Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported more illegal alien criminals from the United States, including those convicted of child sex crimes, domestic violence, and assault, Breitbart News has learned.

�Last week, the patriots of ICE deported more illegal aliens, including pedophiles, drunk drivers, and violent assailants,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said.

Among those illegal aliens deported is Miguel Baltazar-Bernal of Mexico, who was previously convicted of sexual intercourse with a minor, corporal injury on spouse, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana for sale, and illegal entry.

Baltazar-Bernal was previously deported six times from the U.S. and was issued a final deportation order in 1995 by a federal immigration judge.

Likewise, ICE deported Omer Karahodzic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was previously convicted of four counts of third-degree assault on a corrections employee, three counts of wanton endangerment, three counts of drunk driving, three counts of alcohol intoxication in a public place, and possession of marijuana.

Karahodzic has been arrested for kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment. A federal immigration judge ordered him deported in July 2025.

Altiman Peterkin of Jamaica was deported after having been convicted of assault and battery on a family member. Peterkin was also arrested for rape and threatening to commit murder. He entered the U.S. in November 2014 as a legal immigrant but overstayed his visa by February 2015. A federal immigration judge ordered him deported in July of this year.

ICE deported Teofilo Ramos-Ramos of Guatemala and Cecilia Gonzalez-Chavez of Mexico.

Ramos-Ramos has been convicted of false imprisonment by violence, menace, fraud, or deceit, and drunk driving causing injury. Gonzalez-Chavez has been convicted of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

A federal immigration judge ordered Ramos-Ramos deported in December 2022 and Gonzalez-Chavez was ordered deported in September 2023 but illegally crossed the border in November 2023 and was subsequently released into the U.S. interior.

�Eighty percent of the American people support deporting criminal illegal aliens,� Mullin said. �Every day, DHS is delivering on President Trump�s mandate from the American people to deport illegal aliens and make America safe again.�

An illegal alien is accused of killing a woman and her daughter in a drunk driving crash in the sanctuary jurisdiction of Montgomery County, Maryland.

Jose Antonio Caballero-Nolasco, a 32-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested and charged with two counts of negligent vehicular manslaughter and two counts of vehicular homicide with alcohol as a factor.

According to police, on August 29 in Montgomery County, Caballero-Nolasco was allegedly driving drunk when he began driving the wrong way on Interstate 270 and crashed head-on into a vehicle with four occupants.

Two of the occupants, 46-year-old Musammat Shamima Begum and her 23-year-old daughter Areebah Jahin, died in the crash. The crash also left Shamima Begum�s 8-year-old daughter with critical injuries.

�This illegal alien has been charged after a drunk-driving crash that killed a woman and her daughter and injured two others, including an 8-year-old girl, in Montgomery County, Maryland,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement:

This tragedy was completely avoidable. Musammat Shamima Begum and Areebah Jahin should still be alive. ICE has lodged a detainer asking officials in Maryland to commit to not releasing this killer back onto our streets. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their family, and for a swift recovery for those who were injured. [Emphasis added]

Caballero-Nolasco remains incarcerated at the Montgomery County Detention Center. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against the illegal alien, seeking custody if he is released from jail at any time.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has broken another record, arresting nearly 51,000 illegal aliens across the United States last month.

�The hard-working men and women of DHS continue to break records as they defend the homeland and protect the American people,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement this week:

For the third straight month, ICE set a new record for the highest number of illegal aliens arrested in a single month, nearly 51,000. This is promises made and promises kept in action. [Emphasis added]

In August, ICE agents arrested 50,925 illegal aliens across the U.S., surpassing July�s record of 50,208 arrests. It also marks the second consecutive month with more than 50,000 illegal aliens arrested.

The previous record, before July, was set in June of this year when nearly 44,000 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE agents.

�Under President Trump�s leadership, ICE is working around the clock every day to arrest and deport illegal aliens from American communities,� Mullin said. �If you are in the country illegally, leave now. If not, we will find you, arrest you, and deport you.�

This week, the Center for Immigration Studies released analysis showing that since the start of President Trump�s second term, the nation�s foreign-born population has declined by about 2.9 million � suggesting that the administration�s fierce migrant crackdown has been wholly effective.

The Department of Homeland Security is taunting Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal over his condemnation of ICE.
"ICE is enforcing the law as written by Congress and we will not be stopping," they wrote in a sneering statement after Blumenthal described hearing testimony of ICE's actions during a Danbury town forum.

Blumenthal, 80, held a public forum on September 3 where he heard about how ICE has affected local families and communities.
"The stories that I heard were absolutely gripping and riveting, heartbreaking, earlier today in not only the emotion, but the trauma, the lasting trauma that will be created for children who will come home at the end of the day and find their parents gone, or who watch from a school bus, as we were told earlier," he said at the event. "Elementary and middle school children in school buses, watching ICE throw people to the ground, taser them, manhandle them, physical brutality as they watched in real time."

ICE Sneered Back at Blumenthal

When asked to respond to Blumenthal's comments by NBC Connecticut, DHS mocked the senator, suggesting he try and stop them.
"We would remind Senator Blumenthal, perhaps most well-known for fabricating a military service record during the Vietnam War, that he has the ability to change the law if he doesn�t like it," they responded.
Blumenthal served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve during the Vietnam War and never served overseas, though he multiple times appeared to claim he had actually fought in the country during his first Senate campaign in 2010.

The DHS went on to list some Connecticut individuals they had rounded up that they dubbed "the worst of the worst." Of the four individuals they listed, two were arrested for sexual assault, one for violating a restraining order, and one arrested for drunk driving.
"ICE is again calling on pro-criminal alien politician Senator Blumenthal to put Americans first and to tell [Connecticut] Governor [Ned] Lamont to honor our detainers so we can take custody of illegal aliens who pose a public safety threat in our communities," they added.

Lamont Has Resisted ICE

Connecticut has resisted ICE activity in the state.
On August 26, Lamont put out a statement making clear that the state did not want ICE there.
"Let me be clear: Connecticut does not want, nor do we need, the type of presence ICE has had in our state this week," he wrote. "Connecticut has some of the lowest crime rates in the country, thanks to the excellent work our state and local police do to keep violent criminals off our streets. Rounding up people at random to fill a quota does not lower crime. It traumatizes families and communities."
Lamont also provided advice and resources to those detained by immigration officers.

America�s foreign-born population has declined by an estimated 2.9 million people during the first year and a half of President Donald Trump�s second term, a historic reversal following four years of Joe Biden�s catastrophic border policies.

According to a new analysis released by the Center for Immigration Studies, the foreign-born population fell from approximately 53.3 million in January 2025 to 50.5 million in July 2026.

The 2.9 million figure includes naturalized citizens, lawful permanent residents, long-term temporary visitors, and illegal immigrants.

However, CIS preliminarily estimates that the illegal immigrant population alone declined by roughly 2.3 million, falling from approximately 15.8 million in January 2025 to 13.5 million in July 2026.

�The best data we have shows an enormous decrease in the total foreign-born population,� said Steven Camarota, CIS director of research and the report�s lead author.

Camarota said the bulk of the decline appears to have occurred among illegal immigrants following President Trump�s restoration of border security and interior immigration enforcement.

The change represents an astonishing turnaround from the Biden years.

CIS reported that the total foreign-born population increased by approximately 8.3 million during the previous four years.

In just 18 months, President Trump appears to have reversed more than one-third of that massive increase.

The organization concluded that net migration, the number of people entering the country minus those leaving, was negative during the period.

The Census Bureau has separately reported a dramatic slowdown in net international migration.

Federal estimates show net migration falling from 2.7 million in 2024 to 1.3 million in 2025, with a projected decline to approximately 321,000 in 2026 if current trends continue. Census officials attributed the reversal to both fewer arrivals and increased emigration.

This is what happens when America finally has a president willing to enforce the law.

As The Gateway Pundit reported in August 2025, the foreign-born population had already fallen from 53.3 million in January to approximately 51.9 million in June�marking the first sustained decline in decades.

By October, The Gateway Pundit reported that the decline had reached approximately 2.2 million, driven by President Trump�s secure border, stepped-up enforcement, and voluntary self-deportations.

The contrast with the Biden regime could not be more dramatic.

In December 2023, The Gateway Pundit reported that the foreign-born population had reached an all-time record of 49.5 million after rising by approximately 4.5 million during Biden�s first three years in office.

By March 2024, the foreign-born population had climbed to approximately 51.6 million, or 15.6 percent of the entire country, following the largest two-year increase ever recorded.

Joe Biden opened the floodgates.

Historical Census Bureau figures show just how extraordinary the current decline is:

1930: 14.2 million
1940: 11.6 million � a decline of 2.6 million over ten years
1950: 10.3 million � a decline of 1.3 million
1960: 9.7 million
1970: 9.6 million � the modern low

The Census Bureau reported that the foreign-born population declined from 14.2 million in 1930 to 10.3 million in 1950 before reaching 9.6 million in 1970.

President Trump�s estimated 2.9 million reduction occurred in only 18 months, larger than the entire decline recorded during any single decade between 1930 and 1970.

States must alert the federal government to known illegal immigrants when they opt into receiving certain federal welfare benefits, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday.

The move withdraws a 1998 DOJ opinion and clarifies that under a 1996 welfare-reform law - the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act - all state agencies, including those that administer welfare funding, have the duty to report individuals unlawfully in the United States to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
According to the new Office of Legal Counsel opinion, which was issued Sept. 1, states risk losing funds for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Security Income programs if they do not comply.
"Congress wrote this requirement plainly," said Assistant Attorney General T. Elliot Gaiser of the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel.
"When a state chooses to participate in TANF, it accepts the obligation to report illegal aliens in the United States."
States that do not alert DHS to unlawful individuals attempting to obtain welfare thus encourage illegal immigration and take tax dollars away from U.S. citizens, Gaiser said in a statement.
The previous Clinton-era interpretation of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, which is now reversed, limited states' reporting requirement of illegal immigrants to immigration authorities only to state agencies administering the welfare funds.
"We reached that view by disregarding [the 1996 law's] definition of 'State' and giving that term inconsistent meanings within the same statutory provision," the Office of Legal Counsel admitted in its new opinion. "We conclude that our 1998 Opinion improperly narrowed the conditions that Congress attached to federal funding for certain federal benefits programs. We now withdraw it."
All 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several U.S. territories participate in TANF and the Supplemental Security Income programs, the DOJ said.
Funding for the TANF program alone accounts for more than $16.4 billion each year.
DOJ Office of Legal Counsel Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joshua Craddock, who authored the new opinion, said it doesn't impose any new obligations on states. It only restores the original meaning of the 1996 act that binds all state agencies to federal law in sharing information with DHS about known illegal immigrants, he stated.
"States that accept TANF funding must abide by federal law, and failure to comply may lead to serious consequences, including loss of program funding," Craddock said in the statement.
The DOJ clarified this new opinion only applies prospectively. States will not face retroactive penalties or altered agreements for welfare funds because those contracts complied with the 1998 interpretation.

SEATAC, Wash. � A Washington nonprofit is warning people who are not U.S. citizens to consider limiting air travel and speak with an immigration attorney before flying, citing recent immigration arrests at airports and increased enforcement across the country.

The Washington chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR-WA, issued the travel warning this week as Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests continue in Washington communities and at airports.

The warning applies even to domestic flights.

�We encourage our community to try to limit domestic travel, even international travel if possible,� CAIR-WA Executive Director Imraan Siddiqui said. �Emergencies come up. It's better to stay safe.�

CAIR-WA is particularly urging people with pending immigration matters to understand their individual circumstances before traveling. The organization is not saying every noncitizen who flies will face arrest, but says recent enforcement actions have made it difficult to assure immigrants that traveling carries no risk.

Asked what he would tell a loved one who wanted to know whether it was safe to fly, Siddiqui said, �I would say speak to an immigration attorney. That's what we're telling our communities.�

Asylum seeker arrested after returning to SEA Airport

The warning comes after an asylum seeker was taken into ICE custody at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) last month.

On Aug. 10, the woman was returning from a vacation from Texas on a connecting flight. When she landed at SEA, she was taken into custody after her flight arrived.

The arrest was part of a broader pattern of immigration enforcement that has included people with pending immigration cases.

�We've seen asylum seekers, which is a legal status in this country, constantly being picked up,� Siddiqui said. �There's no rhyme or reason, but this is just chaos within our immigration system right now.�

Siddiqui called the enforcement �basically legalized racial profiling.�

ICE arrests continue across western Washington

The airport warning comes as immigration arrests continue elsewhere in western Washington.

Video recorded Wednesday in Tukwila showed federal agents handcuffing a man behind his back.

Another arrest was recorded the same day in Federal Way. A woman who asked KING 5 to identify her only as Sarah because she fears retaliation said several agents gathered outside her home while arresting a man.

�There were four of them,� Sarah said. �About an hour or so later, another one showed up. Eventually two more showed up. One of the guys got out of his vehicle and got an assault rifle.�

Sarah said it was the second immigration arrest she witnessed that day. Earlier, she said she saw what appeared to be the same group of agents arresting someone at a Dutch Bros parking lot.

�To have them right in front of my house was really disturbing and stressful,� she said.

CAIR-WA says the increase in enforcement has left organizations serving immigrant communities balancing the need to warn people about potential risks without creating unnecessary fear.

�It's not safe to go to the airport and assume everything is going to be okay,� Siddiqui said. �Once you get into this immigration system, it's very, very hard to get out of ICE detention.�

Immigration attorneys in high demand

For people concerned about traveling, CAIR-WA recommends consulting an immigration attorney who can evaluate their specific status and circumstances.

That can be difficult. Immigration attorneys and nonprofit legal organizations are handling a high volume of cases as enforcement increases.

Organizations including CAIR-WA and the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project provide immigration resources, though both are also dealing with cases requiring immediate attention.

KING 5 reached out to lawmakers about the recent enforcement activity. Sen. Patty Murray's office said she is aware of arrests occurring both in communities and at airports and will continue pushing for accountability from the Department of Homeland Security.

A depraved illegal alien who was previously deported and later slipped back into the United States is now wanted for allegedly sexually abusing and impregnating his own teenage daughter.

Sergio Galvez-Perez, a 38-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, is wanted in Monterey County after authorities say he fathered a child with his own 14-year-old daughter. Investigators say the girl was only 13 when she became pregnant.

The newborn, named Baby Angelita by detectives, was found dead on the side of Struve Road near Moss Landing on August 1, umbilical cord still attached, with signs of traumatic injury.

Monterey County Sheriff Tina Nieto confirmed Galvez-Perez is the biological father of both the teenager and the dead infant.

He is wanted on felony warrants for incest, lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, lewd acts with a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse, child concealment, and child endangerment. Authorities say he is hiding the girl and preventing law enforcement from finding her, according to the LA Times.

This monster should never have been on American streets.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed to reporters that Galvez-Perez is a criminal illegal alien. ICE first arrested him in Florida in November 2007 and removed him from the United States in January 2008. He illegally reentered the country and was encountered by Border Patrol near San Ysidro in 2016. He stayed, the Daily Caller reported.

Then California protected him.

On July 11, 2023, ICE issued a detainer after Galvez-Perez was arrested for driving under the influence. California authorities did not honor it. Under Newsom�s sanctuary regime, the California Values Act (SB 54) and related state rules, local agencies are barred from holding people on ICE detainers and severely restricted from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement. He walked.

