millions of dollars while overseas refiners pay nothing. When asked specifically in the same interview about the possibility of Chevron shutting down, Mr. Walz replied: “If they add this burden of a tax on our refineries, I think it’s just a matter of time. It’s not whether or not they’ll close, it’s just when.”
The following are direct quotes from all three corporation letters:

  • Andy Walz (Chevron): “The proposed regulation will cripple the survivability of the state’s remaining refineries, which will result in California losing the entire industry to the misguided program.”
  • PBF Energy: “Unless CARB puts in-state refineries on an equal footing with importers… we will be forced to address the viability of our in-state operations, along with every other refiner in the state.”
  • Marathon: “CARB’s proposal would further widen the cost disparity, forcing refineries to reconsider whether refinery operations in California remain viable… net effect will be an increase in global greenhouse gas emissions [by relying on imports with lower environmental standards].”

CARB did make some changes to their new amendments based on the letters from the oil corporations.
However, On July 1, Communities for a Better Environment sued CARB for the changes that they made asking the court to invalidate the regulations and require CARB to complete a new review before adopting them again.
It is important to note that if these corporations shut down their refineries California will lose six of the remaining seven that are currently online. California would need to import from foreign based refineries:

  • 11 million gallons of aviation fuel every day
  • 36 million gallons a day of gasoline
  • 10 million gallons a day of diesel
  • And about 1 million barrels of bunker fuel annually for merchant ships

The resulting loss of jet fuel would cause thousands of flight cancellations likely resulting in multiple airport closures. At this point Californbia’s 30 military bases would not have the jet fuel that they need to maintain operations.
The resulting loss of diesel fuel could lead to dire consequences. Cities only have 3 to 5 days of food supply on hand at any time. A substantial loss of diesel in California could easily result in a logistical collapse of the food supply chain. The port of Los Angeles will shut down. In a week to ten days cities will begin to run out of food. This supply chain collapse will cascade into Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix, and into the nation’s Heartland.
It is time for our governor, democratic legislature, and air board to step back and look at the big picture. California, Nevada, and Arizona are in serious trouble. Cap and invest policies are crippling the state. It’s past time for Governor Newsom and state legislators to make courageous and correct decisions to get us out of the debacle that we are in. If they cannot, then the only choice will be for the President to invoke the Defense Production Act on behalf of the military and citizens of California.

A response from a reader in Michigan who read one of my commentaries about Islam pouring into America beyond the comprehension of most Americans:
“My wife and I live 35 miles from Dearbornistan, Michigan. Your article is spot on. We are 80 years old, married 59 years and returned to Michigan after my military service 1966-1970. Michigan has been turned into a snake pit. We refuse to travel to the Detroit area because it simply is not safe anymore. Our once great state has been surrendered to these Muslim parasites by weak, ignorant, uneducated politicians who will do anything for what they think is power. My family has drunk the kool-aid, sadly. Left the Christian church and bought into the Muslim lie. Anyway, I’m rambling, just want to say thank you for your article. You are on our prayer list.” M.M.
The examples grow by the day. With every imported Muslim out of the Third World, Americans pay enormous consequences. What are those consequences? For instance, Abdul Sayeed running for the U.S. Senate from Michigan has family ties to the terrorist group—Muslim Brotherhood. If elected, he will swear into office on the Quran. Which, as you know, counters everything in the U.S. Constitution. He will work for Sharia Law, which counters America’s foundation and our laws.
But the one “snake” in Congress already: House Member, (D-MN), Somalian refugee, Muslim Ilhan Omar. In one speech, she said, “America is the worst country in the world.” She also climbed out of poverty to $30,000,000.00 from her husband’s “investments.” When cornered by the IRS, she said her finances were a mistake, and that she’s now down to $100,000.00 in earnings. At the same time, what are the chances she’s part of the $19 billion in Somalian fraudsters operating in Minneapolis that she represents? She stated that she represents Somalia here in America. She would like to move back there to raise her family. WHAT? Let’s buy her a one way ticket.
As of this week, Federal Agents raided her DC home for criminal evidence of long-term law breaking.

