Some of the details leaked to the press under the GUTIERREZ-FLAKE BILL:

Every illegal alien who produces marginally plausible “evidence” he/she had been illegally present in the United States since June 1, 2006 would get amnesty and be put on the path to US citizenship.
Illegal aliens would pay $2,000, pass a criminal record check, pay at least some of any income taxes he/she had chosen not to pay while working illegally, and learn some English.
The overburdened and error-prone U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) would be responsible for ensuring that applicants meet these criteria and for handing out temporary visas and work permits to millions of illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens with temporary status for six years automatically get issued green cards from USCIS after learning passable English competency.
The many exemptions for some heads of household, single heads of household, children, the elderly, business owners, and those in the military would allow criminals and terrorists whose fingerprints are not on file with the FBI to have official documents under false names.
Illegal aliens left out of the general amnesty could qualify for the AgJOBS amnesty simply by claiming to have performed agricultural work in the United States.
The Ag fraud rate for amnesty in 1986 is estimated at 70% and resulted in at least one of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers getting a green card to stay in our country to kill innocent American citizens.
Also included is the DREAM Act amnesty for those who received a U.S. taxpayer-funded high school diploma or an equivalent.
To ensure a constant flow of cheap labor into the United States, the bill would create a worker importation program for an additional 400,000 foreign “guest” workers each year, all of whom would be given the choice to stay permanently.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), that presently ALLOWS illegal aliens to stream across the border, thereby creating our current border security crisis would become responsible to:
Certify that it is capable of verifying workers’ legal status.
Enforce the bill mandate that all employers eventually verify the legal status of their workforce which DHS is not doing under current laws.
Establish the “North American Security Perimeter” with Mexico and its corrupt government ruled by drug lords as our first—and only—line of defense against any security threat from the south.
Do NOT assume that because your U.S. Representative acted against amnesty last year that he/she will do so again this year.

Several Members of Congress who have voted to secure the U.S. border in the past are working with the White House to push an amnesty “compromise” that will destroy our sovereignty and create a wide open border, with no standards for U.S. citizenship.

Make sure your Congressman and staff are fully aware of your convictions against these newest amnesty schemes.

The new bill is designed to lure more Hispanic votes, casting aside the security concerns of law-abiding Americans working hard day after day to live according to the rule of law.

Only pay SOME of any income taxes? How the hell are they going to know exactly an illegal made to base a back tax liability on? Do they think illegals are now going to be shining with honesty and tell them exactly how much they made under the table?

I sure wish the POS alphabet agency called the IRS would give American citizens that kind of break.