DHS says his record already included operating a vehicle without a license, DUI, hit-and-run with property damage, battery, domestic violence, and aggravated assault.

Those are the �non-violent� cases sanctuary politicians pretend don�t count. Then came the charges now pending: incest and sex crimes against his own child.

The girl�s mother, Ofelia Garcia Ortega, was arrested on a child-endangerment charge and later released on bail. A murder warrant was issued for the 14-year-old, whom the sheriff also described as a victim of her father�s abuse.

The Monterey County District Attorney�s Office has filed charges against Galvez-Perez and said it has not yet received a charging packet on the girl. Both the father and the teenager remain at large.

Authorities warned the public not to approach him and urged anyone who sees him or the missing teenager to call 911 immediately.

The Justice Department has adopted a sweeping new legal interpretation designed to compel states to assist the Trump administration's immigration crackdowns.
The new opinion from the department�s Office of Legal Counsel � which provides advice to the attorney general � outlines a new path for the federal government to yank federal funding from states that don�t aid the administration�s mass deportation push.

It says any state that draws on massive federal programs to provide financial assistance to low-income residents � which every state does � must report to the Trump administration any immigrant it believes is residing in the country illegally.

Prior administrations concluded that the requirement to report known undocumented immigrants applied only to state agencies implementing those federal programs.
But the new opinion instead determined that the reporting requirement extends to the entire government of a state receiving federal funding through either the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program or Supplemental Security Income � two enormous safety net programs for low-income families as well as elderly and disabled residents.
�Congress wrote this requirement plainly,� Assistant Attorney General T. Elliot Gaiser said in a statement. �When a state chooses to participate in TANF, it accepts the obligation to report illegal aliens in the United States. Tax dollars intended to help vulnerable Americans should not perversely encourage illegal entry into the United States, but rather should reinforce our laws and our borders.�
The new OLC opinion, dated Tuesday and authored by Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joshua Craddock, is the latest signal of the Trump administration�s hardline immigration crackdown and could portend efforts to yank funding from states that refuse to participate in the administration�s enforcement efforts.
Courts have struck down previous efforts to force the hands of state and local governments.
Craddock�s opinion formally withdraws a 1998 OLC opinion, issued during the Clinton administration, that took a narrower view of the requirement.
The new OLC opinion won�t immediately change the day-to-day practicalities of immigration enforcement. Other agencies will now need to determine how to enforce the new interpretation, and those efforts will likely result in a new wave of legal battles.

Notably, the Justice Department said the new conclusion would only apply to future pots of federal funding. The administration �cannot retroactively alter agreements� that were premised on OLC�s previous interpretation �because the parties to those agreements had different understandings of states� reporting obligations,� Craddock wrote. �And states remain free to reevaluate their participation in TANF or SSI going forward in view of today�s opinion.�
How such a requirement might work in practice is murky. How a state �knows� whether someone is residing there illegally raises additional questions about who makes that determination and based on what degree of evidence or suspicion.
Craddock addressed this issue in a footnote, emphasizing that several federal agencies in 2000 adopted an extremely limited view of how states could determine someone�s unlawful presence in the country: only following a formal conclusion of law that was subject to review and confirmation by federal immigration authorities.
Craddock said this interpretation �set the threshold for knowledge much higher� than the law required. Rather, a state may �know� someone is illegally present if DHS provides notification, an agency has records indicating unlawful presence or the person simply admits it.
�Conversely, an agency cannot avoid acquiring knowledge of unlawful status by deliberately refusing to consider readily available information or by insisting on a formal adjudication that the statute nowhere requires,� Craddock concluded.

CNN contributor Leigh McGowan is �exhausted� with hearing stories about illegal immigrants committing crimes like killing American citizens.

She made the comment during a recent panel discussion on the network, when conservative contributor Brianna Lyman was trying to make a valid point about what the liberal media covers and chooses not to cover.

Lyman was using as an example, a woman in Massachusetts who was strangled by an illegal immigrant just last week. McGowan rolled her eyes in disgust at the mere mention of it.

A CNN panel erupted Tuesday after far-left podcast host Leigh McGowan called repeated discussions of Americans killed by illegal immigrants �exhausting� after a conservative panelist raised the strangling death of Massachusetts woman Brianna Connolly by an illegal immigrant.

The panel was discussing the death of Pierre Damas Bel, a 20-year-old Haitian-born college student in Ohio whose family said he died by suicide Monday after being required to wear an ankle monitor after losing his Temporary Protected Status. Ohio State Highway Patrol said Bel died after walking into traffic on Interstate 70 and that the incident remained under investigation.

�Well, temporary does mean temporary, so eventually this individual may have been ordered to be removed,� The Federalist reporter Brianna Lyman said on the �NewsNight� panel. �I think it�s kind of insulting that we�re talking about this immigrant instead of Brianna Connolly from Massachusetts who was strangled last week by an illegal alien. Why is the focus never��

McGowan interrupted Lyman as she mentioned Connolly�s killing.

�Oh my God!� she said. �It�s so exhausting. Over and over again.�

Lyman immediately responded by contrasting McGowan�s frustration with the experiences of victims� families.

A federal judge on Wednesday blocked President Trump�s executive order ending birth tourism.

The other order bans birthright tourism, the practice by which people travel to the United States solely for the purpose of giving birth to a child on our soil.

President Trump, earlier this month, signed two executive orders on birthright citizenship and birth tourism, following the Supreme Court�s ruling against the Trump Administration�s executive order ending birthright citizenship.

During the Oval Office signing, Trump decried the �very, very unfortunate� Supreme Court decision, adding, �So we�re making adjustments because it�s very unfair.�

�This was done right after the Civil War. This was for the babies of slaves, and what�s happening now, people are building businesses around it,� Trump said. �Wealthy people are building businesses around birthright citizenship. That�s not the way it was supposed to work. It�s a disgrace. They�re buying their way in, and we�re not going to let it happen.�

On Wednesday, US District Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee, issued a preliminary injunction blocking Trump�s executive order.

A federal judge on Wednesday blocked the Trump administration from enforcing a new executive order limiting the number of people eligible for birthright citizenship that President Donald Trump issued after the U.S. Supreme Court *rejected his previous effort.

U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman in Greenbelt, Maryland, issued a preliminary injunction at the request of immigrant *rights advocates who had last year secured a ruling from her blocking the Trump administration from enforcing his initial 2025 executive order curtailing birthright citizenship.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Purpose. United States citizenship is among the greatest inheritances the Nation can bestow. It embodies a sacred bond between the American people and the Nation in which they live, and carries profound rights, privileges, and responsibilities reflective of the enduring allegiance of citizens to the United States and our Constitution. Citizenship is not a commodity to be acquired through calculated exploitation and evasion of the immigration laws, such as by entering the United States on a nonimmigrant visa for the purpose of giving birth within the Nation�s borders.

Birth tourism operators use deceptive advertisements and inducements to entice foreign nationals to travel to the United States for the purpose of giving birth on American soil. They promise citizenship; access to public benefits; and short-term stays in specialized facilities, hotels, or rentals, but often fail to deliver on these promises. These operators coach their clients to misrepresent the purpose and duration of their travel to consular and border officials to obtain visas authorizing entry into the United States. Failure to appropriately combat these schemes has resulted in thriving industries around the world that profit by enabling the evasion of American immigration laws to obtain citizenship and other immigration benefits for foreign visitors, and the exploitation of the women who travel here for purposes of giving birth.

The immigration laws of the United States establish discrete categories of temporary nonimmigrant visas to allow foreign visitors into the United States for study, exchange, temporary employment, tourism, and other transitory activities that are now exploited by birth tourism operators. Participants in birth tourism schemes abuse these categories to establish a permanent foothold in the United States by securing the advantage of citizenship for their children and then potentially for themselves.

Birth tourism, defined in section 3 of this order, undermines the integrity of the Nation�s immigration system by enabling foreign nationals to exploit their temporary admission to obtain permanent immigration-related benefits. Birth tourism also diverts limited consular inspection and enforcement resources away from legitimate visa applicants, erodes public confidence in the faithful enforcement of the immigration laws, and impairs the executive branch�s ability to protect the national security.

The United States has a compelling interest in ensuring that each visa category is used only for the purpose for which it was established. Foreign nationals seeking temporary admission into the United States must adhere to the purposes for which the Congress has authorized their temporary admission, and cannot be permitted to circumvent the immigration laws in an attempt to vest themselves and their children with lasting benefits that are irreconcilable with their nonimmigrant status.

It is therefore the policy of the United States to promote the integrity of its immigration system, to ensure that nonimmigrant visa classifications are used only for their lawful and intended purposes, and to prevent the exploitation of those classifications by persons engaging in birth tourism.

Sec. 2. Authorities. Pursuant to section 301 of title 3, United States Code, the authority granted to the President under section 215(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. 1185(a), is hereby delegated to the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security to the extent necessary to implement this order, including the authority to issue or adopt rules, policies, operational guidance, or other guidance to carry out this order.

Sec. 3. Definition. For purposes of this order, �birth tourism� is defined as:

(a) the entry of any foreign national into the United States via a nonimmigrant visa for the purpose of giving birth on American soil; or

(b) any effort by any foreign national to facilitate the entry of any foreign national into the United States via a nonimmigrant visa for the purpose of giving birth on American soil.

Sec. 4. Scope and Implementation. (a) The Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall take such actions and update any rules, policies, operational guidance, or other guidance as necessary to effectuate the policy set forth in this order. Such actions may include, within the Secretaries� respective discretion and authority, appropriate action to prevent the entry into the United States of, or the granting of any visa or other travel authorization to, any alien entering or attempting to enter the United States for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism; revoking the visa or travel authorization and permanently barring entry of any alien who enters or attempts to enter the United States for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism; denial of entry to, or removal of, any alien who previously engaged or plans to engage in birth tourism; or other appropriate action against entities, organizations, or individuals, within or outside of the United States, responsible for facilitating or enabling birth tourism in any manner.

(b) All other relevant executive departments and agencies shall provide such records and information as are necessary for the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security to implement the terms of this order and the rules, policies, operational guidance, or other guidance issued pursuant to it, subject to applicable law.

Sec. 5. Exemptions. Notwithstanding the restrictions imposed by this order, the Secretary of State or the Secretary of Homeland Security may exempt a foreign national from actions taken pursuant to this order on humanitarian grounds or when the foreign national�s entry is in the national interest, as determined by the Secretary of State or the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Sec. 6. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

(d) If any provision of this order, or the application of any provision to any person or circumstances, is held to be invalid, the remainder of this order and the application of any of its other provisions to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.

(e) The costs for publication of this order shall be borne by the Department of Homeland Security.

A 42-year old Bengali man who sexually abused a 13-year-old girl in the Italian city of Turin over the weekend was released just two days later on Monday by a local judge because the offender said he was �sorry.�

The judge�s shocking decision prompted outrage and condemnation from Italian government authorities, including Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who expressed her solidarity with the victim.

The Italian newspaper La Stampa reports that the heinous crime occurred on Saturday afternoon at a mini market located in northern Turin. The victim told police she went to the locale to buy a a fruit juice drink for her brother after he had finished cooking lunch.

A store worker � later identified as a 42 year-old Bengali national � engaged in conversation with her.

He eventually asked the girl if he could �hug her� before sexually assaulting the minor.

La Stampa pointed out that it omitted the details of the assault from its report out of decency and compassion toward the minor.

Per the newspaper, the victim left the store in a complete state of shock. She was able to call a friend who helped her arrive home. She spoke with her mother, who later called the police. The minor victim further testified to the police that a similar incident had occurred just two weeks prior, when the same man �put his hand on me� but she managed to get out of the store. The girl was examined by a pediatrician at Turin�s Regina Margherita hospital.

Italian police officers reportedly arrived at the store and noted the suspect�s �agitated state,� exhibiting an impatient and restless behavior during questioning. Most shockingly, video surveillance footage obtained from the store revealed evidence that the suspect had also assaulted a woman 40 minutes before the abuse against the minor took place.

An African migrant was arrested by Italian police on Sunday after being caught on film raping a Ukrainian woman in broad daylight.

�The man persisted in his behavior despite her clear refusal, attempting to hold her inside the store until she managed to reach the exit, but not before the man suddenly groped her one last time,� the police officers wrote in their report, per La Stampa.

The Bengali man was detained on Saturday. Local prosecutors accused the man of being a repeat offender during a preliminary hearing on Monday. Despite the evidence presented, a local judge released the man after he said, �I�m sorry for what happened. It had never happened to me before,� during the hearing.

Per Rai News, the man justified his behavior by claiming he had drunk �two tequilas.� The judge reportedly claimed in the hearing that �strong evidence of guilt� against the man was found and acknowledged that the victim�s testimony is logical, consistent, and corroborated by surveillance camera. Nevertheless, the man was released because of his �remorse� and �cooperative attitude.�

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed her outrage over the man�s release in a message published at her official Facebook account.

�The judge�s reasoning is: he had no prior convictions, he cooperated, and he said he was sorry.�

Meloni pointed out that the laws her government has written are strict, law enforcement did its duty in a timely manner, and the �entire system worked,� only for a judge to throw it all away in just 48 hours.

The Prime Minister said that her government is sending inspectors from the Justice Ministry to Turin to investigate what transpired as it is the only thing the executive can do.

�Who�s going to explain this to that family? Who�s going to explain this to that neighborhood, which knows tonight that that man is back there?� Meloni asked. �We�ll keep going. Regulations, personnel, equipment, resources. All the way through. But this makes it really difficult.�

�My complete solidarity goes out to the young woman and her family,� she concluded.

Justice Minister Carlo Nordio later confirmed that inspectors have been sent to Turin, noting that the controversial ruling falls within the separation of powers between the executive and the judiciary. In spite of that, Nordio said that the inspectors will gather all of the relevant information in light of the exceptional circumstances of the case and the social commotion it has caused.

Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini expressed his disgust at the �unbelievable� release of the sexual abuser from prison � describing the man as a �pig� with �all due respect to pigs.� Salvini, who said he would �love� to meet the judge that ordered the release, reiterated the calls made by his party Lega to implement the chemical castration of rapists.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested an illegal alien from the Philippines whose criminal record in the United States dates back 20 years, Breitbart News has learned.

On August 2, ICE agents took custody of 55-year-old illegal alien Jaime Tan Francisco of the Philippines.

About a week before his arrest by ICE, Francisco was arrested by police in Las Vegas, Nevada for domestic battery, attempted arson, drug possession, resisting an officer, and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Acting ICE Director David Venturella said Francisco first entered the U.S. in April 2000 through Detroit, Michigan. Francisco was authorized to stay in the U.S. until Oct. 26, 2000, but overstayed and has lived in the country as an illegal alien for almost 26 years.

In July 2006, Francisco was convicted of harassment. Less than 10 years later, in 2014, Francisco was convicted of possession of meth.

�Criminal illegal aliens are unwelcome in the U.S., and ICE is partnering with state and local police to keep them off our streets and out of our communities,� Venturella said.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is continuing to deport violent gang members from the United States, including those convicted of crimes like assault and battery, drug trafficking, and abduction.

