Thread: Good News from Louisiana - Bay Buchanan

First, the good news from Louisiana. Their runoff election in the Fourth District got delayed because of a hurricane; so they just held the election on Saturday. With all precincts reporting Team America Candidate John Fleming won his election by a nose! Fleming ran as a tough secure the borders, anti-amnesty candidate. His platform called for ending birthright citizenship, deporting illegal alien criminals, rejecting all amnesties, and building the fence on the Mexican Border.

And. Boy, do we need him. Obama hasn't assumed office yet, but the news keeps getting worse. I told you how he put a La Raza member and a proponent of a "borderless North America" in charge of his immigration transition team. Well now he just tapped La Raza's Vice President Cecilia Munoz as director for intergovernmental affairs.

The buzz around Washington is that Obama will cut down raids, stop construction of the border fence, and reign in on state and local governments taking immigration head on. This is just buzz, but filling his administration with open borders fanatics is a bad sign.

But we can't despair. With fresh new faces in Congress like John Fleming, Jason Chaffetz, Duncan Hunter Jr., and Tom McClintock, we are in a strong position to stop the La Raza administration. I'm working hard with other anti-amnesty so we will be ready to counter-attack as soon as Congress gets back in session in January.
