Dear Immigration Control Supporters,
Do you want illegal immigrants to have New Jersey driver's licenses?
Two bills have been introduced in the Assembly and Senate (A-2135 and S-1696) to
give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. You may look them up on
www.NJleg.state.nj.us/.
They would proceed first to, yes, the Transportation Committee!
One way to look at this is to say if you break the law and come to New Jersey
illegally,
we will give you a reward. Break the law and we will help you compete for jobs
with American citizens.
We already have over 550,000 illegal immigrants in our state. Passage of this
legislation
would simply encourage more to come here. Just as recent passage of in-state tuition
for illegals already has done so.
We need your help to fight this legislation which we will do with the appropriate
backing by taking ads, encouraging letters to our legislators, and appearing in
opposition at any committee hearings. Please make a donation to NJCIC by check
