BPAUX assists in rescue/recovery mission on first muster

Border Patrol Auxiliary is assisting in the search and recovery for a missing female illegal alien who was to have crossed the border within the last 8 days and was reported to be dead in the area.
Temps at night are in the low 30's with highs in the 50's with light winds to the North.
Working in co-operation with a local Rescue group that helps endangered illegal Aliens who have crossed illegally into the US who have medical or physical problems and are in need of help the Border Patrol Auxiliary dispatched 12 of its finest agents into the field today around 14:00 in search for a young women's body who was last seen in a small house like structure along the CA & Mexico border possibly with a child or children. Details provided by the rescue group.
BPAUX was in the are doing routine field training and chose to assist in the search for the woman. The area is known for it's rugged terrain, steep cliffs and cold weather in this time of the year.
BPAUX members were dispatched into several areas covering approximately 2 sq miles in search of the woman's body or any evidence of her or any small children.
BPAUX mission is to work with local, state & federal law enforcement agencies along with border patrol to help keep America Safe.
