    The Eighth Congressional District encompasses parts of 15 counties, and
    three whole counties, generally south of Atlanta. The district extends
    from Columbus up to Carrollton, over to Conyers, and south to Macon.

    Percentage of Democrat, Republican, and Unaffiliated Voters:
    We don’t have registration by party in Georgia, but the district voted
    gave President Bush 68.92% of the vote in 2000, and the Republican
    nominee for US Senate received 65.68%.

    Yes, I have publicly spoken in favor of legal immigration, and in favor
    of both deportation of illegal immigrants and allowing local law
    enforcement to assist federal authorities with immigration violations.

    My opponent favors allowing all illegal immigrants to be converted to

    Not of which I am aware, however, some of my biggest supporters are
    individuals that strongly support immigration reform.
