Welcome to the wall, but it is not sufficient

    RAMI SCHWARTZ

Other methods need to be taken than the gringos

The best thing that could come to pass for Mexico is that the Gringos construct their wall. It s the one way that Mexico could wake up from it's long dream that has lasted thirty years, it is the cold shower that we need. Sure, to our politicians they have liked sending millions of Mexicans to he oter side of the border because they could kill three birds with one stone.

    1) With the remittance monies that they send, they have a method to a solving the problem of extreme misery and thus our own government does not need to worry about our own poor.

    2) If they continue sending Mexicans by the millions, then the government does not have to construct as many schools, hospitals and highways etc.

    3) They could continue robbing the poor as if they were beasts. From Bibriesca up to the Salinas brothers, from Lopez Obrador up to the Bejamarranos, all could just continue growing their bank accounts like they have up to the moment.

In as many words, Mexico has converted itself into the largest exporter of misery in the world and there is nothing that our politicians would like better than to keep on exporting all the problems that their infinite stupidity produces. Without a doubt the Americans have gotten tired of importing such misery and the wall is the first step for putting and end to this perverse equation.

It is for him that the wall needs to be welcomed, because finally it could set off the changes that our country needs.
Without a doubt the wall is not sufficient, to complement this method we need to take others of equal or greater wingspan, It is said they need to construct other walls more than thy have planned to hold off the demands of the immigrants:

    1) A WALL AGAINST ILLGOTTEN GAIN
Prohibit that the Mexican burglar politicians from entry, they are the real cause of all our problems of the country, that they could have bank accounts and properties in the States. In actuality they rob so much of what they want so that they can send away to their bank accounts in the United States or to other countries to invest there in new condo apartments and other real estate, in stocks and bonds. All of the complaints that the Gringos have made in respect to Mexico have failed because the flows are enormous, the corruption neutralizes whatever they intended to advance, the fruits of cooperation gather whatever is needed to coopt them.
It is profoundly hypocritical to construct a wall against the immigrants without constructing one equally to these flows of money that are he product of corruption.

    2) A WALL AGAINST MONOPOLIES
To prohibit that the great monopolies of Mexico, PEMEX in Oil, CFE in Electricity, TELMEX in telephones, TELEVISA in television have business in that country. If in the United States they prohibit monopolies they should prohibit monoploies from other countries, protected by their governments from utilizing this advantage to penetrate the market in the United States
Like in Mexico their politicians do not bother to castigate the monopolist practices and thanks to them the small and medium businesses are rapidly disappearing and unemployment is growing incrementally, the unique guaranty that they have in the United States compared to here in Mexico that generates employment is that they have prevented the existance of monopolies, that they can be substituted by small and medium sized businesses and they should combat it from there. Insist, it is an injustice to build a wall against migration without an equal wall confronting disloyal economic practices.

    3) A WALL AGAINST STUPIDITY
In Mexico, the political cost of criticizing the United States is zero, to he contrary, when a politician wants to gain more popularity, they have find they should demogogue against the neighbor to the north. From the President to the most minor functionary, all have access to the microphone and to come to public opinion, and they give light to stupid speech and hate against the United States. The United States should learn that to hear it from the Mexican politicians they should accept responsibility from everything wrong in our country. While they have had this as a pretext who pays their "broke plates". What reaction is going to follow making statements of foolishness and hate. It should be sufficient for the United States that they should keep a record of the imbecile declarations of our figures in government and to retract their visas. That they have said that Bush is a xenophobe and then go there to shop at the Galleria in Houston.

For this it is enough to say welcome to the wall, but plase god thy should erect many more walls. The wall is neccessary for that our government wake up and do it's work, that our people bring to account the people who govern us and that the monopolies be made to account that they are destroying the internal market and the acquisitive power of the people, and finally the Mexican people construct our future based in reality and not utopias, with responsible people and not those of limited vision.

For their side the Gringos should learn that a wall is not sufficient, that to take to Mexico out of the ditch requires more of an integral politics that could radically change the whole country, because the hordes of Mexicans that are going to the United States are the consequence of many things hat have gone wrong in Mexico and if they only construct a wall, it does not give any integral solution to the problems, the actuality is hat hey could get radically worse.

