    Reducing illegal immigration should be a top priority for America? (1-10)
    6--Considered, but not top priority. Other issues higher.

    Reducing illegal immigration is important to the voters of my district?
    (1-10)
    6--Very seldom does this issue arise.

    Illegal Immigrants should be deported when detected in the interior of the
    US? (1-10)
    8--Except for exceptional conditions, (political asylum, etc.).

    Illegal Immigration is a threat to our national security? (1-10)
    7--Most illegals don't present a national security threat, but
    there are some terrorists among them that do.

    Illegal Immigration is unfair to those that obey the law and legally
    immigrate? (1-10)
    10--I welcome legal immigrates, but believe that illegal immigrates should not
    receive incentive benefits for their illegal actions.

    Illegal Immigrants should be allowed to receive driver licenses? (1-10)
    9--Drivers licenses are issued to State citizens. Illegal
    immigrates are not state citizens.

    Illegal Immigrants should be allowed to attend state sponsored
    universities at in state tuition rates? (1-10)
    9--Illegal immigrants are not legal state residents and should not
    recieve state resident tuition rates.

    Illegal Immigrants currently in the US Should be granted amnesty or
    enrolled in a "Guest worker program"? (1-10)
    5--We have had an amnesty program in the past that was not followed by rigorous
    immigration enforcement. If there is another amnesty program in the future, it
    must be followed with an enforcement policy that does not have incentives for
    violation.

    Federal and state tax dollars should be spent to provide translators and
    bilingual information in government agencies? (1-10)
    5--Translators for legal and medical reasons.

    Penalties provided under current laws should not be enforced on illegal
    immigrants? (1-10)
    2--Our laws should be applied equally against all violators.

    State and local law enforcement officers should be allowed to assist in
    immigration law enforcement? (1-10)
    9--This is not their primary responsibility, but when issue arises, they should
    take all appropriate legal actions.

    Illegal aliens that return to their home countries should be allowed to
    receive social security benefits? (1-10)
    5--In most cases they will not meet the requirments to receive Social Security
    benefits. For those that paid into Social Security and meet the requirements (age
    and quarters), then they should receive only what they are qualified for.