At this juncture in American politics, we see more and more Islamic followers rising into positions of power throughout the United States. You hear a litany of their names from the Atlantic to the Pacific: Abdul Sayeed, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Hasan Piker, Abdullah Hammoud, Mohammed Mawla, and dozens more.
Please note that none of them are Americans. Notice all of them are Muslims. Note that all of them adhere to Sharia Law from the Quran, and not the United States Constitution. Muslims cannot and will not, EVER, assimilate into America or abide by America’s Constitution.
We have to ask ourselves as a nation, can we afford to allow foreign-born people with incompatible languages, and incompatible religions, and incompatible cultures to invade our highest political offices? Can we afford to have such foreign-born people delve into the most sacred aspects of our Constitutional Republic?
Why would we allow a foreign-born refugee that hates America, and in fact, degrades American—to inhabit our U.S. House of Representatives? When, in fact, she does not represent us, but she does represent the most egregious fraud scandal of $19 billion for daycare centers in Minneapolis?! That’s Ilhan Omar!
What are the bets that she covered up the fraud, or in fact, she is a part of the fraud? Where did that $30 million in her bank account originate? Answer: probably your tax dollars.
You must be asking a few other questions, too, about the Democrat Socialists of America. Why would they want to allow endless mass immigration into America that has overwhelmed our welfare systems, schools, medical care, prisons, as Biden allowed 15 million to cross over illegally? Why do democrats want to abolish ICE? Why abolish the police? Why give free health care to illegal aliens? Why abolish our U.S. Senate?
Why would educated, solid, rational American citizens vote for such insanity?
Any solutions? Yes, stop all mass immigration into America. Pass laws that anyone who is foreign-born cannot be elected into any offices in any state. Monitor all mosques in America for jihadist imams supporting Sharia Law and provoking violence against America. If they do: deport them. Quit allowing Muslim flags from Palestine or any other violent societies to be flown in the USA. Invite all Muslims to self-deport to 57 Islamic countries where they can enjoy Sharia Law from the cradle to the grave.
It’s time we take back our country, before we can’t take it back. Let’s get Dearbornistan back to Dearborn, Michigan…and an All-American City! Let’s ship Ilhan Omar back to Somalia where she belongs.

A Man Of God That Saw Giant Tsunamis On Both Coasts, The New Madrid Earthquake And The Coming Eruption Of Mt. Fuji

For decades, men and women of God all over the world have been given supernatural glimpses of our apocalyptic future. Some of the things that they were shown have already happened. For example, that is how we knew about the war with Iran way in advance. Of course many more of the things that they were shown are still in our future. We really are the Book of Revelation generation, and global events are going to get absolutely crazy during the months and years that are ahead of us.

I recently published articles about Henry Gruver and Dr. Samuel Doctorian, and those articles were very well received.
Today, I want to focus on John Paul Jackson’s remarkable prophecies.
John Paul Jackson’s highly respected ministry stretched over a period of more than 30 years. If you are not familiar with him, the following is an excerpt from his bio…
Recognized as a minister who revealed God, awakened dreams, and led people closer to Jesus, John Paul Jackson (1950–2015) was an authority on biblical dream interpretation for over thirty years. He renewed passion in people of various faiths and age groups with his sincere explanations of the unexplainable mysteries of life and enabled people to relate to God and others in fresh and meaningful ways.
As an inspirational author, speaker, teacher of true spirituality, and host of the television program Dreams & Mysteries, John Paul enlightened hundreds of thousands of people across the world.
He passed away on February 18th, 2015 but he certainly is not forgotten.

