Lou Barletta, the immigration hero of Hazelton, PA needs our help and he needs it now!

With the economy in the tank, Lou and many of other terrific candidates are being blamed for the policies of George W. Bush and Harry Reid--and their numbers are slipping. Just last month Lou was up nine percent, but the race has tightened. We simply can't risk losing this race. It is so important that Team America is making it our #1 priority!

You already know just how good Lou Barletta is. More than anyone else in the country, he can take credit for the movement of local governments taking illegal immigration head on. With Tom retiring, we can trust Lou to take his place as the most gutsy and principled advocate for our cause in the House.

As an added bonus, we'll get to kick out Paul Kanjorski. In his 11 terms in Congress, Kanjorski has voted for amnesty at every opportunity and has a F- rating on the issue from Numbers USA. He voted to send Social Security funds to Mexico. He voted against punishing sanctuary cities and to allow illegal aliens to vote in union elections. He even voted to allow illegal aliens to use Mexican issued matricula consular cards to get driver's licenses and bank loans (and you wonder why we have a mortgage crisis!)

Kanjorski knows the voters support Barletta's get tough views on amnesty; so he is hiding from his record and pretending to be solid on illegal immigration. The media is playing along, and one local paper just ran a headline "Kanjorski, Barletta see immigration similarly."

This is why Team America is using an independent expenditure to fund radio ads to make sure the voters of Pennsylvania know that a vote for Barletta is a vote for enforcing our laws, and a vote for Kanjorski is a vote for amnesty.

Team America has already put aside all costs of production and another $18,000 for the media buys. This is a great start but we need your help if we are to have a really strong and penetrating buy. One radio ad can be bought in some parts of Lou's district for as little as $26. Can you help by buying an ad or two (or more if you can) for Lou? [Click here to contribute]

I cannot stress how important winning this election is to our cause. It is more than just getting one great congressman in office--and a terrible one out. A Barletta victory will send shockwaves across the entire House of Representatives. If a small town Republican Mayor takes out a 11 term Democratic incumbent in this electoral climate, it will send a clear message that the voters take illegal immigration seriously, and any congressman that wants to be reelected in 2010 better not vote for amnesty!

This year alone Team America has contributed or raised nearly $100,000 for immigration propositions and candidates. And we are not finished yet!
But first we must do everything we can for Lou Barletta. This weekend I will approve the radio commercial and Monday we will start buying time. Please give as generously as possible so that we can let as many voters as possible know the truth about the two candidates.
