Amnesty No LEAVE Act Yes: H.R. 1196

Amnesty No LEAVE Act Yes: H.R. 1196

NO MORE OPEN BORDERS! NO MORE BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP!

NO MORE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FOR ILLEGALS!

Congressman Gary Miller (R-CA) has introduced comprehensive illegal immigration enforcement reform. H.R.1196, the Loophole Elimination and Verification Enforcement Act (LEAVE) is finally a piece of immigration reform that will help solve our border problems once and for all.

This act would ensure that our borders are protected by adding more agents on the ground. It would also end the anchor-baby scheme once and for all by eliminating birthright citizenship. Under this act, illegal immigrants would no longer be able to collect social security benefits either.

America is a melting pot, and we want immigrants. We want immigrants who want to come here with their families in order to become American and prosper. We want immigrants who believe that America is the land of opportunity, not a cash cow that they can milk and send back to their families in another country.

Without illegal immigration enforcement, we will continue to see our country deteriorate due to the high volume of illegals. Taxpayers will continue to foot the bill for their healthcare, welfare, education and crimes.

It is estimated that illegal immigration costs our country nearly $400 billion a year! With our staggering debt and deficit, we simply cannot afford to take care of these unskilled, uneducated workers anymore.

There are 6 cosponsors on this bill, currently. We need as much support as we can get if we hope to get this legislation passed.

AmeriPAC supports the LEAVE Act. We will be collecting funds to defeat those members of Congress who fail to support this legislation. This bill is so important to our country, and letting this issue be forgotten is no longer an option

    The Leave Act would:

    * Require E-Verification from every employer, to ensure they aren't knowingly hiring illegal immigrants.
*Require a Social Security card WITH a photo ID, a passport, a REAL ID Act compliant identification card or a USCIS ID card as acceptable forms of identification
    * Prohibit states from issuing driver's licenses unless citizenship or lawful immigration status is verified.
    * End the anchor-baby scheme by eliminating birthright citizenship
    * Ban states from giving in-state tuition to illegal immigrants (such as the DREAM Act)
    * Add more border patrol and ICE agents
    * Assist states in enforcing their illegal immigration laws
    * Require federal agencies to work with states in developing electronic birth and death registrations, to reduce the number of stolen identities
    * Mandate new fines and penalties for passport fraud
    * Stop allowing illegal immigrants to collect Social Security benefits
    * Prohibit the assistance or encouragement of illegal aliens to cross the border or remain in the United States
    * Increase alien smuggling penalties to 3 and 30 year prison sentences, depending on the type of offense
    * Expedite the deportation of illegal immigrants after incarceration

There is a lot more to this bill that would help enforce illegal immigration. If this bill passes, these things will make our country safer and provide law enforcement with the training and tools they need to remove illegal aliens and keep them from crossing our border.

Congress has allowed this issue to lapse for far too long.

Congress after Congress has claimed that they will tackle illegal immigration and immigration reform, yet every time the issue is presented; it gets put on the backburner. If the 112th Congress wants to truly get spending under control, we need to deal with the illegal immigrants that are sucking taxpayers dry.

Illegal immigrants are becoming more dangerous. On June 21st, a 22 year-old Pennsylvania man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a truck driven by an illegal alien, who fled the scene.

In late May, Officer Kevin Will was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver, who was an illegal immigrant. The immigrant had been deported twice before and was a member of a deadly gang.

These are just the most recent that have made the news. Reports indicate that illegal immigrants kill 12 Americans daily. That adds up to about 4,300 AMERICANS KILLED BY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS EVERY YEAR!

Congress can no longer ignore this issue.

Most of these deaths occur along the Border States. Recently, Arizona has come under fire for trying to enforce their illegal immigration laws. The left has been challenging the state (which has a Republican Governor) and trying to overturn the laws that are keeping illegals out of the country and helping keep their citizens safe.

A federal appeals court has upheld part of the law which punishes businesses who knowingly hire undocumented workers. But this is just one state. Because the left believes in amnesty and birthright citizenship, getting comprehensive immigration reform passed is going to be difficult.

The left wants open borders, freedom for low-skilled and/or dangerous illegal immigrants to flood our country, taking jobs, hurting our citizens and relying on taxpayer-funded welfare programs to survive.

    But we can't afford that.

The American taxpayers can no longer afford to allow Congress to bury this issue. Immigration needs to get done. Members of Congress are too frightened to lose their jobs over this issue, so it never gets done.

Congressman Gary Miller (R-CA) should be commended for having the courage to introduce this legislation. He will no doubt be open to attacks from the left calling him "racist" and trying to stop his legislation every step of the way.

    But we must pass it.

People are dying every day to illegal immigrants. Jobs are being lost every day because it's cheaper to hire an undocumented worker. Taxpayers are losing hundreds of billions of dollars every year paying for welfare for illegal immigrants.

And where does the money they make go? It goes back to their country of origin to provide for their families abroad. We need immigrants that are going to work for America. We need immigrants who know this is the greatest country on earth and want to work hard to support their families' right here.

Americans have had enough. It's time to stand up and DEMAND that Congress crack down on illegal immigration. It's time we pass H.R.1196.

Please FAX Congress and tell them to pass H.R.1196, the LEAVE Act. We need this to pass so that our citizens no longer have to fear their identities being stolen by illegals, no longer have to fear for their lives because of illegals, and no longer lose their jobs because of illegals.

    Sincerely,

    Alan Gottlieb
    Chairman, AmeriPAC

PS. H.R.1196 was just referred to sub-committee in June, 2011 and is just beginning to gain momentum. We need you to help keep pushing this important legislation, continue to pick up additional co-sponsors and eventually pass.

The Leave Act sounds like a much better Bill then Smiths E-Verify Bill. I will be pushing this one instead.

Numbersusa needs to get behind this bill instead of the dangerous Smith E-Verify Bill which will hinder States from enforcing their own Immigration laws.

Except for the national id, I am for this bill. I think the national Id is a dangerous proposition. Also the e-verify could be dangerous for citizens. I think only people that have accents (anykind) might be suspect. They should be e-verified, not American Citizens.