In fact, people all over the world still talk about his prophecies today, because so many of them have already come to pass.
For example, John Paul Jackson was shown way in advance that war with Iran would be coming…
Yes. Well Israel and Iran are going to have a conflict. There will be explosions that take place in Iran and also in Israel to some degree. But Iran will be hit. It’s gonna be hit by Israel. I’m not sure if anybody is going to join with them, but I do know that Israel is going to be a proponent of that.
During the days of that war, John Paul Jackson was also shown that the price of gasoline would go way up and many people would blame Israel for that…
The day is going to come when Israel will hit Iran. They already have hit…there were mystery explosions that happened. And the Lord told me about this: Israel will one day send rockets into Iran, but before that day happens, there will be other explosions called mystery explosions. And those have happened. But one day it is going to happen and when that takes place and those missiles hit Iran, there’s going to be a huge growth of anti-Semitism and everybody’s going to blame Israel on the price of gasoline.
That is precisely what has happened.

We went from having a huge surplus of oil before the war to a crippling global energy crisis in less than a year.
And this war is far from over.
In fact, at one point John Paul Jackson was shown a future headline about “radioactive traces” being found in Tel Aviv…

While he was still alive, John Paul Jackson was also shown that Muslims would become a powerful force in U.S. politics…
“The Islamic community is going to continue to make inroads into the political arenas. They’ve got a multiplication project that is designed specifically on their part. It’s a hundred-year plan. At least that’s what the Lord showed me, a hundred-year plan that they have that, and I’m not say that it’s going to be hundred years before the Lord comes back. They want to have congressmen and senators in place so that they can have Supreme Court judges implement more Islamic law into the US. Islamic prayer would be allowed and Christian prayer would not be allowed. When I saw it, I thought surely not. But they will because of the fear factor. They will allow time for Islamic children to pray, but not allow time for Christian children to pray.”
John Paul Jackson died in 2015.

He had no idea that Zohran Mamdani would become mayor of New York City on January 1st, 2026.
And he had no idea that there would be five Muslims serving in the U.S. Congress in 2026…

The polls show that he has a very good chance of winning.
Let us hope that does not become a reality.
There are many other things that John Paul Jackson saw that have come to pass, but let me move to things that are still to come.
There are many men and women of God that have seen the colossal tsunami that is going to hit the east coast.
And there are many men and women of God that have seen the enormous tsunami that is going to hit the west coast.
But John Paul Jackson is one of the few that has seen both of them…
“I saw one of the things that I talked about was a tsunami. It was going to hit both coasts. One was going to hit the east coast, and one was going to hit the west coast. I talked a little bit about that, and so, no I don’t know anything about timing, I do know that there is one coming from an unusual event, which I probably shouldn’t have said that, but there is one coming. What I saw hit New York City, and I am not sure how far down the east coast it came, so I am not sure if it hits the Myrtle Beach area, or not, I just saw it hit New York City and somewhere south of there, and north of there was hit. And then I saw one coming to the west coast, and hitting LA, and several of the buildings that were 7 to 10 stories tall were under water”
I will have much to say about these future tsunamis in the months ahead.
John Paul Jackson was also shown the apocalyptic earthquake that will someday hit the New Madrid fault…
“There really is coming a major earthquake along the New Madrid faultline. It is really going to happen.”
As I have discussed many times, someday an absolutely gigantic earthquake will literally rip the United States in half from the Great Lakes all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico.
John Paul Jackson referred to the new body of water that this disaster will create as “the great divide”…
“This was a headline from a little while after an earthquake had happened. They were no longer able to go from New Orleans all the way up the Mississippi River. Something happened with the river in an earthquake. They call it the great divide. So this is how business was now operating on the Mississippi River since they could not traverse the whole way up.”
Most of us cannot even imagine a disaster of that magnitude.
But whether we can imagine it or not, it is coming.
John Paul Jackson also repeatedly warned that a massive eruption of Mt. Fuji in Japan will occur…
“Mt Fuji will some day erupt. I actually had an encounter where I was actually there. I watched the high speed train go by, I watched the mountain. There will be given three warnings and it is about to happen. Mt Fuji when I declared this was a dead volcano, now they say a dorment volcano, and nou, with the recent earthquake, that just happened in Japan, I will say that there is activity going on under neath the volcano, and there is earthquake activity underneath Mt Fuji. I was given three warnings. The warnings will be three dffirent plumes of smoke, steam will will come out of that volcano, or the sides of the volcano before the volcano will erupt. After the third one, then it will erupt. So there are three signs that the Japanese people will be given before the eruption takes place.”
Needless to say, anyone that is living in Japan should be keeping a very close eye on that volcano.
John Paul Jackson also saw that pandemics would hit this country.
God showed him that the first one that would come would be “little but fear” but that the second one that would arrive “would be serious”…
The Lord told me there would be a pandemic that came, but the first one would prove to be little but fear. But the second one that comes would be serious. So there is a pandemic that is going to be coming.
To me, it appears that this prophecy has been partially fulfilled.
The pandemic that we went through earlier this decade was a real pandemic, but the panic that it caused was worse than anything else.
John Paul Jackson was shown that the experience of the first pandemic will cause people not to take the second one seriously enough…
There is coming another pandemic. It’s not the day after tomorrow but it is coming. And this one is a serious one. This pandemic – the problem is that, the first one that was coming wasn’t going to be that major, and that people would kind of make light of the next one. But the next one is not going to be that light. The next one is going to be a very stunning issue and there is going to be a lot of people – I didn’t see but in a way it looked like a chickenpox type of thing again or like a smallpox type of thing again, where there are sores of the skin that take place. I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know what to call that. I don’t know what they symptoms might be called, but there were sores on the skin that erupted because of this issue.
In Matthew 24, Jesus warned that there would be “pestilences” in the days just before His return.
So if we really are living in the end times, that is exactly what we should expect.
As conditions deteriorate in this nation, John Paul Jackson saw that there would be widespread rioting, looting and violence in many areas…
There is anger going to be erupting. There is violence going to be in the streets. Rich houses and neighborhoods are going to be invaded. The Robin Hood mentality, “What’s yours is mine,” is going to spread and all you’re going to be seeing in [some] multimillion dollar neighborhoods is chimneys left standing and burnt chars of the houses. Violence is going to be so prevalent that police forces are not going to be able to take care of it. And even the military forces will only be able to take care of it in the urban areas and not the rural areas. Not even all the urban areas will be taken care of. It will be so wide spread.
This is what our future is going to look like.
But John Paul Jackson was always so positive about what is ahead, because he always emphasized the end of the story.
Those that have read the end of the book already know how everything ultimately turns out.
God is in control, and He has a plan.
He didn’t warn us about all of the apocalyptic events that are coming so that we would be afraid.
It is just the opposite of that.
God told us about what will happen so that we can be at peace in the midst of whatever storms are ahead, and when it is all over we will get to be with Him forever.