Bienvenido el Muro, pero no es suficiente

    RAMI SCHWARTZ

I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Based on what americanpatrol.com is saying, I'm not very impressed with the status of the often-flimsy border fence.

Well, we actually visited the fence in these areas Sunday, and we can say from FIRST HAND views that this is one heck of a fence! It goes down some 8-10 Feet into the ground, and the 4-6" square pipes are filled with Rebar and then CEMENT is poured into them along with a concrete footing 8' DEEP! Then this 1/2 inch metal plate at the top of the fence some 14-16' above ground!

IF ABP has a differing view, ok, but these are the actual photos as you can see from the date stamps on them and the folks there.

We were told by the construction crew that this fence is also set in at a Diagional to help maintain strength! It seems that someone on the South side tried to test it with a pickup truck and totaled out the truck and did not even make a dent in the fence!

So, draw your own conclusions........ But I know what we saw..

Come join us here at Camp V and partake in the great facilities we have and enjoy being part of one of the best efforts this year to help secure our southern borders!

For reservations and information on Camp V, go to http://www.campvigilance.com

    A note today from Carl:

As you know, exactly three years ago to the day, a group of ordinary citizens descended upon O’Neil Valley in East County San Diego to set up the first full month-long Border Watch for the CA Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. That month 188 men and women, mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers from 18 to 82 set up camp on that mile stretch of border and others like it to protest our insecure border with Mexico.

Sine then, 34 musters later, 6 of them over one-month long, 180,000 hours of field service and we ask ourselves what have we accomplished? Well aside from stopping thousands of would be drug dealers, rapists, murderers and people smugglers and millions of dollars in drugs seized we can now add one more thing to our list. Scroll down.

And now the photos of the new CALIFORNIA FENCE!

O'Neil Valley CA! Now this is a heck of a FENCE!

See, we actually helped get this fence in! WE COUNT!

Long way down in there Peper!

OLD fence in Background! What a farce!

    Looking EAST NOW!

Looking West NOW, even a NEW ROAD going over the mountain!

Look at how strong this puppy is!

They fill up the colums with rebar and then POUR in CEMENT into them!

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
This fence and many miles more are being installed all along the CA border. 18 foot high and each post filled with concrete it is a sight to be seen ( and not seen as another 8 foot is underground). O’Neil will be finished this month and will connect with the same fence nearly completed in Jacumba (yup. OVER Airport Mesa).

In fact the fence must be completed by December 31, 2008 or the money dry’s up. There will still be gaping holes in the fence here in CA, most notably in the Gun Club area. Still, this is a helluvva start and YOU DID IT!

Now, come on down to the border and give yourself a big pat on the back. We’re there all month long because as you can imagine, the rush is on to see how many illegal invaders can get through the holes before they are plugged up. We need your help now more than ever! Time to finish the job!

After the group visited the fence they came back to camp with the happiest grins from ear to ear and with tears in their eyes! After 3+ years of effort it is PAYING OFF!

    We can formally announce that

THE FRIGGEN FENCE IS BEING BUILT! AND WE HAVE SEEN IT!"
    Ken

Look, we helped get this get created!
We can and do make a difference!

Looks like the coyotes could throw a "Batman" type hook with rope ladder attached and then the illegals could climb over that way. Of course that would at least slow them down and only fit illegals could get over. It's better than what we now have.

Also try to get the picture, there are NO foot holding areas on this new fence, it si just smooth metal surface, so they will have to be really really good rope climbers!

I think Glen Spencer's gripe is quanity not quality. The feds are saying one thing and he has continually proved them wrong. If you look at the fence pictured, quality is visually self evident.
To those of us who have worked along this section of border in Jacumba,
for the past 3 years this fence is a God-Send.Im sure the Border Patrol
    thinks the same!

Not if they have a rope LADDER, in other words two ropes with boards tied in between every foot. It would still be hard, and only one person could cross at a time.

If they also have sensors or cameras along the fence, the Border Patrol could be there in the time it took 20 illegals to cross.