�Last week, the brave men and women of ICE made our country safer by deporting illegal alien gang members, including kidnappers, violent assailants, drug traffickers, and burglars,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said.

Among those deported is Balmore Vladimir Hernandez-Lopez of El Salvador, a member of the MS-13 gang. Hernandez-Lopez has been previously convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and has been arrested for human trafficking, smuggling contraband into a prison, and resisting an officer.

Hernandez-Lopez illegally entered the U.S. as an unknown got-away. In June 2007, a federal immigration judge ordered Hernandez-Lopez deported, and in June 2016, he was deported.

Hernandez-Lopez again illegally crossed the southern border in February 2017.

Hernandez-Lopez was arrested and deported by the Trump administration that same month. On a third occasion, he illegally crossed the border and entered the U.S.

DHS officials detailed more gang members recently deported by ICE:

Erik Alexis Valladares-Corea, an illegal alien from Honduras and MS-13 gang member, deported on August 24. His criminal history includes convictions for abduction, possession of a weapon, and illegal re-entry, and arrests for maliciously or unlawfully wound and cause bodily injury with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or kill, resisting an officer, speeding, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He illegally entered the United States through Texas in April 2015, and was RELEASED by the Obama Administration. After a Department of Justice (DOJ) Immigration Judge issued Valladares-Corea a final order of removal on May 19, 2020, the Trump Administration deported him on May 29, 2020. He then illegally re-entered the United States � a felony � at an unknown date and location.

Enrique Carrasco-Polanco, an illegal alien from Mexico and Sinaloa Cartel member, deported on August 29. His criminal history includes convictions for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, drug possession, marijuana � sell, and illegal re-entry. He has previously been deported from the United States THREE times, in 2014, 2015, and 2017, after a DOJ Immigration Judge issued Carrasco-Polanco a final order of removal on October 14, 2014. He illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and location.

Abner Geovani Del Valle-Lemus, an illegal alien from Guatemala and 18th Street gang member, deported on August 28. His criminal history includes convictions for battery, possession of a stolen vehicle, vehicle theft, burglary, and vandalism. He illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and location. Although he was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol in June 2014, he was RELEASED into the country by the Obama Administration. A DOJ Immigration Judge issued Valle-Lemus a final order of removal on July 8, 2026.

Brian Damian Iglesias-Rodriguez, an illegal alien from Uruguay and Latin Kings gang member, deported on August 24. His criminal history includes convictions for assault, burglary of a vehicle, joyriding, unlawful control of a vehicle, shoplifting, receiving stolen property, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession or use of a controlled substance, obstruction of police, and criminal trespass. He claims to have illegally entered the United States through New York in 2002. A DOJ Immigration Judge issued Iglesias-Rodriguez a final order of removal on June 17, 2021, and he was deported on August 7, 2021. He illegally re-entered the United States � a felony � and was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol on October 28, 2021, and was deported again on February 9, 2022. He then illegally entered the United States for a THIRD time at an unknown date and location.

�The Trump Administration is working hard every single day to undo the damage caused by the Biden Administration�s reckless open-border policies,� Mullin said. �We will never apologize for deporting illegal aliens, because that�s how we save lives.�

An illegal alien accused of murdering a woman and strangling another in Lee County, Florida, this month had been released into the United States by former President Joe Biden�s administration.

On Wednesday, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials revealed that 28-year-old Whycliff Longin of Haiti illegally entered the U.S. through Florida in 2024. Despite entering illegally, the Biden administration released Longin into the U.S. interior.

�This dangerous illegal alien should have never been allowed into our country in the first place,� DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement. �If it weren�t for the Biden administration�s reckless open-border policies, Amadette Longin would still be alive. ICE has lodged a detainer and will work with our partners in Florida to make sure this killer is never released onto our streets ever again.�

As Breitbart News reported, the Lee County Sheriff�s Office arrested Longin for allegedly murdering his aunt, Amadette Longin, and strangling his cousin.

Whycliff�s cousin told police that she woke up to him strangling her. The woman said she broke free of Whycliff�s grip and hid in the residence�s bathroom. When police arrived on the scene, Whycliff was found and arrested at the duplex next door.

When officers searched the residence, they found Amadette Longin�s lifeless body. Amadette�s family told police she had given Whycliff a place to stay. Longin has been charged with murder, attempted murder, sexual battery, and burglary involving battery. He remains in Lee County custody.

On Monday, during a House Oversight task force hearing, �Protecting American Citizenship:

Confronting Birth Tourism,� Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) exposed birth tourism in the United States and forced an alleged founder of a company that peddles the practice to repeatedly plead the fifth.

The industry encourages women to travel to the United States specifically to give birth so the child automatically receives U.S. citizenship under the 14th Amendment�s Citizenship Clause. The child becomes a citizen at birth even if the parents have no lawful permanent status and later return home.

While giving birth on U.S. soil is not itself illegal, obtaining a visitor visa under false pretenses when the primary purpose is to secure citizenship for the child is prohibited.

Typically, women usually enter the US on B-1/B-2 visitor visas, and a commercial industry of �maternity hotels� or birthing centers offers packages that include housing, transportation, medical arrangements, and sometimes shopping or nanny services. Packages have been advertised in the $20,000�$100,000 range, often targeting clients from China, Russia, Turkey, Mexico, and elsewhere.

Pediatrician Dr. Wladimir Lorentz, who runs �Have My Baby in Miami,� was grilled by Rep. Gill during the hearing and pleaded the Fifth to every substantive question about marketing, client numbers, and whether he assisted people tied to foreign governments.

According to Local10News, the company, which marketed packages to foreign pregnant women who wanted to give birth in Miami so their children would receive U.S. citizenship, advertised �complete logistical support�: help with travel documents, housing, international health insurance, a step-by-step trip guide, obstetric care, and pediatric follow-up. Its website and social media claimed more than 2,000 deliveries of international patients.

Rep. Gill asked, �Is it true that your business, �Have my Baby in Miami,� marketed itself to and facilitated the entry of forgeign nationals seeking to come to the United States to give birth and to obtain birthright citizenship for their children?�

Lorentz replied, �On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer the questions on the grounds that a truthful answer may tend to incriminate me, and I invoke my rights under the 5th Amendment of the United States.�

Rep. Gill pressed on, �Ok. Witness invokes his Fifth Amendment right. I�ve your website right here that you�d spent quite a bit of time marketing which suggests you were, in fact, facilitating the entry of foreign nationals so that they could give birth and obtain citizenship for their children.�

He continued, �This is Have my Baby in Miami�s website. On the front page of it, the last line of the commentary states, �Now the dream of having a child in the United States is closer to reality than you ever imagined.�

On January 20, 2025, President Trump issued an Executive Order that sought to deny birthright citizenship to children of parents who were unlawfully present or on temporary visas.

The Supreme Court struck it down on June 30, 2026, in Trump v. Barbara.

Following the decision, in August, President Trump signed two new executive orders on birthright citizenship and birth tourism

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller then explained the two orders, one of which will �expand the definitions of people who are ineligible for birthright citizenship,� including �alien enemies of the United States, members of foreign terrorist organizations, and large categories of people who lobby and act on behalf of foreign governments.�

The other order bans birthright tourism, the practice by which people travel to the United States solely for the purpose of giving birth to a child on our soil. �No one in the world is anymore allowed to obtain a visa for this fraudulent purpose,� Miller said.

In Westport, Connecticut, residents are facing the devastating environmental impact of illegals refusing to follow local laws to protect marine life.

Although there are laws meant to limit the harvesting of shellfish in the state, to protect the population of clams, steamers, oysters, and mussels, illegals are ignoring the laws and creating what could become devastating for the shellfish population in the area.

The Connecticut Sentinel notes that Connecticut General Statutes � 26-228 “prohibits taking any shells or shellfish from the shores or waters of the state between sunset and sunrise. The penalty is a fine of $100–$500 and/or up to 30 days in jail. Westport’s recreational shellfishing regulations explicitly adopt this rule. Harvesting is allowed only from sunrise to sunset.”

A resource guide from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), notes, “Shellfish are important to Connecticut’s coastal communities and economies, the waters of Long Island Sound and the many species of marine wildlife that rely upon them.”

“The harvest and cultivation of shellfish along our shores provides local food, jobs, contributes to the maritime economy, and shellfisheries are an important part of the state’s history and culture.”

“Connecticut’s aquaculture industry is an important agriculture sector. Aquaculture is the 7th highest valued agriculture product in the state according to the USDA Census of Agriculture. Marine aquaculture is the largest sector.”

Per The Connecticut Sentinel:

A Westport recreational shellfish permit is required (annual or one-day). Children under 17 do not need their own permit but must be with a permitted adult. The permit must be displayed while harvesting.
Daily limit: � bushel of shellfish per person in any 24-hour period. “Unlimited” is not allowed.
Size limits apply (examples): hard clams (quahogs) must be at least 1.5 inches or 1 inch thick; oysters at least 3 inches; soft-shell clams 1.5 inches; razor clams 4 inches; mussels 2 inches. Undersized shellfish must be returned immediately.
Harvest is for personal/family consumption only, not sale.

Yet illegals are harvesting shellfish “by the hundreds” at night, which could wipe out the population for everyone.

The Department of Justice just ripped up a 28-year Clinton-era legal dodge that let sanctuary states hide illegal aliens from federal immigration authorities while collecting billions in welfare money meant for American families.

On Tuesday, the Justice Department�s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) issued a formal opinion holding that when a state takes Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) funds, the entire state government, not just the welfare office, must report to the Department of Homeland Security any person the state knows is not lawfully present in the United States.

That is not a new law. That is the 1996 welfare-reform statute Congress actually wrote. The Clinton Justice Department simply pretended it said something else.

�Congress wrote this requirement plainly,� said Assistant Attorney General T. Elliot Gaiser, who leads OLC. �When a state chooses to participate in TANF, it accepts the obligation to report illegal aliens in the United States. Tax dollars intended to help vulnerable Americans should not perversely encourage illegal entry into the United States, but rather should reinforce our laws and our borders.�

Deputy Assistant Attorney General Joshua Craddock, the author of the opinion, was even blunter: the new guidance �does not impose new obligations on states.� It �simply restores the original meaning of the statute Congress enacted.� States that take the money �must abide by federal law, and failure to comply may lead to serious consequences, including loss of program funding.�

All 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several U.S. territories take TANF and SSI. Federal TANF block grants alone exceed $16.4 billion a year.

Clinton Lawyers Re-Wrote �State� to Mean Almost Nobody

Section 404 of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 requires participating states to furnish DHS, at least four times a year and upon request, the name, address, and identifying information of any individual the state knows is unlawfully in the United States.

In 1998, the Clinton OLC decided �State� secretly meant only the single agency that cuts the TANF or SSI check. Motor-vehicle offices, prisons, hospitals, housing authorities, schools, and police departments were off the hook, even when they already knew someone was here illegally.

OLC now says that reading was a text-defying gift to open-borders states. Congress defined �State� as the sovereign entity, the 50 states, D.C., and listed territories, not one boutique welfare shop inside it.

Elsewhere in the same statute, Congress knew how to say �State agency� when it wanted a narrower target. In section 404, it didn�t.

The 1998 opinion also leaned on a 2000 regulation that claimed a state only �knows� someone is illegal after a formal removal order. OLC shredded that too. Knowledge includes DHS notice, an alien�s own admission, expired papers, or documents that on their face show no lawful status. Willful blindness is not a legal strategy.

Sanctuary politicians will scream �coercion.� OLC already answered them. TANF is a voluntary program Congress created with the reporting condition attached. The money at stake is a fraction of the Medicaid expansion the Supreme Court called coercive in NFIB v. Sebelius.

And the condition is related to the federal interest Congress wrote into PRWORA itself: stop ineligible noncitizens from drawing welfare and stop taxpayer benefits from becoming a magnet for illegal entry.

As The Gateway Pundit has documented for years, illegal-alien households are plugged into the American welfare system through loopholes, mixed-status cases, and blue-state defiance.

A Center for Immigration Studies analysis using 2024 survey data found 60.7 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants used at least one major welfare program. Non-citizen-headed households used traditional welfare at far higher rates than native-born households.

On TANF specifically, HHS data show �child-only� cases, cash going to a household headed by a parent who is ineligible because of immigration status, still soak up hundreds of millions.

California alone accounted for roughly 70 percent of those households and about $617.5 million in annual cash assistance, or 81 percent of the national total. New York, Massachusetts, and Washington followed.

States cannot demand billions from American taxpayers, shelter illegal aliens from federal authorities, and then pretend that Congress never imposed conditions on the money.

Senior U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. granted Rochester�s motion to dismiss on Tuesday and tossed the Justice Department�s amended complaint with prejudice, preventing the administration from simply revising and refiling the case in the same court.

Geraci also denied the Trump administration�s motion for summary judgment as moot.

Geraci was nominated to the federal bench by Barack Obama in 2012 and assumed senior status in 2023.

The Justice Department filed the lawsuit in April 2025 against Rochester, Democrat Mayor Malik Evans, the Rochester City Council, and Council President Miguel Mel�ndez Jr.

The administration argued that Rochester�s sanctuary policies intentionally obstruct federal immigration enforcement, unlawfully discriminate against federal authorities, and violate the Constitution�s Supremacy Clause.

The policies prohibit city personnel from using local resources to assist federal civil immigration enforcement except where specifically required by law.

Rochester police are also restricted from asking about immigration status, honoring civil immigration detainers, assisting ICE in taking certain individuals into custody, or cooperating with ICE, Customs and Border Protection, and Homeland Security Investigations without specific authorization.

The dispute erupted after Rochester police responded to an emergency request for assistance from federal agents during a March 24, 2025, traffic stop.

Ten Rochester officers reportedly assisted federal agents in removing three Guatemalan nationals from a van and taking them into custody.

Mayor Evans and Police Chief David Smith subsequently accused the officers of violating the city�s sanctuary policy and ordered them to undergo additional training.

One of the men, Wilson Oswaldo Galvan-Lopez, had previously been deported in 2023. He later pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the United States and was turned over to ICE.

Yet Rochester�s Democrat leaders treated the local officers, not the illegal alien who unlawfully returned to the country, as the problem.

In his ruling, Geraci rejected the Justice Department�s argument that two federal information-sharing statutes, 8 U.S.C. �� 1373 and 1644, override Rochester�s policies.

Geraci concluded that the statutes could not preempt local law because they regulate state and local government entities rather than private individuals.

�There is no way to read �� 1373 or 1644 as regulating anyone other than states and their political subdivisions,� Geraci wrote.

The judge also ruled that the administration failed to establish that Rochester�s policies unlawfully discriminate against the federal government.

According to Geraci, the city�s decision to withhold local assistance from ICE merely �decline[s] to ease the burden of civil immigration enforcement� and does not impose an unconstitutional burden on Washington.

Geraci further concluded that Rochester�s policies regulate only the conduct of city officials, not federal immigration agents themselves.

�They do not dictate how the federal government must act,� the judge wrote.

The court denied the Justice Department another opportunity to amend its complaint, noting that the administration had already been permitted to revise the lawsuit after Rochester expanded and codified its sanctuary protections in 2025.

Rochester�s original sanctuary policy dates back to 1986. The city reaffirmed it in 2017 and strengthened it while the federal litigation was underway.