We all remember what happened the last time around, and now Bill Gates is warning of another major crisis that he wants to help fix. Personally, the thought of putting Bill Gates in charge of anything important makes me queasy. I wouldn’t even hire him to mop the floors of a Dairy Queen. But even after all of the revelations about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, there are a lot of people out there that still trust him, and the big networks keep putting him on television. Now he is positioning himself as the savior of the AI industry, and that should deeply alarm all of us.

Fox News is reporting that Bill Gates is strongly considering using his vast personal fortune to create an “AI safety framework” in order to “help steer the technology in a better direction”…

Microsoft founder Bill Gates may take a more active role in AI safety by raising the issue more openly with business leaders and potentially using his own wealth to help steer the technology in a better direction, Axios reported Thursday.

Gates has already spoken extensively about creating an AI safety framework with leading AI executives, including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, the outlet reported.

People familiar with Gates’ thinking say he believes restraining AI may be one of his most important contributions to society.

“Restraining AI” is another way of saying that he wants to control AI.

If I was choosing a candidate for the worst possible person on the entire planet to put in control of the AI industry, Bill Gates would definitely be on the short list.
But he is openly lobbying to be the guy.

On Sunday, he told CNN that AI is “the most dangerous technology humans ever invented” and he ominously warned that “we are going to have a lot of negative surprises” during the year ahead…

Bill Gates returned to the Sunday-show circuit this week with a fresh round of alarms about artificial intelligence, telling CNN’s Jake Tapper that the technology is “more dangerous than any” cars, planes, or drugs and that “grim possibilities” await if society fails to maintain control.

