TAKE ACTION: Tell Congress to STAND

DEMAND THEY SAY NO TO PRO-ILLEGAL ALIEN LEGISLATION

URGENT: In an attempt to undercut and circumvent the U.S. Supreme Court, which is widely expected to uphold Arizona's tough anti-illegal immigration enforcement law, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is working to ram Barack Obama's pro-Amnesty for Illegal Aliens policy down our throats and strip ALL 50 states of their sovereignty.

You read that right. Fully anticipating the Supreme Court to uphold Arizona's SB 1070, Schumer - Chairman of a Senate subcommittee on immigration - is moving full speed ahead with legislation to kill Arizona's law and others like it by outright banning states from passing any legislation to crack down on illegal immigration.

Never mind the fact that the Obama Administration refuses to enforce our nation's immigration laws... Damn the Constitution and states' rights...

...Schumer and the Obama Administration have made it clear that they will stop at nothing to impose their extreme illegal alien policies on the entire nation, regardless of what the America people think or the Supreme Court says.

As Sean McCaffrey, founder of Ban Amnesty Now, put it,

"Mr. Schumer isn't drunk with power, he's clearly moved on to much stronger drugs than alcohol. Clearly what America thinks doesn't matter to Barack Obama or Chuck Schumer."

Attorneys for the Obama Administration left the Supreme Court Arizona immigration law hearings last month in a slump. Based on the justices' comments and questions, it appears the administration will lose and Arizona's immigration enforcement law will stand.

During the hearing, Justice Scalia posed the following question:

"What does sovereignty mean if it does not include the authority to defend your borders?"

Chief Justice Roberts asked,

"What could possibly be wrong with State law enforcement officers checking the legal immigration status of detainees" and passing that information to Federal immigration enforcement officials?

Even Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor told Administration attorney's that their arguments were "confusing" and "not selling very well" with the justices.

But the likely pro-Arizona ruling means nothing to the liberals backing the Obama Administration's determination to force the states to accept and grant special protected status to illegal aliens.

Why is Schumer and the Obama Administration so dead set on blocking Arizona and other states from doing the job that the federal government for too long has refused to do - ENFORCE OUR NATION'S ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION LAWS?

Put simply, because Arizona's SB 1070 is working. According to Russell Pearce, the former Republican Arizona state senator who sponsored Arizona's tough illegal immigration enforcement law:

"In 2009, illegal immigrants comprised 9.8 percent of Arizona's workforce (Pew Hispanic Center) and the Federation for American Immigration Reform found that illegals cost Arizona taxpayers $2.6 billion a year. At the same time, failure to enforce our laws led to rampant crime, Phoenix had the highest kidnapping rate in the country, and dozens of police officers and citizens were killed or maimed by illegals."

After SB 1070 was signed into law in 2010, Pearce notes that the illegal alien population in Arizona fell by 110,000, or 23 percent, that year alone according to Department of Homeland Security estimates.

And the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association announced in a statement that, "Since SB 1070, Phoenix has experienced a 30-year low crime rate."

In other words, the Arizona immigration enforcement law is working exactly as it was intended to. And that puts a thorn in the side of the Obama Administration and their liberal allies in Congress who prefer to turn a blind eye to our nation's porous borders - especially in an election year.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! For a United States Senator, particularly the third most powerful man in the Senate, to be willing to shred states' rights and thumb his nose at the American people by putting politics ahead of the rule of law and the Constitution is not only disturbing, but also despicable.

And we cannot - WE MUST NOT - allow it to stand.

We must defeat Schumer's law right now, before it gains any more traction in Congress. We must now compel Congress to stand with Arizona - stand with America - and reject Schumer's legislation and any other attempt to give illegal aliens special status.