Mayor Evans gloated over the ruling Wednesday, accusing the Trump administration of �grandstanding� and insisting that Rochester would not be �coerced into doing the federal government�s work of immigration enforcement.�

It remains unclear whether the Justice Department will appeal Geraci�s ruling to the Second Circuit.

Spain's interior minister has asked police to check a report that a government agency blamed Moroccan security forces for July's mass entry of migrants to the enclave of Ceuta, ministry sources said on Wednesday.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro S�nchez said on Monday that Morocco was not responsible, instead accusing Israel, Russia and the far right of spreading disinformation about the mass entry of around 70,000 migrants into Ceuta.

S�nchez told Cadena SER radio that "no intelligence service with which the Spanish government normally cooperates" had suggested "any involvement in one way or another of the Moroccan authorities."
But online newspaper El Espa�ol reported that Spain's National Centre for Immigration and Borders (CENIF) said the incident "was guided by Moroccan security forces...with an objective other than migration."
Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska has written to police chief Francisco Pardo to check on the information, which CENIF reportedly sent to a judge collecting information on the incident, said ministry sources.

"Any such information should have immediately been made available to the National Security Council...and to other bodies with powers in this field," the minister said in his letter.

As reported earlier this year, parents were outraged after 19-year-old Flores Ortiz groped over a dozen girls �in between their legs� at a high school in Fairfax County, Virginia.

19-year-old Israel Flores Ortiz was only in the 11th grade.

Why did authorities allow a 19-year-old man � who is in this country illegally � to sexually assault minor teen girls in the hallways at school for several months??

�There�s a group of about 12 individuals that have reported this assault,� one mother told 7News.

�It was all perpetrated by a single individual who is a stranger to the girls. He just sneakily walked up behind them and put his hand in between their legs,� she said.

�It was not just a butt smack or a butt grab. It was a groping of a private area. It had been occurring for several months,� she added.

ICE told WJLA reporter Nick Minock that Israel Flores Ortiz illegally entered the US in 2024 on Joe Biden�s open border invitation.

Flores Ortiz was charged with nine counts of assault and battery � a misdemeanor!

Parents were outraged that Flores Ortiz was not charged with sexual assault.

Earlier this year, a judge found Flores guilty on nine assault charges.

A ninth grader who was sexually assaulted by Flores told WJLA�s Nick Minock that she is constantly looking over her shoulder because she is afraid she will be groped again.

A Haitian migrant is accused of murdering a woman and strangling another woman outside of a duplex in Lee County, Florida.

Late last week, Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno announced the arrest of 28-year-old Whycliff Longin of Haiti for allegedly murdering his aunt, Amadette Longin, and strangling his cousin.

Whycliff�s cousin told police that she woke up to him strangling her. The woman said she broke free of Whycliff�s grip and hid in the residence�s bathroom.

When police arrived on the scene, Whycliff was found and arrested at the duplex next door. When officers searched the residence, they found Amadette Longin�s lifeless body. Amadette�s family told police that she had given Whycliff a place to stay.

Longin has been charged with murder, attempted murder, sexual battery, and burglary involving battery. He remains in Lee County custody and Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer against him.

President Donald Trump�s Department of Justice (DOJ) has successfully revoked naturalized American citizenship from an Indian immigrant convicted of raping a woman at knifepoint in May 2011 in New York City.

�This Department took this case across the finish line, and we will continue to move expeditiously on denaturalization referrals,� Attorney General Todd Blanche said. �Fraudulently obtained citizenship will not protect criminals from justice.�

Gurmeet Singh first entered the United States from India in February 1992 on a six-month visitor visa.

Despite overstaying his visa for years, Singh was able to secure a green card after he was sponsored for a family-based visa in June 2000.

Before filing his paperwork to naturalize, Singh was working as a cab driver when he picked up a woman who fell asleep during her ride, only to bring her to a location with no witnesses.

The woman woke up to Singh on top of her with a knife to her throat. Singh threatened her, tied her up, gagged her, and blindfolded her before ripping her clothes off and raping her. The woman was able to break free and seek help.

Is this the year that Gov. Gavin Newsom allows students without legal status to legally work at California�s public colleges and universities?
A state bill with wide support from Democrats but opposed by Republicans seeks to do just that by adopting an untested legal theory that argues a 1980s federal law banning employment for people without legal status doesn�t apply to state agencies. But university leaders and Newsom worry that acting on the theory could put the state on another collision course with the Trump administration.
The bill easily cleared the Legislature Friday, including a yes vote from one Republican. The bill now heads to Newsom�s desk.
Assembly Bill 713 by Assemblymember Jos� Luis Solache, a Democrat from Lakewood, is seemingly straightforward: The University of California, California State University and community colleges cannot disqualify students without legal status from campus employment. If it becomes law, it would kick in Jan. 6.

The systems together enrolled an estimated 60,000 students without legal status in 2023 and most were in the community colleges. Some attend private colleges and wouldn�t be covered by the bill.

Leading the charge for this right to work on campuses are students without legal status, immigration rights groups and legal scholars. Access to safe working conditions for students without legal status is a high priority because they�re ineligible for federal Pell grants � up to $7,400 annually � and federal student loans that come with more borrower protections than ones offered by private lenders. California awards eligible in-state students tuition waivers regardless of immigration status, so many students without legal status can at least attend a public institution tuition-free.

�While California has a longstanding commitment to expanding access, affordability, and student success in higher education, our undocumented students continue to face significant financial and structural barriers,� Solache said at a bill hearing in June.
Newsom vetoed a similar bill in 2024, echoing a chief worry put forward by the University of California: Any effort to employ students without proper status would incur the wrath of the Trump administration, which could attempt to pull some or all of the $17 billion in annual federal support the system gets.

The state�s Department of Finance is recommending a no vote on Solache�s bill. The fear of federal litigation and budget cuts are the main reasons why.
The UC itself abandoned its own review of employing students without legal status in 2024 for those reasons. Students at the public meeting cried and shouted at the board�s regents when they made the decision.
Some Republicans cited the risk of the Trump administration cutting federal higher education funding as a reason for their opposition to the current bill.

�If we�re going to move something forward like this that then threatens 100% of all of the students, I think that�s irresponsible for us as legislators,� said Assemblymember David Tangipa, a Republican from Fresno, at a January bill hearing. He voted no on the bill Friday.

After Newsom vetoed the 2024 bill, which sailed through the Legislature with minimal opposition, some students sued the UC. A state appellate court ruled that UC�s argument that the federal government might sue the system was an abuse of discretion under the state�s law banning employment and housing discrimination. The court said UC�s policy of not hiring students without legal status was legally indefensible unless it can show that federal law requires the UC to continue its policy of not hiring them. The UC appealed, but the state Supreme Court let the appellate ruling stand.
The court ordered UC to pay more than $500,000 in legal fees on behalf of the plaintiffs, a student and a former lecturer.
It�s unclear if Solache�s bill can even force the UC to comply if it becomes law. Since 1879 the state constitution has granted the system a high degree of autonomy.
What is the legal theory being tested?

The bill, like its predecessor that Newsom vetoed, takes its cues from a team of UCLA scholars who advanced a theory in 2022 that a federal law banning employers from hiring workers without legal status doesn�t apply to state employers. The architects of the legal argument say the law in question, 1986�s Immigration Reform and Control Act, never actually listed state agencies as employers covered by the law.
Other laws passed by Congress clearly included states in restrictions that also applied to the private sector or federal employers. The omission, the UCLA scholars say, means Congress never intended to tie the hands of state agencies on whom they can hire. An analyst at the state Senate�s judiciary committee also noted that Congress may be unable to dictate whom states can hire, because that undermines protections for states� rights.
Student advocates then persuaded the UC Board of Regents to consider adopting that legal theory so students without legal status could obtain campus jobs. But momentum for that policy stalled, culminating with the UC dropping the plan.
Student voice

Some students have found a way to work while enrolled despite the ban on campus jobs.
Working without proper immigration status is not illegal, but employers cannot knowingly employ individuals who lack proper legal status, wrote University of Oklahoma law professor Kit Johnson in a 2022 law article. Employers often take advantage of the legal precarity of immigrants without legal status by paying them less than they�d earn with proper legal status.
A legal workaround, she writes, is for such immigrants to form limited liability companies, or LLCs. That business structure makes them consultants hired for a job, as opposed to employees.
Some students without legal status at the UC did just that, or they formed similarly structured cooperatives. But not every campus student can form an LLC or knows to do that.
Is student data safe from federal inquiry?

Backers of Solache�s bill and the Senate�s judiciary committee analysis say students without legal status employed at a campus aren�t at greater risk of immigration action, despite concerns raised by skeptics of the proposed policy to hire them. The judiciary committee wrote that state agencies arguably aren�t required to verify employment eligibility for roles that aren�t funded by the federal government. They also say federal and state laws bar universities from sharing personal student information without that student�s consent.
But public California universities have shared student and personnel information with the federal government under the Trump administration�s investigations into alleged campus antisemitism. Critics say the administration exploited antisemitism accusations to coerce campuses across the country into settlements that align with the conservative values of the White House. The Cal State system settled with staff and faculty unions after they sued over the disclosure of personal information, promising to alert workers before their information is released to federal authorities investigating antisemitism.
Advocates of the bill also argue that the risk of apprehension and deportation is not reason enough to oppose it. Students understand the risk and that doesn�t change if they work legally or not.
Bill addresses questions the appellate court wouldn�t

As a result of the lawsuit students and advocates filed against the UC, the court sided with the plaintiffs because it found that the university�s employment policy discriminated against students based on their immigration status, which state law prohibits. It challenged the UC to provide an argument for why it thinks the federal government would go after the system for establishing this policy. Importantly, the court did not order the UC to begin hiring students without legal status.

�The UC now has to either end the discrimination against undocumented students or defend its decision to do so by reference to federal law, neither of which it has done to date,� wrote in an email Ahilan Arulanantham, one of the UCLA scholars behind the legal theory and a counsel in the plaintiffs� lawsuit against the UC.
Omar Rodriguez, a UC spokesperson, wrote in an email that the �UC is evaluating its options in light of the court�s ruling and will take appropriate action when that evaluation has concluded.�
�UC does not have a position on AB 713,� he added.

President Joe Biden and his deputies are responsible for the hundreds of Americans killed by migrant truckers, Homeland Security chief Markwayne Mullin told reporters during a Monday press conference.

�These individuals are dangerous, and because of the failure from the previous administration, from the Biden administration, they�ve killed hundreds of people, and unfortunately injured thousands,� he said.

Officials told the media that migrant truckers have killed 239 Americans.

Mullin continued:

Thank God, President Trump was elected by the American people to restore law and order and safety back onto our streets. Because one death, one permanent injury, is one too many, and it was 100 percent preventable. Who, in the Biden administration, thought it was a great idea to put people on the streets that couldn�t read our road signs, driving 80,000 pound rigs, without even having to take an English test or a driving test?

Biden�s border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, welcomed millions of migrants and steered them into accommodation, legal protections, and jobs such as highway trucking. He repeatedly justified the policy of extracting migrants from poor countries as an economic strategy to grow the economy via �Bidenomics.�

Biden�s migrants have also killed many Americans in crimes and drunk-driving accidents, as well as when driving 18-wheelers.

But Mayorkas and other Biden deputies lured thousands of migrants to their deaths on the trek northwards by dangling easy entry into the United States. They also stood by while many migrants died while working off-the-books for unsupervised companies.

A reporter at the press conference pushed back against Mullin�s criticism of Biden�s welcome for dangerous migrant truckers, prompting an angry response from both Mullin and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

�The [conversation] here has been strongly about illegals [and] foreign drivers, but [they] account, according to U.S. DOT stats I see, for one percent of the [safety] issue,� the reporter said.

Mullin answered, while pointing to an injured girl on the side of the stage:

Are you saying 1 percent is okay? Because � 1 percent is one [person] too many � Every single illegal that maims or kills an individual is 100 percent preventable. I�m trying to prevent every one of them. I don�t care if it�s a fraction of 1 percent � I�m coming after you. I�m removing you from the road because it should never take place � Every death at the hands of an illegal is one too many � Are you willing to take that 1 percent if it was your daughter?

This does have to do with those who�ve come into the country illegally, but it also has to do with people who are in the country lawfully, but they�re not being trained, and they�re not following the laws and the rules we�ve set up to keep Americans safe on the roadway.

Establishment media outlets minimized or ignored the dramatic press conference.

Duffy and his deputies have pulled more than 30,000 drivers off the road, closed down more than 250 driving schools, and counted 239 deaths from migrant drivers.

More Than Half of Immigrant-Led Households Receive Some Type of Welfare Benefit

Other groups with high participation rates include Somali households at 42.4%, Iraqi households at 34.8%, Dominican households at 34.4%, and Caribbean households at 28.2%.

Democrats are fond of claiming that illegal immigrants are not eligible for welfare and that illegal immigration, and immigration in general, represents a net gain for U.S. taxpayers. The term �welfare� is used specifically to narrow the scope.

The reality, however, is that legal and illegal immigrants receive hundreds of billions of dollars in federal and state assistance each year through a variety of programs, including Medicaid, food assistance programs, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), housing assistance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), SNAP, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), school meal programs, the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the Children�s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicare, and Affordable Care Act premium tax credits.

Furthermore, when it comes specifically to welfare, Democrats ignore the fact that families headed by illegal immigrant parents can receive benefits if they have U.S.-citizen children. Because the parents often work off the books, they can claim to have no income, making their children eligible for welfare benefits.

A separate analysis of 2024 Survey of Income and Program Participation data, published in February 2026 by the Center for Immigration Studies, found that 52.7% of immigrant-headed households used one or more major welfare programs, compared with 37.3% of U.S.-born-headed households. The largest gaps were in Medicaid use, at 39% versus 27%, and food assistance, at 35% versus 22%.

Among households headed specifically by illegal immigrants, the report found an overall welfare participation rate of 60.7%. One data point often cited to support the false claim that immigrants use benefits at a lower rate than native-born citizens is that SSI and housing assistance use among this group is lower than among U.S.-born households. However, the lower rate of SSI use is only because illegal aliens are largely barred from receiving SSI, although some still receive it through various means. As for housing benefits, U.S.-citizen children of immigrants, including illegal immigrants, qualify for housing assistance, so their parents do not need to apply for it themselves.

A follow-up Center for Immigration Studies report published in June 2026, using pooled 2021-2025 Current Population Survey data, narrowed the focus to non-citizen-headed households, roughly half of them illegal aliens. It found 47% of non-citizen households used one or more traditional welfare programs (TANF, SSI, SNAP, WIC, school meals, Medicaid, or housing assistance), compared with 28% for U.S.-born households, rising to 57% versus 34% once eligibility for the Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit was included.

State-level gaps were widest in Maryland, Arizona, New York, and North Carolina, and non-citizen households in every one of the highest-immigration states, including New York, California, Texas, and Florida, used traditional welfare or qualified for the tax credits at rates 20 or more percentage points above U.S.-born households in the same state.

The elevated SNAP rates for Afghan, Iraqi, and Somali households line up with federal eligibility rules that predate 2025. The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act, codified at 8 U.S.C. � 1641, defines �qualified immigrants� eligible for federal benefits as lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, individuals granted withholding of removal, certain survivors of trafficking or domestic violence, and certain parolees present for at least one year.