Speaking on State of the Union, the Microsoft co-founder and described AI as “the most dangerous technology humans ever invented.” He predicted that “over the next year, primarily in the cyber area, we are going to have a lot of negative surprises” once “bad people” strip safeguards from the latest models.

The real near-term danger, he said, is not AI “getting out of control”—that remains “years away”—but criminals using the tools for extortion, stock-market disruption, or similar schemes that already have proven business models.

This reminds me so much of past warnings that Gates has issued.
Does he know something that the rest of us do not?
Interestingly, Axios recently reported that our largest AI companies are actively planning for a “day after” event.

Apparently some industry insiders expect something big to happen within the next 6 to 12 months…

Nothing to worry about over here, just the fact that the people building AI are preparing for it to go badly wrong, very soon. Axios reports that top executives at Anthropic, OpenAI and other AI companies are privately planning for a public and political backlash after a catastrophic AI event. Many insiders expect this to happen within six to 12 months, most likely as a cyberattack that knocks out financial services, internet access or even power and water.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei raised the alarm last month, warning that a swarm of AI agents could take over the internet, “potentially causing hundreds of billions of dollars in damage.”

Is it just a coincidence that they are talking about a one year timeframe and Bill Gates is also talking about a one year timeframe?
Something doesn’t smell right about all of this.

But without a doubt, the threat of AI cyberattacks is very real. At this stage, Internet security firms are really struggling to stay ahead of the game…

An arms race is accelerating. Cyber-security firms and others are trying to safeguard the machinery of the global financial system – while, on the other side, rogue states such as North Korea and Iran are hell-bent on causing chaos and division and stealing anything they can get their hands on.

As the IMF warns, the world’s ability to combat such threats is becoming ever more difficult because of the near-instantaneous nature of attacks enabled by AI. In more than 70 per cent of reported cyber-attacks so far in 2026, the providers of the software designed to repel them were unable to update their systems before the inadequacies were exploited by hostile forces.

Could you imagine the panic that would occur if an AI cyberattack took down a major bank?
Even worse, could you imagine the panic that would occur if an AI cyberattack took down the stock market?
We are far more vulnerable than most people realize.
And this is just the beginning, because AI technology continues to improve at an exponential rate.

Anthropic is warning that we could be just “months away” from ultra-intelligent self-replicating AI models that are able to send countless copies of themselves to devices connected to the Internet all over the world…

Our experiments suggest that small AI models may be months away from being capable enough to self-replicate on commercial internet-of-things (IoT) devices, like smart ovens and off-brand Android TV boxes. A replicator like this would be challenging to shut down, since there’s no centralized point to shut off—though it may be slow (with a doubling time of days). Unlike non-AI malware, it could also figure out unfamiliar devices on its own. In our evaluations, a 9B model got inference running on 8 of the 9 hardware types we tested.

Models of 30B parameters and under can already complete many of the individual steps for replication today, though they make mistakes when composing them end to end. In our simplified evaluations, GLM-5.2 and stronger models are capable of end to end replication. If small models improve at their historical rate, they’ll match this capability level by the end of this year. Small weight-based replicators may be possible soon after.

This is a scenario that I have been warning my readers about for a long time.

Daniel Freeman was one of the authors of the Anthropic article, and he is warning that we have now entered the realm of science fiction…




What these researchers are creating could soon escape our control.
And that would be really bad.

But for now most of those that are working in the AI industry still believe that the benefits will greatly outweigh the costs.
In fact, some researchers have actually started smoking because they are so convinced that AI will ultimately cure cancer…

Forget sleepmaxxing and cold plunging: smoking is the new lifestyle flex among AI researchers.

At least, that’s according to Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar, who said some AI researchers are taking up smoking to signal their belief that AI will eventually cure cancer.

“So many AI researchers have started smoking as a way of signaling to other researchers how much they believe in AI,” Sankar said in an interview on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

Isn’t that nuts?
Sadly, our entire world is going crazy at this point.
And it would be really crazy for the AI industry to hand the keys over to Bill Gates.
Putting Bill Gates in charge of AI security would be kind of like putting a fox in charge of the henhouse.
Please.
Don’t do it.

