How to research candidates and recommend for endorsement.
ALIPAC depends on its members to research and recommend which candidates to endorse and contribute to. Your help is needed.
Here are some suggestions and resources to help with your search.
To endorse a candidate, ALIPAC needs to know about both candidates and their stances on illegal immigration. We also need information about the district.
Please send your suggestions, research findings, and opinions to WilliamG@alipac.us for review and consideration.
Here are some resources to use.
1. ALIPAC's candidate surveys found in this forum.
2. Google News found at www.google.com (Try searches on "illegal immigration, immigration, immigration reform, etc.)
3. If the candidate is an incumbent, check their scorecards on illegal immigration reduction at
Americans for Better Immigration (ABI)
http://www.betterimmigration.com/
&
Numbers USA
http://www.numbersusa.com
4. Check out campaign websites for their views on illegal immigration. There are also several websites that list the different campaigns for Congress and US Senate.
Suggested Resources: http://www.congress.org
& http://www.politics1.com
5. Feel free to call or e-mail candidates and ask them specific questions about our issue.
We owe a great deal of thanks to those of you that are committed to ALIPAC's success. Thank you for your efforts. Please send me your suggestions, research, and feedback at WilliamG@alipac.us and I will relay the information to all of our members.
Kind Regards,
