Has your campaign addressed the topic of illegal immigration in speeches, commercials, ads, or campaign materials? What are those messages? (Please provide sources or examples)
I have proposed an initiative requiring a biometric be connected to both Social Security and immigration databases to better monitor those entering the United States, and to insure on a real-time basis that jobs go to only those legally able to work. This cannot be enforced now due to inability to identify. This would be solved with a biometric. For those who argue privacy, everyone in CA with a driver’s license has already surrendered a thumbprint.
What do you feel your opponent’s stance on illegal immigration or immigration reform is or would be?
My opponent has been soft on illegal immigration. She has been against extending the border fence. She has voted against allowing troops to support border agencies.
