Alert! HR 1274 would increase interior enforcement and border security!

Representative Ed Royce (R-CA) has introduced HR 1274 to increase border security and strengthen interior enforcement. The Keeping the Pledge on Immigration Act of 2011 would provide up to 4,000 additional National Guard troops—if requested by the border state governors—to patrol the southern border until the DHS Secretary certifies that the federal government has achieved operational control of the border.