But they aren’t going to listen to people like us, are they?

In 100th lawsuit against Trump, California challenges immigration arrests near courthouses

California sued the Trump administration for the 100th time in under two years Thursday, challenging the practice of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arresting people for alleged civil immigration violations at or near state courthouses.
California Atty. Gen. Rob Bonta said such arrests have long been barred because they are unconstitutional and deeply disruptive to the rule of law and the rights of victims, witnesses, defendants and other parties to court proceedings.

“We’ve seen serious criminal charges dropped and entire cases jeopardized because victims and witnesses are too scared to come to the courthouse to testify,” Bonta said. “Our justice system cannot function this way.”
Bonta said his office having to take the Trump administration to court 100 times in less than two years, often alongside other Democrat-led states, was a “sobering milestone” and a reflection not of political interference on California’s part — as the president and his supporters have cast it — but of Trump’s nearly unbridled lawlessness.
“It’s very troubling when the most powerful person on the planet and the president of our country is the one trampling over the Constitution, breaking the law so blatantly and brazenly, so consistently, so frequently,” Bonta said.
Independent legal experts said several factors have driven the wave of lawsuits.

Presidents from both parties have increasingly flexed their executive power, and state attorneys general have increasingly sued in response. During Trump’s first term in office, California — under the leadership of then-Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra, a current gubernatorial candidate — sued the Trump administration more than 120 times over four years. Texas Atty. Gen. Ken Paxton — now a Republican candidate for Senate — sued the Biden administration just over 100 times in four years.
Trump in this term quickly began implementing an array of policies left over from his first term or outlined in the Project 2025 policy blueprint, many of which Bonta and other Democratic attorneys general were prepared to sue over, experts said.
Trump was also able to appoint a host of loyalists with the help of the Republican-controlled Congress, who helped advance policies that less loyal agency heads would have balked at, and which were sure to draw additional legal challenges, experts said.

Daniel Farber, a professor at UC Berkeley Law School and author of “Contested Ground: How to Understand the Limits on Presidential Power,” said California’s raft of lawsuits is a result of the current Trump administration “doing more aggressive things right off the starting block” — but also repeatedly targeting California specifically.

The White House has consistently derided Bonta’s litigation against the administration as baseless and misguided. White House spokesperson Lauren Bis on Thursday said Bonta should stop bragging about “filing frivolous lawsuits” and “focus on addressing problems in his own state.”
“The reality is, with well over 25 Supreme Court victories, the Administration’s policies have been consistently upheld as lawful, despite some lower courts issuing an unprecedented number of lawless injunctions,” Bis said.

ICE, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment, has defended its arrests near courthouses as a “common sense” approach to apprehending offenders at times and locations where authorities know they will be.
The 100th case

Bonta’s lawsuit argues that such arrests are arbitrary and capricious given the chilling effect they have on justice in the state. They violate the Immigration and Nationality Act as intended by Congress, and interfere with California’s rights under the 10th Amendment to execute its “core sovereign judicial and police functions,” Bonta’s office said.
His arguments echo those made by other state officials in the past. During Trump’s first term, for example, then-California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye called the arrests “disruptive, shortsighted and counterproductive.”
Arrests at or near courthouses began to rise again after Trump took office in January 2025. An ICE memo, issued in May 2025, said agents could conduct “civil immigration enforcement actions in or near courthouses when they have credible information that leads them to believe the targeted alien(s) is or will be present at a specific location.”

Incidents quickly began cropping up. In June 2025, ICE agents arrested two women outside a Los Angeles County courthouse after a hearing in a local criminal case. The same unfolded across the state.
Alejandro Barraza, a criminal defense and immigration attorney, said he has witnessed the effect firsthand.
In October 2025, a client was arrested driving home from a hearing at the Riverside County Hall of Justice. In December, another client was arrested leaving the Rancho Cucamonga courthouse. And a third client chose to plead guilty in his criminal case rather than go to jury trial, despite Barraza’s advice that the case was worth fighting, for fear of being arrested by ICE.
“The victims are losing,” Barraza said. “Our clients are losing their rights to due process. Everyone is losing.”
In June, U.S. District Judge P. Casey Pitts in San Francisco struck down ICE’s expanded courthouse arrest policies nationwide. Although the lawsuit focused on immigration courthouses, the ruling also covered state criminal courthouses, restoring earlier restrictions that barred civil immigration arrests in or near courthouses except in limited circumstances. The Trump administration is appealing the ruling.