This is confirmed by a National Immigration Forum fact sheet and a National Immigration Law Center guide.

Refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, trafficking survivors, and Iraqi and Afghan nationals holding Special Immigrant Visas were exempt from the five-year waiting period that otherwise applies to lawful permanent residents seeking SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and other federal benefits. For SSI specifically, that same �humanitarian� eligibility runs out after seven years from the date a person obtains the qualifying status, a limit Congress imposed in 1996 on the assumption recipients would naturalize before then. Illegal immigrants have never been eligible for SNAP, non-emergency Medicaid, TANF, CHIP, or SSI under federal law.

A July 2025 federal reconciliation act tightened these rules further. Effective November 1, 2025, SNAP eligibility narrowed to lawful permanent residents, Cuban and Haitian entrants, and people residing under a Compact of Free Association, removing refugees, asylees, and Special Immigrant Visa holders from the program going forward. Corresponding restrictions on Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, and Affordable Care Act premium tax credits take effect on a staggered schedule through 2027. The Ellis Island Argument

The Ellis Island comparison does not excuse illegal immigration, nor does it justify the percentage of legal and illegal immigrants who receive public benefits.

Critics of immigration enforcement often point out that 33% to 40% of Americans have at least one ancestor among the 12 million immigrants who passed through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954, largely during the Great Wave of immigration from 1880 to 1924. Americans with Italian family names, in particular, are called racists and hypocrites for opposing illegal immigration and the abuse of public benefits by immigrants.

However, critics are ignoring historical facts. During the Great Wave, entry depended on proving an immigrant would not need public support. Immigrants processed at Ellis Island were required to show they carried enough money to avoid being classified as likely to become a public charge. The required amount was typically $18 to $25. For a typical steerage-class immigrant, saving that sum, on top of the $25 to $30 cost of passage, took months or even years.

A major difference between today�s illegal immigration and legal immigration through Ellis Island was that steamship companies had a financial incentive to screen passengers before departure. Under the Immigration Act of 1891, carriers were legally required to return rejected immigrants to their home countries at their own expense, and could be fined $100 for every passenger denied entry for a preventable reason, such as a contagious disease. Agents for the major steamship lines were held personally accountable by their companies for the passengers they booked and risked losing their agencies if they transported someone who fell into an excluded category.

The system worked by weeding out those immigrants who would become a burden on the nation, unlike during the years of the Great Invasion caused by Joe Biden�s open-border policy. Steamship companies at the German port of Bremen refused to sell tickets to an estimated 8,000 prospective immigrants in 1905 alone, according to the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.

Historians generally credit this pre-screening with keeping Ellis Island�s ultimate exclusion rate to only about 2% of arrivals, since most people likely to be turned away were stopped before they ever boarded.

Illegal immigration has no such vetting system, and immigrants entering the country, legally or illegally, who then go on to receive public benefits do not benefit the country.

The Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have placed a detainer on a Venezuelan immigrant. Twenty-nine-year-old Venezuelan native Yorgelis Alexandra Matos-Bravo, who resided in Chicago, was accused of reckless driving and speeding, which allegedly resulted in a hit-and-run. The victim was a preteen boy who was fatally struck in the incident and suffered injuries to his right hand and head.

Initially, Matos-Bravo fled the scene, only to return at the behest of her family members. It was then that she allegedly admitted to hitting the child. After being charged in connection with the incident, local police booked Matos-Bravo into a Pennsylvania jail. DHS placed an ICE detainer on Matos-Bravo, asking authorities not to release her from custody. Officials have identified her as a potential threat to public safety.

ICE Detainer Requested For Illegal Immigrant
Announcing the detainer against the hit-and-run suspect, the Department of Homeland Security asked Pennsylvania authorities not to release her. The department’s head, Markwayne Mullins, alleged that the 29-year-old should never have been allowed into the country in the first place. He further linked the tragic crash involving the juvenile with state and federal immigration policies, highlighting what he described as major loopholes of the previous government.

Official records show that the hit-and-run took place on Aug. 23 in Charleroi. Matos-Bravo, at the time, was driving her 2016 red Chevrolet Cruze, which was speeding southbound on Fallowfield Avenue. Meanwhile, the victim, a 13-year-old boy, was crossing Third Street and Fallowfield Avenue. As the car lost control and continued speeding, the teen was struck. The victim was transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital and then to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He survived his injuries.

Hit-and-Run Suspect Returned To Face Charges
In the meantime, Matos-Bravo initially fled the scene after striking the child. But she was later convinced by her family members to return to the scene and admit her mistake. She did so and was then charged by Charleroi police with aggravated assault—specifically, involving a victim under 13.

The other charges she faced included recklessly endangering another person, accident involving damage to a vehicle or property, disorderly conduct, reckless driving, careless driving and speeding.

Authorities later discovered Matos-Bravo’s flagged immigration status. She had illegally entered the United States through Texas in July 2022. According to DHS, despite being an undocumented immigrant, she was allowed to stay in the country and was even issued a valid driver’s license registered in Illinois.

DHS Blames Loosened Policies From Biden Era
In its official statement on social media dated Aug. 29, the Department of Homeland Security openly blamed the Biden-era administration for allowing a person like Matos-Bravo to enter the United States in the first place. Furthermore, DHS accused Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker of easily issuing a driver’s license to an undocumented immigrant who also stands accused of a criminal offense.

The statement read, “This illegal alien who entered our nation under the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION injured a CHILD in a hit-and-run in Pennsylvania. Yorgelis Alexandra Matos-Bravo, from Venezuela, should have NEVER been on our roads–but @GovPritzker’s sanctuary Illinois issued her a DRIVER’S LICENSE. The Psychology Behind Republicans Who Support Amnesty for Illegals

I am been baffled by the mentality of pro-amnesty Republicans who, however many times they are shut down, repeatedly come back for more after a short interval. It is as if they are triggered by a Tourette�s tic that can only be suppressed momentarily before manifesting itself again.

On many issues, Republicans have either conceded or put their preferences on extended hold. Sadly, one must acknowledge that gay marriage, the flat tax, privatizing Social Security, and abolishing the Department of Education may fall into this category.

Yet there is a breed of Republican who can withdraw on those and other issues, but when it comes to amnesty for illegal aliens, they just cannot let it go.

What is the psychology behind this?

Amnesty Republicans typically suffer from two dark malign personality traits: an unsavory need for approval from elites and a desire for intimacy with the Chamber of Commerce. What else could explain forsaking a loving long-term relationship with the GOP base in favor of a Tinder date with the owner of a meat packing plant?

What psychologists call �Denialism� also seems to be at work.

Absent making categorical opposition to amnesty and illegal immigration the paramount issue in his first campaign, Donald J. Trump would not have gotten more than about 8 percent of the vote in the Iowa caucuses or New Hampshire primary. Without the Biden border debacle, he could not have risen from the political dead to win his second term.

Yet the amnesty Republicans are in denial about the enduring primacy of Trump�s signature issue.

They seem to think that after they are swatted down on amnesty, they just need to wait a short time before beating the drum again.

It is as if the Trump phenomenon never happened or was a passing flight of fancy, and as soon as there is the slightest sign of a chink in Trump�s armor, it is time for amnesty again!

After Trump�s second victory, they piped down and shelved the issue, but as soon as the president�s approval ratings ticked down in 2026, they began again, led by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and various Congressional representatives. Newt Gingrich and Sean Hannity would have never dared to advocate amnesty on morning of Wednesday, November 6, 2024, but in 2026 they slithered off down into the amnesty hole.

Similarly, after 911, a chastened Wall Street Journal editorial page, which had previously advocated a constitutional amendment providing that �there will be open borders,� quietly turned tail, but it only lasted for so long.

For example, editorial board member Dan Henniger recently gave a �Hit of the Week� on the Journal�s Fox show to the late Lindsey Graham for his efforts in the failed 2013 �Gang of Eight� amnesty gambit.

With all that he could have cited as an epitaph for Graham, he came up with that?

The Journal also appears to be beset by the �sunk cost fallacy,� a cognitive condition suffered by an individual who has devoted so much effort to an unsuccessful endeavor or cause that he sinks more resources into it, even when logic would dictate otherwise. Coming from the most extreme end of the amnesty crowd, the Journal poured many years into outright �open borders� advocacy, so it cannot cut its losses.

Finally, amnesty Republicans usually harbor the belief that they will curry favor with recipients of amnesty and turn them into GOP voters, which would appear to be the product of either a manic episode per bipolar syndrome or delusions per schizophrenia.

In the poker game of politics, the Democrats would say, �I�ll match you amnesty and raise you all manner of transfer payments and entitlements.� Who do you think poor recent amnesty recipients will be voting for then?

Italy's government announced a 15-day extension to the suspension of the Schengen agreement with Spain after the mass influx of at least 72,000 migrants from Morocco entered the Spanish territory of Ceuta last month.

"The situation in Ceuta is anything but improved. We will make a calm assessment and we will reflect on the final decision on the very day the measure expires, which will be 31 August," said the Interior Minister in an interview with the news programme TG1.
Piantedosi had reiterated that there is no desire for a clash with Madrid and that the checks have concerned only third-country nationals, with no impact on Italians, Spaniards or other Europeans.
In recent days, Spain's Foreign Minister Manuel Albares has described the Italian government's move as "an unjustified and unjustifiable affront to the dignity of Spaniards", motivated solely by electoral considerations.

A federal judge on Friday declared that the Trump administration�s efforts to deport noncitizens for political speech run counter to the Constitution�s First and Fifth Amendments, the latest legal rebuke of the White House�s expansive immigration agenda.
Northern District of California Judge No�l Wise, an appointee of former President Joe Biden, sided with the Stanford Daily, which sued Secretary of State Marco Rubio, arguing that his use of the Immigration and Nationality Act to deport noncitizen students had foreign students refraining from writing opinion pieces critical of the administration.

�In the United States, freedom of speech belongs to the people,� Wise wrote in her opinion. �It is not the government�s to take.�

Another plaintiff was an unnamed woman who is a lawful noncitizen in the U.S. who was previously in the country on a student visa at a school that was not Stanford and �has refrained from publishing and voicing her true opinions regarding Palestine and Israel and has deleted a social media account to guard against retaliation for past expression,� according to court documents.

A growing body of evidence reveals that Xavier Becerra, the current frontrunner for California governor, has deep ties to a network of militant activists and foreign agents who have a history of meddling in U.S. elections, mobilizing pro-immigration activism, and undermining American sovereignty.

Throughout his career, Becerra has framed himself as an advocate for migrants. What is less apparent is his longtime alliance with radical activist NGOs whose political activity is deeply integrated and carefully coordinated with America�s southern neighbor: Mexico.

Mexico has been building political power within the U.S. through its vast network of more than 50 consulates, which collectively form the infrastructure of a sophisticated campaign to mobilize political action, migrant advocacy, and get-out-the-vote efforts inside American borders for the benefit of Mexico, according to research by the Government Accountability Institute (GAI).

Such activity is expressly forbidden by international laws, which prohibit foreign consulates from interfering in the domestic affairs of their host countries.

A new investigation by GAI has revealed that the network of radical migrant nonprofits tied to Xavier Becerra is deeply embedded within this same foreign network.

CHIRLA: �My Family�

The investigation comes on the heels of a recent endorsement of Becerra by the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), a group that was investigated by the House Judiciary last summer amid suspicions that it was using taxpayer funds to support protest activity in Los Angeles.

Mexico�s own former Foreign Minister stated it bluntly: �We are already giving instructions to our consulates that they begin propagating militant activities � if you will � in their communities.�

In 1994, the Mexican consulate in Los Angeles worked with CHIRLA to help build a legal case against California�s Proposition 187, which barred illegal immigrants from receiving public benefits.

Since that time, Mexican officials have opened voter registration centers on consulate grounds, coordinated with migrant advocacy and anti-ICE organizers across the country, and even provided bond training to attorneys as part of what one consulate described as a �collaborative effort to respond to ICE detention of immigrants.�

Such activity, which is forbidden under the framework of the Vienna Convention, has caught the eye of the Trump administration. The State Department recently launched a national security review of all 53 Mexican consulates amid concerns of political meddling by consular offices.

CHIRLA�s coordination with such Mexican outposts includes hosting joint events in which CHIRLA and consular officials teach illegal immigrants forensic strategies for avoiding deportation.

The group also operates multiple offices in Mexico, where it organizes seminars preparing migrants before they even enter the United States, part of what California�s DOGE project calls a �civic pipeline� from immigration services to Democratic voter mobilization.

Notably, CHIRLA collaborates with Mexico�s LA consulate on both get-out-the-vote campaigns and naturalization services. In 2024, CHIRLA opened a Mobile Voting Center in the heart of Los Angeles, just a few blocks away from the Mexican consulate there. At that same location, the group provides free weekly �Know Your Rights� workshops for anyone fearing deportation, regardless of immigration status.

More recently, CHIRLA has been accused of engaging in an orchestrated and well-coordinated anti-ICE campaign, dispatching activists to interfere with federal immigration enforcement operations in real time, according to congressional testimony. The group has even called for the dismantling of the Department of Homeland Security entirely and the repeal of laws that �criminalize migration.�

At the CHIRLA endorsement event, Becerra referred to the group as �my family.� It was a fitting description. CHIRLA has advocated for Becerra since 2016, when he became California�s Attorney General, and he has spoken at CHIRLA�s annual gala events.

The Consulate Network

CHIRLA is just the tip of the iceberg.

UnidosUS, formerly the National Council of La Raza, has been a Becerra ally for decades. His daughter Clarissa interned there in 2012, and Unidos championed Becerra�s nomination as Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary in 2020. He has also served as a keynote speaker for Unidos� annual conferences, with his travel and expenses fully paid for by the group.

Unidos was founded by militant Chicano liberation activists in the 1960s. Among the most prominent figures in the group�s early network was Jose Angel Gutierrez, who had declared at the time: �We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him.�

Unidos� longtime director, Raul Yzaguirre, for whom the organization�s Washington headquarters is named, personally advised Mexican President Vicente Fox to replace the word �amnesty� with softer language like �regularization� to make mass legalization of illegal immigrants more palatable to the American public.

Such correspondence is not merely subversive. It may also be illegal.

According to the Logan Act, no U.S. citizen may communicate with any foreign government or official with the intent to influence the conduct of such parties �in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States.�

Despite this, Mexico has worked closely with Unidos since at least 1989, when Mexican President Carlos Salinas met with Unidos leadership in Washington to establish what Mexico�s own Foreign Ministry called an �instrument of Mexican foreign policy.� Yzaguirre himself confirmed that Unidos took annual delegations of Chicano and Latino representatives to meet with their counterparts in Mexico City to further Mexico�s objectives.

By the mid-2000s, Unidos was working directly with the Mexican government to protect Mexican migrants living in the U.S.

Around that same time, Mexico�s consulates were publishing and distributing comic book-style guides teaching migrants how to cross the U.S. border illegally and evade law enforcement once inside.

Unidos� work with Mexican consulate offices is ongoing. Last year a Unidos director attended a Mexican consulate meeting in Phoenix centered on countering the incoming Trump administration�s immigration enforcement policies. In 2004, that same consulate urged Hispanic voters to oppose Arizona�s Proposition 200, a proof-of-citizenship requirement. It was a clear-cut example of a Mexican consulate meddling in U.S. elections.

