    The U.S. 7th District takes in all of Seattle, WA and some of the surrounding areas

    Percentage of Democrat, Republican, and Unaffiliated Voters: 60% Democrat, the rest Republican and some unaffiliated.

    Reducing illegal immigration should be a top priority for America? (1-10) (10)

    Reducing illegal immigration is important to the voters of my district?

    Illegal Immigrants should be deported when detected in the interior of the

    Illegal Immigration is a threat to our national security? (1-10) 10

    Illegal Immigration is unfair to those that obey the law and legally

    What do you feel your opponent’s stance on illegal immigration or
    immigration reform is or would be? Rep. Jim McDermott voted in 1996 to continue chain migrations. (HR 2202)
    In 2001, he voted against authorizing troops on the border. (Traficant HR 2586).
    In 2002, he voted for amnesty for illegal aliens (HR 365).