Since then, California court officials have tracked arrests by federal agents and reported them to the Judicial Council of California. Thirty people were taken into custody in June, 29 in July, 19 in August and 14 in September.
State legislators have tried to push back. Last month, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law strengthening California’s protections against civil arrests for people traveling to, attending or leaving courthouses for lawful purposes. The measure extends those protections to public ways within 1,000 feet of court facilities, while preserving an exception for arrests made under a valid judicial warrant.
Bonta said his lawsuit is necessary despite the new California law, in part because the Trump administration thinks that “no state law applies to them,” and courts have in some cases agreed — including the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which this week blocked a state law that would have required federal immigration agents to display identification while working in the state.

The wider legal battle

Bonta’s office has had substantial success in halting some of the Trump administration’s biggest policy moves — including its plans to end birthright citizenship for the U.S.-born children of immigrants, its worldwide tariffs, its deployment of National Guard troops in Los Angeles and other U.S. cities, and its withholding of billions of dollars in federal funding allocated to the state by Congress.
Michael McConnell, director of the Constitutional Law Center at Stanford Law School, said many of California’s lawsuits have been “legally meritorious,” as there is a “whole lot of legal error” coming out of the Trump administration — with a “lot of the overreach” having been “facilitated by the lack of internal checks” from loyal Trump agency heads.
However, he also said that as a California taxpayer, he doesn’t “appreciate having government using my tax dollars for what essentially are in many cases ideological lawsuits, even if meritorious,” because private litigants can and often do bring lawsuits of their own. He said he felt the same way about many of the lawsuits brought against the Biden administration by Republican states.

Bonta said he is proud of his team for challenging the Trump administration every time they believed it had broken the law and harmed California, despite Trump’s intentional effort to make that difficult.
“It was a shock and awe,” he said. “It was flood the zone. It was trying to overwhelm with speed and volume, and we kept pace every time.”
What happens next, he said, will depend on Trump. If he keeps breaking the law in ways that hurt the state or its residents, Bonta said he’ll keep getting sued by California.

An illegal migrant from Mexico with an extensive rap sheet who has been deported from the U.S. five times was arrested in the Lake Tahoe area, authorities said.
Mario Jesus Valdez-Flores was busted during a traffic stop in Kings Beach on the north shore of Lake Tahoe on October 7, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

He’s previously been convicted of selling drugs, robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and DUI, among other crimes, officials said.
Valdez-Flores is current in ICE custody pending his removal to Mexico, according to DHS.

Valdez-Flores had entered the U.S. legally in 2004 for the first time but didn’t comply with the authorized period of stay and failed to leave the country in time. He was deported three times in 2008 within a time span of four months.
He was deported again in 2009 and in 2016. The details of how and when he entered the U.S. before these deportations are not known at the moment.

“Another criminal illegal alien has been taken off the streets by the brave patriots of ICE,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement, adding that “he will be deported so he can never again commit crimes against the people of the United States of America.”

The United Nations General Assembly appointed itself the global referee on what you can believe about vaccines and pandemics, adopting a sweeping political declaration on October 12 by a 153-3 vote that calls on nations to counter “misinformation” and vaccine hesitancy. However, the United States joined Israel and Argentina in voting no, signaling deep divides over who should call the shots on public health: voters at home or bureaucrats abroad.
The 64-clause, nonbinding document emerged after objections from the Trump administration and a few other governments blocked consensus and forced a vote. The U.S. delegation objected to reproductive health language it said failed to exclude “harmful gender ideology,” which it said undermines parental authority.
The U.S. also balked at the text’s repeated references to equity and its nods to the Pandemic Agreement and International Health Regulations, which the U.S. said would commit countries to agreements they never joined. Italy also challenged wording on disinformation during earlier talks but ultimately voted yes, while New Zealand and Paraguay abstained. Critics warn the declaration sets the stage for expanded surveillance, censorship, and fast-tracked vaccines — all under the guise of global health security.
Critics call the declaration toothless but troubling