One of the more personal nodes within Becerra�s consulate connections is the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (CRLAF), a group that has coordinated joint citizenship events with Mexico�s consulates and promoted Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum�s controversial emergency phone app for Mexican migrants fearing deportation from the US.

According to a report from Mexico�s own Sacramento consulate, consular officials work directly with both CRLAF and CHIRLA to provide free consultations for illegal immigrants, including workshops for beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

CRLAF employed two of Becerra�s daughters and co-signed legal briefs supporting Becerra�s immigration-related lawsuits when he was Attorney General. When Becerra spoke at a CRLAF gala in 2022, it was Mexico�s Consul General in Sacramento, Liliana Ferrer, who introduced him to the stage.

The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) is another prominent actor in this network.

Becerra worked at MALDEF when he was a law student at Stanford and has maintained ties to the organization ever since.

MALDEF has advocated on migrant policies alongside Mexico�s consulates and was founded by an activist who publicly bragged about �taking over� all political institutions in California. Those who disagreed, he added, �should go back to Europe.�

That sentiment is not limited to radical organizers. According to Breitbart Senior Contributor and GAI President Peter Schweizer, the Mexican government has leveraged its consulate network to turn migrants into a domestic political force, in service of what Mexican leaders have described as the reclamation of the American Southwest. Schweizer noted that in 2024, Mexican leaders explicitly referred to MALDEF and Unidos as vehicles for �collective action� toward that effort.

While Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has denied the consulate allegations, Schweizer has pointed out that Mexico�s own consul general in Chicago admitted to joining forces with anti-Trump organizations to fight the Trump administration.

Becerra�s extensive ties and coordination with this network reveal not only a shared domestic agenda in the U.S. but a fundamental international ideology as well.

In 2004, he traveled to Mexico City to participate in a conference series with Mexico�s top diplomats to discuss the �silent integration� of North America. A congressional witness later described the conference as a coordinated effort to undermine U.S. sovereignty in Latin America.

On September 11, 2017, Becerra attended a private luncheon with some of the same Mexican diplomats from the 2004 meeting, who were on a mission to engage their U.S. allies and mobilize an emergency response to the recently terminated DACA program.

That very same day, Becerra filed a lawsuit that ultimately prevented President Trump from terminating DACA.

"I've done this a long time and haven't seen one quite like this one, I have to say."

So said U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth, who has sat on the D.C. federal court bench since Ronald Reagan appointed him in 1987, last April.

What exactly stumped the senior judge that day? Another pending mistrial in the government's prosecution of two of MS-13's most notorious gang leaders.

For the second time in five months, a D.C. jury refused to convict Moises Rivera-Luna and Tokiro Ramirez on two racketeering conspiracy counts originating from a 2011 federal indictment (read: brought by the Obama DOJ, not Trump's) for criminal gang activity in Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas. It appears from the official court docket that the pair became fugitives before the case could go to trial back then.

But in March 2025, the Trump administration extradited Rivera-Luna from Guatemala to finally face his day in court; Ramirez had been extradited from Honduras in 2022.

"Rivera-Luna is alleged to be an international leader of MS-13 who was sending orders and advice to an MS-13 clique operating in the Washington area via cellular telephone calls from his prison cell in El Salvador," a March 2025 DOJ press release stated. "The indictment alleges that he and another alleged MS-13 leader... also incarcerated in El Salvador directed a coalition of MS-13 cliques to be formed in the Washington area. They advised local clique members that the coalition's aim was to seek and kill MS-13 members who were found to be cooperating with law enforcement officials." The indictment also accused the defendants of "narcotics distribution, extortion, [and] robberies."

Both men pleaded not guilty; the first trial began on December 2, 2025, just a few weeks after the shooting of two D.C. National Guardsmen, which resulted in the death of one, amid strong public opposition of the Guard's presence in the nation's capital. The start of the trial also coincided with nationwide anti-ICE protests including in Washington. And a group called "Free DC" at the time was hosting online seminars as part of its Trump 2.0 resistance operation, advising D.C. residents how to serve on juries to "influence outcomes and help create a more equitable legal process."

Free MS-13 to Show Trump!

Jury deliberations in the Rivera/Ramirez case began December 15, 2025. In a note to Judge Lamberth the following day, the foreperson informed the judge that despite "robust debate," the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. "One juror has expressed an inability to be impartial in their review of the facts and an unwillingness to continue deliberations in a productive manner," the foreperson disclosed.

Lamberth declared a mistrial on December 17, 2025. Vive la r�sistance!

Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, immediately sought to retry the pair. The second trial started on April; jury deliberations began on April 15. History, however, would repeat itself with a note from the jury foreperson just a few hours later, disclosing that the panel was "divided and unable to come to a consensus." They continued to debate but the situation worsened in the jury room:

Lamberth responded with bewilderment, admitting the situation raised profound legal questions. "It's an odd note because their disclosure of the split, assuming that's what it is, is disclosing jury misconduct that would entitle an inquiry into the misconduct of the juror and possible replacement and restart of jury deliberations," he told prosecutors and defense attorneys during an April 17 hearing. "A juror who says at the outset they will not have any problem with never agreeing on a verdict has a problem with me."

The judge released the jury for the weekend and asked both sides to research how to handle such an impasse. But the jury came back with another blow to the government on April 20:

Lamberth called the foreperson into the courtroom to ask what was going on. "For one of the counts, we were in agreement and then this morning, we weren't," the foreperson disclosed. "And then I know we have one juror who is very firm on their stance and doesn't really want to deliberate further on the others. But there are two different jurors, if that makes sense."

Lamberth declared another mistrial that day.

Pirro v Graves: Not Even Close...and Lamberth Knows Exactly Why

So despite breathless headlines declaring Pirro a loser in court once again, it appears the jury in both cases was prepared to convict but prevented from doing so by activist jurors who unabashedly declared their intention to sabotage a guilty verdict. (It is unclear why Lamberth, seeing this happen yet again in the case, did not make an Allen charge to the jury or open an investigation into the rogue jurors. But as part of the ongoing judicial coup against the president, Lamberth possibly wanted to hand the Trump administration another loss.)

Further, Lamberth knows exactly why he hasn't seen "one quite like this." Because it never happened prior to Trump winning the 2024 election and proceeding to use his DOJ, rather than being hijacked by saboteurs like the first time around, to pursue his policy agenda and round up bad guys, white collar and otherwise.

Compare the outcome of Pirro's cases before DC juries to the track record of Matthew Graves, her predecessor in the Biden administration. Not only did Graves secure a 100 percent conviction rate of January 6 defendants before DC juries, those guilty verdicts were returned in record time. Graves won easy convictions in the misdemeanor cases against Trump advisors Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, resulting in prison time for both.

But the same office now struggles to win convictions in those same courtrooms-and the only thing that has changed is the name on the letterhead. Not only have DC juries acquitted or declared a hung jury in at least seven federal cases since her tenure began (not including this one), the DC grand jury has rejected Pirro's pursuit of several indictments including charges against the so-called "Seditious Six."

And no one knows this massive disparity more than Judge Lamberth, who presided over dozens of J6 cases and sent many to federal prison. His feigned shock as to why juries--both grand and petit--are letting criminals off the hook is nothing more than a hollow attempt to pretend the judicial system in Washington, DC resembles anything close to fair, apolitical proceedings.

Lamberth, and Pirro, will get another chance to convict the dangerous gang lords next month. Is the third time a charm? Inside the grotesquely partisan courthouse sitting in the heart of the nation's capital, the answer is probably, no.

A Biden-appointed federal judge in California just handed the campus intifada another gift.

On Friday, U.S. District Judge No�l Wise, a Joe Biden leftover, ruled that the Trump administration violated the First Amendment when it used national-security and foreign-policy authority to revoke the legal status of foreign students who spent the last two years turning American campuses into open-air Hamas rallies.

Wise, sitting in the Northern District of California, sided with The Stanford Daily and two unnamed international student journalists. They claimed Secretary of State Marco Rubio�s visa revocations �chilled� their speech. The judge agreed.

In a 90-page opinion she declared that the Immigration and Nationality Act provisions Rubio used, the same tools Congress wrote to keep out people whose presence harms U.S. foreign policy, are unconstitutional as applied to protected speech.

The Gateway Pundit has reported for two years on what these �views� actually looked like.

After Hamas butchered 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023, foreign students and their faculty handlers erected encampments, seized buildings, blocked Jewish students from class, and chanted �from the river to the sea.�

At Columbia, protest leaders praised �violent resistance� and the October 7 massacre.

Masked activists stormed an Israeli history class and handed out flyers showing a boot crushing a Star of David and the words �Burn Zionism to the ground.� Jewish students were told they were not welcome. Administrators folded.

President Trump said it plainly after taking office: resident aliens who joined the �pro-jihadist protests� would be found and deported.

Secretary Rubio said the same thing. A visa is a privilege, not a constitutional entitlement to run a political operation against U.S. foreign policy.

Rubio personally signed off on cases including Columbia�s Mahmoud Khalil, a green-card holder who helped lead Columbia University Apartheid Divest, and Tufts doctoral student R�meysa �zt�rk, whose visa was pulled after she co-authored an op-ed.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that ICE arrested �zt�rk after she co-authored a pro-Palestinian newspaper op-ed. �zt�rk later left the United States for Turkey after a prolonged deportation battle.

The Gateway Pundit also extensively covered the government�s battle to remove Khalil, including an earlier ruling by an Obama-appointed judge that blocked his immediate deportation.

In April, the Board of Immigration Appeals issued a final removal order against Khalil after rejecting his attempt to dismiss the deportation case.

The administration�s position has been consistent: if we had known what you intended to do here, you would never have gotten the visa.

Judge Wise called that a �campaign of speech-chilling retribution.�

No�l Wise is not a neutral umpire. She is a former Alameda County Superior Court judge, appointed to the federal bench by Biden in the lame-duck window.

In a 2020 Atlantic essay she complained that President Trump�s judicial appointees were �overwhelmingly white and male� and �don�t look like America.�

Republicans flagged the article at her confirmation. Democrats rammed her through anyway.

Now she lectures the elected government of the United States that �you can simultaneously hate the content of a person�s speech and love the country that cherishes the freedom to allow it.�

Photo courtesy of La Sicilia.An estimated 72,000 migrants entered Ceuta from Morocco on July 30�31, 2026, after a June Spanish Supreme Court ruling barred authorities from immediately returning migrants who arrive by water. Migrants exploited the ruling by walking into the sea on the Moroccan side of the border and technically arriving �by water� on Spanish territory just meters down the coast. Although most returned to Morocco within hours of the initial crossing, thousands remained in the small city, which has only 80,000 inhabitants.

Spanish police sources told El Espa�ol they were aware of 15 sexual assault complaints and two arrests, while the National Police confirmed to fact-checker Maldita.es that six complaints had been filed by minors as of August 11. Spain�s largest police union, the SUP, told Reuters that 15 sexual assaults of varying severity had been reported since July 30 and that the significant majority of the victims were underage. However, the Interior Ministry and police declined to confirm the figure.

Health Minister M�nica Garc�a said the city�s crisis center for women had treated five people. Courts remanded nine migrants who arrived on July 30 into custody on charges including sexual assault, burglary, and attacking officers. Three of those nine cases involved sexual assaults against migrant women who crossed the same day.

In one case reported by Spiked, three men described as brothers were stopped while allegedly attempting to sexually abuse a 10-year-old girl. Separately, Ceuta University Hospital treated at least five girls under 14 for suspected rape, according to Euronews. All had arrived from Morocco during the influx. Judicial sources said local residents intervened to prevent several additional attempted assaults.

Spanish television network Cuatro aired footage of local mothers describing changed routines for their daughters. One mother said her 16-year-old daughter �has to go everywhere with her father or with me,� while Ceuta mothers separately demanded the school year be delayed, with one saying she �would not let my daughter come to school alone.�

A month after the initial influx, tensions boiled over into open unrest. On August 27, hundreds of Ceuta residents sat across the road near Ben�tez Beach for more than two hours, blocking Red Cross vehicles carrying food and water from reaching the El Trampol�n migrant camp. Protesters chanted, �They should leave� and �Out with the Red Cross,� according to Euronews. Some protesters broke through police cordons and entered the camp, where they dismantled and set fire to migrant shelters and belongings.

The unrest followed an incident earlier that morning in which roughly 70 migrants attacked a military vehicle carrying four soldiers with stones, prompting police to detain 12 Moroccan migrants. City Finance Councillor Kissy Chandiramani told news radio SER that residents �feel abandoned� by the national government�s lack of response.

Spain is moving migrants from Ceuta to the mainland. Once on the Iberian Peninsula, they are inside the EU�s Schengen Area, although this does not automatically grant them the legal right to move freely throughout it. About 500 unaccompanied migrant girls are being transferred from Ceuta to mainland Spain. Roughly 1,400 to 1,500 unaccompanied minors remain in the enclave�s care.

Migrants who are not swiftly deported are held for processing �for entry into Spain and, from there, the rest of the EU.� This pathway was opened by the June Supreme Court ruling rather than through a formal admissions policy.

European leaders argued that a recent royal decree signed by King Felipe VI may have incentivized the sudden surge in arrivals in Ceuta. On January 27, 2026, Spain�s Council of Ministers approved the decree, granting one-year residency and work permits to an estimated 500,000 undocumented migrants already in the country.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni took the strongest stance, calling the Ceuta images �shocking� and saying Spain should be suspended from the Schengen Area, the EU zone in which most member states have abolished passport checks at their shared borders. On July 31, Italy temporarily suspended normal Schengen travel arrangements with Spain by reintroducing border checks on travelers arriving from the country. Meloni described the �uncontrolled immigration� as a threat to national security, according to the House of Commons.

Finland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, and the Czech Republic joined Italy in calling for Spain�s suspension from the Schengen Area. Separately, leaders of 22 EU nations signed a letter accusing Madrid of undermining bloc-wide migration rules, according to RT.

Not all reactions were critical of Spain. At an emergency EU summit, member states issued a statement expressing �strong solidarity with Spain� and praising the �swift and effective efforts of Spanish authorities.� The statement confirmed that the large majority of those who crossed into Ceuta had been returned to Morocco, with no onward movement to mainland Spain or other member states, according to the House of Commons Library.

Left-wing MEPs, including Spain�s Javi L�pez, called Italy�s position �unworthy of a European partner.� They argued that after Italy received EU support for more than 700,000 arrivals from Libya, �solidarity is not a one-way street.�

The episode has reopened the question of whether Schengen�s border-free structure can withstand a crisis triggered by a single member state�s national court rulings and residency policies, particularly when other capitals view the consequences as their own border security problem.

Italy�s unilateral suspension of Schengen arrangements with a country it does not even border has no clear precedent as a means of using internal EU rules to punish another member state�s domestic migration policies. The move suggests that the union�s response to a Ceuta-scale event remains largely improvised. More than a decade after the 2015 migration crisis, the EU still has no mechanism in place for individual countries to protect their own borders from the consequences of liberal policies adopted by other member states.

In fact, even Italy�s suspension of normal Schengen arrangements with Spain can be challenged before an EU court.

