Lobby At-Home Activity for Wednesday...Call D.C. Offices!
Spirits were high today, boasted further by the news that Sen. Harry Reid (R-NV) was admitting defeat in Senate efforts to keep the REAL ID language off the Emergency Appropriations Act.
FAIR hosted a press conference and reception attended by a large number of members of Congress, all of whom applauded the efforts of activists and talk show hosts from across the nation.

At radio row, broadcasters continue around the clock reporting information and feedback from lobby teams across Capitol Hill. Key legislators are also dropping by for interviews - including Senators Jon Kyl (R-AZ), Rick Santorum (R-PA) Arlen Specter (R-PA), George Allen (R-VA), and Representatives Steve King (R-IA), J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ), Phil Gingrey (R-GA), John Sullivan (R-OK), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Gary Miller (R-CA), Ed Royce (R-CA), and Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA). Tomorrow morning at 8:00AM, House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) will be interviewed.

Activists were interviewed by national media, CNN and Fox, and minuteman activists Chris Simcox and Jim Gilchrest hosted a wildly successful press conference at the National Press Club.

Simultaneously, our at-home lobbyists flooded Capitol Hill offices with THOUSANDS of faxes in support of Feet to the Fire efforts.