The declaration, which David Bell, a public health physician and senior scholar at the Brownstone Institute, dismissed as an empty bureaucratic gesture, still backs the WHO’s controversial Pandemic Agreement and flags a $15 billion annual gap in pandemic preparedness funding. Bell warned that the broader push diverts resources toward “saleable commodities for rare but very profitable international outbreaks.”
Valerie Ferrell, policy director of Stand for Health Freedom, likened the document to an unholy political vow renewal that reaffirms the U.N.’s fondness for “begging for funds, and hunting and killing ‘misinformation’ so people are kept in the dark.”
The U.S. withdrawal from the WHO, ordered by President Trump in January 2025 and effective this year, further underscores the administration’s refusal to hand over public health decisions to international bodies.
Paragraph 57 targets vaccine hesitancy as ‘misinformation’

The most contentious line, paragraph 57, asks member states to counter “health-related misinformation, disinformation, including countering vaccine hesitancy” and to build trust in public health systems. Epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher of the McCullough Foundation said the provision should alarm anyone who values “scientific freedom, informed consent, and the right to question public-health authorities.”
Opponents also bristle at the text’s embrace of “infodemic management” and a whole-of-government, whole-of-society approach to pandemics, warning it could bring back the lockdowns, mandates, and censorship seen during COVID.
Pathogen-sharing talks could produce a binding deal

Beyond the nonbinding declaration, an annex on pathogen access and benefit-sharing (PABS) remains the true prize. Under the proposed system, participating nations would hand over pathogen samples and genetic sequences and receive a cut of whatever vaccines, treatments, and diagnostics result. Talks have stalled over intellectual property fights between wealthy and developing nations.
Researcher James Roguski told The Defender that PABS is the “main event.” The Pandemic Agreement can’t open for signature until the annex is complete, and Roguski said talks resume next month. If negotiators strike a deal and the World Health Assembly approves the agreement in May 2027, he said, the next U.S. administration could sign on or rejoin the WHO.
Trust in public health isn’t manufactured by drowning out doubters. It’s earned by telling people the whole truth, side effects and all. And with drugmakers lining up to turn shared pathogen samples into profitable vaccines, everyone at the table seems to have something to sell except the skeptics.

Republican candidate for New York Governor Bruce Blakeman suggested that Harry Styles invite the illegal migrant gangbanger shot by ICE agents along on his concert tour after the British pop star ranted about the migrant on social media.

“I think Harry Styles should put that guy on his tour bus and tour around the country with this guy, who is a convicted criminal,” Blakeman joked on Fox News Tuesday “He is alleged to have gang activity, he’s alleged to be involved in drug dealing poison to our children. This is who he wants in our communities?”

The GOP candidate was referring to the case of Dominican national Oscar Belgal, who was grazed in the neck by ICE agents after the migrant tried to use his car to run them down when they confronted him in the Bronx.

The migrant, whose name was initially reported as Oscar Bergal, entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 and has a long history of criminal arrests and convictions. But leftists have come to his support because he had a child in his car as he was fired upon when he used the vehicle to run down ICE agents.

The pop singer, though, spoke up for the criminal migrant.

“I just want us to take a moment to think about Oscar Belgal tonight,” Styles said from the stage at Madison Square Garden. “The people who don’t look like you and aren’t born where you’re from, they deserve respect, and love, and dignity, and justice.”

Blakeman, though, blasted Styles.

“This is who he sticks up for, rather than federal agents who just want to do their job?” the Republican said.

The dangerous migrant found support in the courts, as well, when U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken, an Obama judicial nominee, ruled that the Department of Homeland Security could not deport the criminal while his petition challenging his detention is pending.
