National Day Of Protest- Long Island

Success at the Minuteman rally today at the Home Depot on Sunrise
Highway in Freeport, Long Island, New York. Television and
newspaper reporters were present. Pro-open-border-mafia types did
show up to protest the Minuteman, and despite their slinging mud and
racist labels, etc., there was no serious verbal confrontation and
no physical confrontation at all. Kudos to the Freeport Police
Department for showing up in force to keep the peace and keep the
open-border mafioso from getting into the Minutemen's faces and
provoking a confrontation, which they tried to do.

By the way, we held up a sign that read "Honk for Secure Borders" at
the side of the road. At least 50-60 cars and trucks honked at us
and gave us thumbs up. In contrast, only 2 cars honked for the wack
    jobs.

So many people gave us thumbs up, I was worried that we weren't
getting to see anyone flip us the bird, but at the end, one poor
misguided woman drove by and gave us the middle finger, much to our
    delight.

Get out there and pound the pavement, brothers and sisters. We have
popular support on our side. We need strong showings at every event.

Today for the first time - I openly - I went out in public with one of those corporate idenity badges -
    only mine read
jan 7 national day of protest
    Biuld the Fence
    stop illegal immigration

and it was really positive in a small way
first - a woman where I go to buy things - read it and said" Good you are among friends here"
i went out into the lobby where I has left Alipac flyers and brought her one-
    she told me that someone was giving them to the public library to post( well Ive been doing that too did she mean me or someone else?}
a woman in line asked if she could have the flyer and practically grabbed it.
then I went to the mega store- the clerk kept staring at my badge and I said ' its about illegal immigration" she said I know I'am with you"
    baby steps
but I plan to keep wearing it - only I will put alipac's web site on it.
I really think every say should be a public day of protest-
people are behind us they just need a way to focus ----!!!!!