Under the terms of the agreement, Italy can temporarily reinstate border controls to protect against a �serious threat to public policy or internal security,� but the application of these terms remains open to legal interpretation. Furthermore, because Italy does not share a land border with Spain, a court could find that there is no direct security threat, dismissing the fact that migrants can fly into Italy or travel through France before entering the country.

Similar migration patterns have been documented across Europe. Rather than seeking asylum in the first safe country they reach, migrants often cross multiple countries in an attempt to reach wealthier nations with more liberal or generous welfare and migration policies, such as Germany or the Scandinavian countries. Others may prefer France or Italy over Spain.

The Democrat rag whines that illegals are being arrested without a criminal record.

Via the Washington Post: �ICE has arrested more than half a million people since President Trump returned to office, and nearly 40 percent do not have a criminal record. As of Aug. 6, ICE had detained more people without a criminal record this year than in all of 2025.�

Not a surprise. Some WaPo hack believes entering the US illegally is not a crime.

However, authors David Nakamura and Emmanuel Martinez for some reason forgot to mention that every single one of the ICE arrests involve criminal aliens.

According to Cornell Law, �Crossing the border illegally is a federal crime via 8 USC 1325. 5 year statute of limitation for first time offense.�

So, the WaPo published their article based entirely on fake news.

FOX News contributor Bill Melugin went after the WaPo for their ignorant claims.

Overstaying a visa is a civil offense.

Being unlawfully present in the U.S. is a civil offense.

But none of these semantics matter, because any of the above can result in ICE detention.

There is no requirement under US law that an alien must have a criminal record before being detained by ICE. There never has been.

ICE also does not need a judicial warrant to make arrests. (Unless they�re entering private property like a home).

All they need is reasonable suspicion that an alien is unlawfully present in the country.

Bottom line, all aliens who violate US immigration law are subject to ICE arrest and detention.

This is how the law has been for decades.

Officials of the Tohono O�odham tribe issued an update in the ongoing battle to stop the Trump administration from starting a 62-mile border infrastructure project within the narrow Roosevelt Easement between the southern boundary of the tribe�s reservation and the U.S. Mexico border. The tribe alleges armed, masked Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents escorted border wall construction contractors through the reservation on Tuesday in violation of Tohono O�odham laws.

Earlier this week, the tribe announced the entry of approximately 20 masked, armed CBP agents from the Tucson Border Patrol Sector who entered the Tohono O�odham Nation to escort the border wall contractors. According to the tribe, the contractors began engaging in pre-construction activities on federal lands after using the reservation to access the Roosevelt Easement.

The tribe alleges that the contractors were trespassing on reservation lands according to the Tohono O�odham Code, Title 4, Chapter 2, �Civil Trespass; Removal and Exclusion of Nonmembers.�

According to the tribe�s public announcement on Tuesday, the contractors began work at three sites within the Roosevelt Easement, using drill trucks to conduct soil sampling and other activities.

The latest developments in the tribe�s fight come after a federal judge denied a request for a preliminary injunction to stop the construction project, as a federal lawsuit makes its way through the court process.

According to tribal officials, the CBP team of officers sent to escort and provide security for the federal contractors involved in the project, known officially as Tucson 5, included a contingent of Border Patrol agents assigned to the agency�s BORTAC Tactical Team and several Bureau of Indian Affairs Officers.

A tethered balloon is being used to provide additional monitoring of the project area according to the tribe.

As reported by Breitbart Texas, in early August, U.S. District Judge Richard Leon denied the tribe�s request to halt CBP�s plan to install a border wall along the 62-mile stretch within the easement, also known as the Roosevelt Reservation. The project will include the installation of additional border wall and smart technology, including lighting and camera suites.

In his ruling denying the request for a preliminary injunction, Leon rejected the assertion that the project would alter the established boundaries of the Tohono O�odham Reservation and the tribe�s lawsuit was �unlikely to succeed on the merits� of the case. The ruling, a major victory for the Trump administration, has resulted in a renewed push by CBP to complete the project

Prior to the alleged trespassing incident, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott had announced that his agency would move forward with the project after the tribe�s injunction request was denied.

The Tohono O�odham tribe�s reservation consists of a 2.8-million-acre area along the U.S.-Mexico border in southern Arizona. The tribe has members on both sides of the border. According to the tribe, several thousand tribal members reside in seventeen communities in Mexico directly across the border from the reservation in the United States.

The tribe�s legal standing is hampered by the establishment of the Roosevelt Easement in 1907, which designates a 60-foot-wide strip of land as federal property. The easement set aside a strip of land to combat smuggling. The easement runs along the border adjacent to the 62-mile international boundary between the Tohono O�odham reservation and Mexico.

According to a source within the Department of Homeland Security, most equipment needed to complete the initial phases of the project has already been moved through the reservation and onto the federally owned Roosevelt Easement. According to the source, not authorized to speak to the media, CBP and the Border Patrol continue to engage with tribal officials to amicably address the tribe�s concerns, but remain determined to complete the project.

Funding for the project is provided by provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill, which authorized $46.5 billion for border wall construction and border infrastructure improvements.

Bruce Blakeman, the chief executive of Nassau County, New York, has agreed to abide by the state�s new law banning cooperation with ICE, but he also announced that his county is joining a lawsuit to scuttle the law.

New York Democrats pushed through a bill banning state law enforcement agencies from entering into the federal 287(g) program that allows them to cooperate with Immigration enforcement, but 15 counties have since launched a lawsuit to have the law shut down.

Early this month, two New York counties that had entered into the ICE co-op program joined forces to sue the state over the law, called the Local Crimes, Local Cop Act, which went into effect on August 25. The act summarily cancelled the contracts the counties had signed with ICE, and local officials are furious that state Democrats decided they had the power and position to interfere in local police decisions and policies.

Since then, 15 New York sheriffs joined the lawsuit to scuttle the new state law.

However, one high profile county official had been temporarily silent over the lawsuit, the New York Post reported.

Republican Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who is running for governor against incumbent Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul, strenuously opposed the Local Crimes, Local Cop Act, but he had resisted mentioning exactly what his county would do about the newly implemented law.

Now, he is finally speaking out and confirming what his county will do in response.

Blakeman now says that his county will reluctantly void its contract with ICE, but he added he is also joining the lawsuit to put an end to the law that forced him to do so.

�This is one of the saddest days of my life as county executive,� he said of having to end his contract with ICE. He added that while he would �abide by the technicalities of the law,� he also intends to keep working with ICE where he is able.

�I am a law-and-order county executive. I believe in the rule of law � even when it�s a bad law, and this is a very, very bad and dangerous law,� he added.

The Republican has praised the ICE 287(g) program in the past, saying that his county has taken a serious bite out of crime by working with ICE.

�We got rid of 2,000 illegal migrants with criminal records in Nassau County without raiding a church, a school, a daycare center, a hospital, because we cooperated with ICE,� Blakeman recently said.

Blakeman also railed against Hochul and said her law will make New Yorkers less safe.

�Kathy Hochul, where do you want those guns? What neighborhood do you want to destroy? Where do you want those drugs? What community do you want to destroy? Where do you want those illegal migrants with criminal records to live? You want them back in New York? We say no!� he said at a recent campaign rally.

�This law has made New York state more dangerous,� he also said.

�Going forward, every murder, every rape, every robbery, every burglary, every drug overdose, committed by an illegal migrant, is on the hands of Kathy Hochul and the Democrats in our state legislature � it will be blood on their hands,� he railed.

On Friday�s broadcast of MS NOW�s �Morning Joe,� New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) discussed legislation she signed forbidding local law enforcement in the state from engaging in certain agreements with ICE and said that �I wish they would just disband and go back to the old Immigration and Naturalization Service.� And �This is a rogue policing state that is wreaking havoc across America.�

Hochul began by saying, �New York state will never be a sanctuary for criminals, full stop. We work with federal law enforcement, including ICE, when it comes to protecting New Yorkers, and that means we always have and always will work to get criminals off the streets and in the criminal justice system, get their justice, go to jail, and then go back to their home country. That�s how we do it in New York.�

She continued, �But what we had before was, there were counties that had relationships with ICE, formal agreements, where they would actually be using local law enforcement for civil immigration enforcement. I�m not talking about criminals. I�m talking about someone who the only offense is coming into this country, and these are people with temporary protective status, maybe they had a green card, a work permit, married to an American citizen. They�re going after everybody, because they have to hit those inane Stephen Miller quotas. So, I�ve said, and we passed a law, and it went into effect just this week, you cannot have those agreements with ICE to be using local cops for doing your job, ICE. I want local cops focused on local crimes. And crime has gone down dramatically since I�ve been Governor in the state of New York for the last five years, and it�s because I�ve invested money in law enforcement. We�re building trust between communities and law enforcement.�

Hochul concluded, �It has nothing to do with having our local police diverted from catching the rapists, catching the murderers, responding to an emergency, and doing ICE�s job for them. It�s an $85 billion agency. I think they can take care of themselves. In fact, I wish they would just disband and go back to the old Immigration and Naturalization Service. Remember old INS? People trusted them. They did their jobs. This is a rogue policing state that is wreaking havoc across America. In New York, we say, no more.�

Spanish protesters and migrants clashed with police and each other in Ceuta, one month after a horde of over 70,000 Moroccan migrants abruptly swarmed the small Spanish enclave.
Footage of the mass of migrants storming the territory of just 84,000 people sparked a national crisis, and Madrid's socialist government has struggled to contain it. The vast majority of the migrants left soon after arriving, upon finding a lack of transportation to Europe and a lack of accommodations, but thousands remain. Madrid claims 7,000 still remain, while Ceuta officials put the number closer to 10,000.

Tensions boiled over this week when crowds of Spanish locals began protesting, then rioting, over the migrant camps, while migrants began attacking police. The enclave�s small police force was quickly overwhelmed and unable to bring the protesters or migrants under control.
A police spokesperson said on Thursday that a military vehicle carrying four soldiers was �ambushed� by a mob of about 70 migrants, who pelted it with stones and other objects, AFP reported.
The local population took matters into their own hands, storming and ransacking a migrant camp. Video showed locals draped in Spanish flags, shouting anti-migrant slogans, and singing Spanish songs, torching the camp and throwing migrants� belongings in the Mediterranean or into bonfires. The migrants retreated to a pier where they were guarded by police.
Protesters also turned their ire against the Red Cross, which has been assisting the migrants. They attempted to stop Red Cross vehicles from reaching migrants on the beach and have been demanding the aid group depart the area.

Spain has asked the European Commission (EC) for the support from Frontex and Europol to assist with the screening of migrants who are staying irregularly in Ceuta, according to several Spanish media outlets.
Spain's Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska has asked the EC for Frontex, Europol and the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) to "reinforce the device set up to address the management of the triage and subsequent processing of the personal files of the immigrants who still remain in Ceuta irregularly."

The Interior Ministry also demanded the extension of Operation Minerva, a joint initiative of the Spanish police and the EU border protection agency Frontex.
Madrid ask that that operation run until 2 September until "the situation created in the autonomous city is resolved."
Madrid also asked for the " assistance of the European Union Agency for Asylum in conducting interviews and providing interpreters" in order to triage migrants.
Due to space limitations in Ceuta, this process is expected to be carried out electronically.

The Interior Ministry announced on Friday that Ceuta's border would be reinforced with a package of "extraordinary" measures such as extending the Tarajal and Benz� breakwaters, a permanent system of maritime containment buoys, aerial surveillance with drones, light intervention vessels and remotely operated underwater devices.

At the same time, Ceuta's Assembly unanimously called on the central government on Friday to act "immediately and without further delay" arguing that the city is in an "extreme situation, on the verge of collapse."
The Board of Spokespersons, together with the non-affiliated MPs, unanimously approved on Friday an institutional declaration calling on the government to adopt urgent measures one month after the mass entry of at least 72,000 migrants from Morocco.
"Ceuta has lost its way of life and its calm. We do not have much time to avert disaster," Ceuta's President Juan Vivas warned.
The declaration calls for a return to their countries, "in accordance with the law" of those who took part in the mass entry and are still in Ceuta. It also backs citizens' right to demonstrate, as long as it is done "peacefully and in an orderly manner," and condemns violent incidents recorded in recent days.
"No one can or should take the law into their own hands. The defence of Ceuta and the interests of its people can only be pursued through legality," Vivas said.

Appeal for calm

Meanwhile, Spain's interior minister called for calm on Friday after residents of Ceuta clashed with police during protests against migrants who have remained in the North African enclave following a mass influx.
Tensions have been high in the territory of 80,000 people since at least 72,000 people crossed into Ceuta over several days in July, triggering a Europe-wide migrant alert.

Spain's leftist government says most have since left the enclave of 18.5 square kilometres but thousands remain wandering the streets and sleeping on beaches.
Demonstrations have intensified in recent days, with some protesters clashing with police on Thursday at a beach where migrants have been sleeping. Some of their belongings were burned.

A soldier was injured in a separate incident on Thursday when migrants threw stones at troops, while 12 Moroccan migrants were arrested.
Two more arrests were made after migrants attacked a police officer, sources said.
"Violence is not the answer," Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska told parliament on Friday.

"I call for calm and an end to any form of violence, because...violence is not the way to resolve any problem with the complexity" of that facing Ceuta, he added.
Right-wing and far-right parties have demanded that all the migrants be rounded up and sent back to their home countries.

The other order bans birthright tourism, the practice by which people travel to the United States solely for the purpose of giving birth to a child on our soil.

President Trump, earlier this month, signed two executive orders on birthright citizenship and birth tourism, following the Supreme Court�s ruling against the Trump Administration�s executive order ending birthright citizenship.

During the Oval Office signing, Trump decried the �very, very unfortunate� Supreme Court decision, adding, �So we�re making adjustments because it�s very unfair.�

�This was done right after the Civil War. This was for the babies of slaves, and what�s happening now, people are building businesses around it,� Trump said. �Wealthy people are building businesses around birthright citizenship. That�s not the way it was supposed to work. It�s a disgrace. They�re buying their way in, and we�re not going to let it happen.�

US District Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee, declined to block President Trump�s revised executive order.

A federal judge on Friday declined to immediately block U.S. President Donald Trump�s newest executive order limiting the number of people eligible for birthright citizenship, even as she sharply questioned its viability after the U.S. Supreme *Court rejected his previous effort to do so.

U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman in Greenbelt, Maryland, rejected a request for a temporary restraining order sought by immigrant rights advocates who had last year secured a ruling from her blocking the Trump administration from enforcing his initial 2025 executive order curtailing birthright citizenship.

The alleged human smugglers led the Texas Department of Public Safety and Border Patrol agents on a chase that reached speeds in excess of 100 mph, leading to an eventual bail-out and armed carjacking.

CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott posted the video, captured by an El Paso Branch Air and Marine Operations aircrew, on social media on Thursday, showing DPS troopers in a dangerous, high-speed pursuit on Interstate 10. Scott reported the pursuit reached speeds in excess of 100 mps before an eventual bailout.

After narrowly missing a slower-moving vehicle on the highway, the suspected human smugglers pulled to the right shoulder of the highway, and three men jumped out of the dark-colored Cadillac sedan. A Texas DPS trooper chased down one of the alleged smugglers and their alleged illegal alien cargo. The second alleged smuggler fled across the highway.

The fugitive smuggler managed to carjack another vehicle at gunpoint, Scott stated. A DPS trooper and Border Patrol agents eventually stopped that vehicle and took the second suspect into custody.

