The Government Accountability Doctrine

You may be aware Clinton has asked for the fairness doctrine . I feel it only appropriate to call for this doctrine , its long passed due.


I want to propose a bill called the Government Accountability Doctrine. To be written by the people of the United States.

This bill would require that all senators and congressman do exactly what the public wants them to do. Each issue would be voted upon by the public over the internet and those elected would be expected to carry though immediately as directed. The senate nor the congress could make any changes to any bill voted upon by the public. Retired congressmen and women, Senators and anyone else working for the Federal Government will not get a 100 percent of their pay when retiring and will have to use Tricare as their means of health care.


Paulson of treasury would have to explained how he could overpay 78 billion dollars to the banking industry and why he can't get it back. The people would then determine the sentence for Paulson and the bank CEO's.

All senators and congressmen/women would be held accountable for there responsibilities. They would have to learn to speak English using no metaphors or legal terms. When asked a direct question they could only give a direct understandable answer. Terms such as "I forgot" or "not to my knowledge" or "from what I remember" or "I did not have sex with that women" would not be tolerated.

This bill would include city , county, state and federal governments. There would be no appointments everyone would be voted into office by the public. Every position would be limited to four years. Mandatory jail time would apply for any public official committing a felony and jail time would be determined by the public again voting over the internet. The felon would lose any retirement benefits and could not hold public office again.

Lobbing would be against the law and jail time for outside company officials and government officials would be the same. Once accused and proven the sentence would be voted on by the public and jail time instituted immediately.

Random audits of all of the agency's and departments would be mandatory. Approved checks and balances put into place by the people. These would be susceptible to change at any time based upon loopholes found by the audit teams.

All laws in our books would be enforced and if any government official did nor comply they would be fired immediately. Anyone running for public office could only hold that office and no other. Pay would be determined by performance only and again voted upon by the public. No government vehicles would be given for personal business. No clothing allowance or food allowance. There would be strict accountability for all government property on a monthly basis.

Veterans injured in combat would receive 100% medical and would include family coverage. If military personal are killed in combat their children and spouse would receive a monthly death check and full medical benefits for the rest of their lives.

Socialism strictly forbidden no bail out programs for poorly managed companies.

We would Build it here , Keep it here and Buy it here. By American would not be tag a dirty phrase but rather be honored. No globalization Allowed! If you are a company the choice is yours, build it here or move to another country. Only the greedy push globalization it is a highly un-American thing to do.
