Subject: Republicans: Frist caves totally to mass amnesty -- call him

From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA

Frist is pushing amnesty for probably 10 - 16 million illegal aliens

Dear Republicans,

You have indicated on your Interest Survey that you identify yourself with the Republican Party.

You can make a major impression today and Friday morning if you call one of Sen. Frist's offices and let staffers know what you think of his flip-flop into a pro-illegal immigration presidential candidate today.

We have no idea why he thinks he can get by with this politically.

You notice that he is scared enough of voters to claim he doesn't support an amnesty.

Thus, he must think he can fool the voters.

When you call, start by saying you are a Republican voter, identify your state and say what you intend to do in reaction to Frist's betrayal today.

Senator Frist (R-Tennessee), the Senate Majority Leader, has gone from being a possible defender against illegal immigration to becoming one of the half-dozen most powerful pushers of mass amnesty for illegal aliens.

After months of saying he opposes amnesty ....

After the last two weeks of saying that the Senate must not pass an amnesty bill ....

He has come out today in favor of the Hagel/Martinez amnesty proposal. Behind the scenes, we are told Frist has twisted enough arms that he will pass this giant amnesty on Friday.

Of course, Frist still stood on the Senate floor and said that this is not an amnesty.

He now stands in the presidential candiate corner with McCain -- and really appears to be very little different.

Frist and McCain are the Republican Presidential candidates running on their support for amnesty, for current illegal aliens and for doubling the importation of foreign workers and dependents to 2 million a year.

I urge you to phone Frist until you get through and let them know that you know that you have been deceived, deserted and defamed in your citizenship.

It is doubtful that Sen. Frist after publicly announcing that he has flipped to the side of Kennedy, McCain and the open borders lobby for massive amnesty, can be brought back to immigration sanity.

But it is very important for other Senators to see that Sen. Frist pays a price for what he has done over the last 24 hours.

(BUT CALL YOUR OWN SENATORS FIRST.)

Here is another number you might call:

615-386-0045

This is the phone number for his Political Action Committee.

They will tell you they have nothing to do with legislation, so you had better just start out saying something like:

"I'm a Republican voter and I will do all I can to keep anybody from donating to -- or voting for -- Sen. Frist now that he is pushing a citizenship amnesty for 8-16 million illegal aliens.

HELP SEN. ALLEN & ANY OTHER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

Sen. Allen (R-VA) has been making even stronger speeches against amnesty than has Sen. Frist.

Why not give his office a call and let them know that Frist has blown any chance he has with law-and-order Republicans and that people like you are looking to Sen. Allen to provide a clear choice in the Presidential sweepstakes.