KFOX 14 in El Paso reported that the carjacking victim did not suffer any serious injuries, but was taken to a hospital for treatment. A second video, shot by a civilian, shows the woman who was reportedly assaulted in the carjacking. Law enforcement and Border Patrol agents arrived at the Speedway gas station in Fabens, Texas, to provide assistance.

The two men now face charges for human smuggling and evading arrest. Additional state charges for the alleged armed carjacking could be filed at a later time.

Mayor Karen Bass just made it official: Los Angeles is a sanctuary city when it comes to enforcing food safety laws with thousands of street stands that have popped up all over the city � many of them run by illegal aliens.

Bass�s announcement this week ordering police to stop issuing violations to unpermitted vendors follows a Breitbart News investigation last month that revealed the widespread lack of enforcement of city and county food safety laws, with street food stands run by illegal migrants getting a free pass while citizen restaurateurs and licensed food stands are subject to fines, high costs, burdensome regulations and even closure.

Bass�s office told the California Post Thursday that the mayor �stands firmly with street vendors� and has directed the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to stop issuing criminal citations to unpermitted vendors.

�Street vending is a quintessential part of LA�s world-class food scene and a livelihood for thousands of hardworking Angelenos. Supporting LA�s street vendors is more important than ever given ongoing attacks by ICE,� her office told the outlet.

The message is clear, say critics. If you�re in the United States illegally and operating a business illegally, you get a free pass. If you are a citizen, you must follow all the rules or face fines and even closure.

As Breitbart News reported in July, an estimated 50,000 vendors operate throughout Los Angeles but fewer than 700 have active permits, with only 53 of those for food vendors.

Besides presenting food safety problems for America�s second largest city, the tent canopies and smokey grills that accompany many operations have become a blight on neighborhoods and business districts, contributing � along with the homeless and widespread littering � to the kind of streetscape typically found in impoverished Third World countries.

Current city statutes require a city vending permit to sell food or merchandise on city sidewalks and in city parks. It must be renewed annually. Food vendors must also obtain a county heath permit, demonstrating they have met all the requirements of food safety, such as refrigeration, sanitation stations and other commonsense practices that restaurants must follow.

Breitbart News�s investigation revealed scores of unpermitted food stands throughout the city that lacked basic food safety equipment. The report highlighted one operation near Venice Beach where cooked chopped beef could be seen stored in an open plastic tub exposed in the hot sun only inches from passing cars.

The county is on board with the hands-off policy as well. As Breitbart News reported:

The Los Angeles County Health Department, citing immigration enforcement efforts by the Trump administration, last fall suspended all enforcement of thousands of noncompliant street food vendors who have proliferated with the massive influx of illegals under the Biden administration.

With the labor market flooded with cheap migrant labor and the increasingly high cost of living in the Golden State, migrants were already ignoring regulations and licensing requirements to openly prepare and sell their native countries� meals on sidewalks and curbsides.

The health department suspended enforcement despite nearly 3,000 food poisoning complaints reported to the county in 2025, with health officials suspecting many more went unreported.

If someone gets seriously ill from unlicensed street food, undocumented operators are typically uninsured and can easily disappear before being held accountable.

The problem has ignited debate on social media, with video posted of the widespread illegal practice.

�Imagine putting your life savings into opening a restaurant,� one Angelino with the handle KingOf98580 wrote on social media. �You do everything legally, pay rent, employees, taxes, business licenses, and a street food vendor pops up across the street with no overhead, no license, cash only, and undercuts your business. L.A. city officials suck.�

When asked about the unequal application of the law, the county health department told Breitbart News that it had shifted its street-level enforcement to pair with the district attorney to �target the larger organizations that control many street-level operations in order to conduct enforcement at the source.�

These efforts include �unpermitted central food preparation and distribution hubs that support multiple unpermitted sidewalk locations,� the department said.

That statement turned out to be misleading at best.

When Breitbart News contacted the District Attorney�s Office earlier this month about such an effort, a spokesman responded that it was limited to a �Street Vending Workgroup� which met monthly �to discuss street vending issues.�

�Currently, our Bureau of Investigation does not participate in enforcement operations,� communications chief Venusse Dunn told Breitbart News. �Questions regarding specific enforcement operations should be directed to the Los Angeles Police Department.�

Now LAPD is officially off the case, per Bass�s order.

Bass� policy actually puts her at odds with Councilwoman Nithya Raman, her opponent in November�s mayoral election.

�Raman has argued that the city should make it easier for vendors to obtain permits and enter the legal system rather than leaving large numbers of operators outside it,� the Post reported.

Legal gourmet hot dog cart operator Anthony D�Eugenio told Breitbart News his revenue has dropped from $100,000 to $30,000 annually at his West Hollywood location because of illegal vendors, many of them controlled by Latin gangs.

D�Eugenio blasted the mayor�s decision as �shameful� and an affront to legal vendors. His costs to operate exceed $1000 annually for insurance, tax permits and the like, with $750 for the operating permit alone.

�They punish hardworking people and reward the criminals,� he said.

An illegal alien, granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status in 2013 by the Obama administration, is now charged with more than 20 counts of possession and distribution of child pornography in Virginia, where Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) has ended cooperation with federal immigration officials.

This month, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, the Franklin County Sheriff�s Office arrested 36-year-old illegal alien Jorge Gilberto Zamorano-Burciaga of Mexico.

Zamorano-Burciaga was charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography, six counts of producing child pornography with a child younger than 15 years old, three counts of reproducing child pornography, two counts of possessing obscene material using minors, and one count of reproducing, transmitting, or selling child pornography.

Zamorano-Burciaga was convicted of drunk driving and contributing to the delinquency of a minor prior to the child pornography-related charges.

�This illegal alien from Mexico has been charged with more than 20 counts related to the possession and distribution of child pornography,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said.

After he was arrested, ICE agents lodged a detainer against Zamorano-Burciaga, seeking custody of him before state officials release him from jail.

�ICE is calling on Governor Spanberger and her fellow sanctuary politicians to commit to not releasing this pedophile from jail, and to cooperate with ICE so we can remove him from our country,� Mullin said. �Governor Spanberger�s sanctuary policies have turned the Commonwealth into a magnet for illegal aliens, putting American lives at risk. Sanctuary politicians must abandon these America Last policies and start putting the American people first again.�

Zamorano-Burciaga illegally entered the United States as an unknown got-away. In February 2013, he applied for DACA status and was granted that status in August 2013. His DACA status expired in October 2018.

He remains in custody at the Franklin County Jail.

Illegal Alien Gets 7 Years in Prison for Nearly Ruining Minnesota Man�s Life After Stealing His Identity

An illegal alien has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison after stealing a Minnesota man�s Social Security number for over a decade and nearly ruining his life.

Romeo Perez-Bravo, a 44-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, will serve seven years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, after stealing the identity of Daniel Kluver, a husband and father of three, from Olivia, Minnesota.

Prosecutors said Perez-Bravo used Kluver�s Social Security number for over a decade to work fraudulently in the United States despite having been deported in 2005, 2008, and 2009.

�The actions of Romeo Perez-Bravo caused extensive harm to the victim, including substantial lost wages, impact to the victim�s credit, and countless hours spent trying to resolve the consequences; hours that can never be restored,� U.S. Attorney R. Matthew Price said in a statement:

Identity theft is a serious crime that can have lasting consequences for victims while also placing an unnecessary burden on taxpayers, government programs, and the agencies responsible for administering them. Our district will continue to aggressively pursue those who break the law by not only fraudulently assuming the identity of an American citizen, but also violating our country�s immigration policies. [Emphasis added.]

Since 2009, Perez-Bravo has used Kluver�s identity and Social Security number to obtain employment, secure a Missouri ID, and register several cars. Kluver told the court that he first noticed his identity had been stolen when his hard-earned wages started to be garnished for debts that he knew nothing about.

For more than a decade, Kluver was harassed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over unpaid debts for which Perez-Bravo was responsible. Kluver said he has paid the IRS some $15,000, has continued to pay for such tax debts on a monthly basis, and had to pay to remove Perez-Bravo from his tax records.

The case was profiled in the Daily Mail and the New York Times last year.

In the Times profile, Kluver said his identity being stolen came to a head in 2024 when he found out that his name was linked to a wrongful death lawsuit in Missouri:

And then came a detail from a police report that Kluver couldn�t shake. In the summer of 2022, the other Dan Kluver had been driving to work in St. Joseph when the serpentine belt broke in his car, causing him to lose control at a red light and collide with a grandfather and his 9-year-old granddaughter as they rode on a motorized tricycle. The girl sustained minor injuries, but the 68-year-old man flew off the bike, broke his pelvis in two places, struck his head and died. The driver stayed on the scene, praying and cooperating with the police as he handed over a license and registration for Dan Kluver. He was cleared of any wrongdoing. The crash was ruled an accident.

But the victim�s family had filed a wrongful-death lawsuit � with Kluver listed as the defendant. [Emphasis added.]

Kluver told the Times he was frustrated with Democrats and relatives telling him that illegal immigration was a victimless crime:

But what bothered him lately was the idea he kept hearing from liberal politicians and even some relatives in Minnesota � that illegal immigration was mostly harmless, a victimless crime. His name was no longer his own. His debts were spiraling. He was still cutting checks to the I.R.S. for $150 each month, and the government said that debt was his to pay until a court determined otherwise. Even if the other Dan Kluver seemed to be a decent man � working, raising a family, going to church � his patience had limits. [Emphasis added.]

Stolen identities of Americans at the hands of illegal aliens is a massive problem that investigators have acknowledged in recent years.

A comprehensive investigation published by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) found potentially 39 million cases from 2012 to 2016 in which Americans had their identities and Social Security Numbers stolen by illegal aliens.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is continuing to deport illegal alien gang members, including those convicted of manslaughter, kidnapping, attempted rape, and armed assault, among other crimes.

�Another day, another deportation flight that makes America safer,� Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin said in a statement. �In the last week, ICE deported illegal alien gang members, including murderers, sexual assailants, kidnappers, and burglars.�

Among those illegal aliens deported by ICE is Jonathan Moreno Hernandez of Mexico. Hernandez is a member of the South Sider gang and has been previously convicted of voluntary manslaughter, attempted murder, and assault by prisoner in California.

Before being deported this month, Hernandez was deported three times in 2004, 2007, and 2023.

Likewise, ICE deported Jesus Azuara and German Oliverio Miranda-Tapia, both from Mexico and members of the Paisas gang.

Azuara has been previously convicted of dangerous drugs, larceny, possession of burglary tools, robbery, burglary, making a false report, and illegal entry. He was previously deported five times from the United States.

Miranda-Tapia was previously convicted of third-degree sexual assault involving a relative under 16 years old, risk of injury to a child, assault, and reckless driving. He was previously deported in 2020 by the Trump administration and illegally re-entered at an unknown date.

Other illegal aliens deported include:

Harvey Elias Liberato, a criminal illegal alien from the Philippines and Asian Boys gang member, deported on August 18. His criminal history includes convictions for voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault with a gun, and possession of a controlled substance in California. He was admitted into the United States through California as a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) in April 2004. A Department of Justice (DOJ) Immigration Judge issued Liberato a final order of removal on July 2, 2026.

Jorge Jaimes, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and Surenos gang member, deported on August 21. His criminal history includes a conviction for attempted murder and arrests for driving while intoxicated and driving without a license in California. He illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and location.

Brandon Enrique Rodriguez-Ascencio, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador and MS-13 gang member, deported on August 17. His criminal history includes a conviction for criminal attempt to commit rape. He illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and location.

Cristian Bahena Estudillo, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and Surenos gang member, deported on August 22. His criminal history includes convictions for kidnapping, larceny, stolen property, possession of a weapon, carrying a prohibited weapon, and violation of a court order. He first entered the United States through Chicago, Illinois as an LPR in 2011 under the Obama Administration. Following his criminal convictions, a DOJ Immigration Judge issued Estudillo a final order of removal on February 4, 2019, and he was deported by the Trump Administration on July 10, 2020. He then illegally re-entered the country � a felony � at an unknown date and location.

Axll Joshua Castillo-Almeida, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia and 18th Street Gang member, deported on August 21. His criminal history includes FOUR convictions for burglary in Maryland, Delaware, and Connecticut. He was lawfully admitted to the United States through New York City in November 2013 under the Obama Administration, overstaying his authorized period after it expired in May 2014. A DOJ Immigration Judge issued Castillo-Almeida a final order of removal on June 23, 2026.

�Under President Trump�s leadership, ICE has been unleashed to arrest and remove illegal aliens from our communities,� Mullin said. �Deporting illegal aliens saves lives.�

A teenage girl who was run over by a migrant smuggler boat that crashed through a bathing area at �full speed� to land its human cargo on the beach is now out of intensive care nearly two weeks after she was almost killed, local media reports.

A speedboat carrying 14 male migrants from Algeria to the southern coast of Italy�s Sardinia was piloted straight through a designated swimming area and ran right over a 17-year-old holidaymaker enjoying a family trip on August 16th. As well as the impact of the boat hitting the girl as she swam, Italian media reports she also sustained injuries consistent with being hit by the propeller of the speedboat�s 85-horsepower outboard motor.

The injuries knocked the 17-year-old unconscious and had her boyfriend not been close at hand to pull her out of the water, it is stated she would likely have drowned. Regardless, it is reported she sustained serious injuries and was nearly killed, and the air ambulance had to land on the beach to rush her to the nearest hospital.

Now ten days later, reports L�Unione Sarda, the victim is recovering in hospital and is out of the intensive care unit for the first time.

The news the victim is on the path to recovery follows other recent updates in the shocking case which has caused outrage in Italy, including the emergence of new footage of the incident on social media that appears to corroborate eyewitness accounts and challenge the assumptions of police that the people smugglers trafficking the boat had been aware they�d struck a swimmer in the water. Footage cited by German newspaper Die Welt shows the victim vanish under the water after being hit.

After the migrant speed boat hit the victim, it then sped away �at high speed� to a nearby beach where the smugglers and their passengers disembarked and attempted to flee inland. Police were able to intercept and round up the full compliment, including the Algerian man suspected of being the smuggler, 28-year-old Hamed Elhoucine Alouache, who appeared before a judge last week.

Charged with facilitating illegal migration, based on investigator�s initial belief he hadn�t been aware he�d hit anyone in the water, at his court appearance on the 20th Alouache was only charged with aggravated assault. Yet the new footage now shows after it hit the girl the migrants slowed the boat, looked at the victim, then sped off, and both social media footage and eyewitness accounts state bathers waved their arms and shouted at the boat to warn them they were speeding into a designated swimming area, raising the question of whether additional charges will be laid including failing to stop and render assistance.

The teenage boy who saved the victim from drowning said of the incident: �It�s not true that they didn�t notice what happened� They saw us, stopped after the impact, looked at us, and then ran away�.

Sardinia has become something of a hotspot for migrant boat crossings, and locals have warned that smuggler boats have been piloted straight through crowded swimming waters several times this summer already, suggesting it was already only a matter of time before disaster struck. As far back as 2016, Breitbart News reported the loved holiday destination had emerged as a new migrant route from Algeria and that the island had been taken �hostage� by migrant arrivals.
