Extreme Sacrifice... NO Amnesty! 24 hour Chain Protest
Protest
-- starts Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. and continues until Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. (24 hours non-stop protest)
Location: Los Angeles County (eastern part of county)
(CONTACT EVENT ORGANIZER FOR EXACT LOCATION)
Unless we act now, the U.S. Congress may very well pass an amnesty (i.e., the so-called "guestworker plans") such as the McCain/Kennedy Amnesty Bill. Up to 20 million illegal aliens with no particular allegiance to our Republic nor any interest in assimilation will gain citizenship and be rewarded for breaking our immigration laws. We are going to show the Congress that We the People are resolute to defend our Republic with every legal means under the Law, Constitution and Bill of Rights! With no sleep, no food and only one glass of water, American patriots will stand for 24 hour peacefully chained together. Please note that people can participate at any level they wish -- You can stop by for whatever length of time you're comfortable with (any amount of time would be appreciated) and can bring your signs.

40th Annual Laguna Beach (California) Patriot's Day Parade
DEVELOPING STORY: Minutemen seek to participate in the parade, but have been BANNED by city officials.

Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, California

City of Laguna Beach officials are attempting to ban the Minutemen and Jim Gilchrist from the Patriots' Day Parade, stating that the Minutemen are political and "too controversial", but they have approved participation by an extremist anti-war group that holds protests in the City every Saturday (see http://ocpeace.org/weeklylaguna.html for info. on these weekly anti-war protests). Another participant in the Patriots' Day Parade (for the last 8 years) is the La Playa Center, which operates the illegal immigrant Day Labor site in the city and has participated in this parade for 8 years!

Ongoing Surveillance and Reporting Operations at Illegal Alien Day Labor Centers (2 locations):
• Burbank, California (next to the new Burbank Home Depot store)
• Glendale, California (next to the Glendale Home Depot store)

Ongoing operations at various times and dates (contact organizer for more information)

Illegal alien day labor sites allow unscrupulous employers to hire illegal immigrants at exploitation wages, instead of Americans (and legal residents) at the respectable wages most Americans demand. Less than 6 percent of day laborers entered the United States legally, per a comprehensive UCLA study on day labor sites. Home Depot has financially supported illegal alien day labor centers in both Burbank and Glendale (as well as many other locations across the country), in clear violation of federal immigration laws. These ongoing surveillance operation involve photographing and reporting to federal and state authorities, and several websites, those employers illegally hiring illegal immigrants. The importance of these sorts of actions cannot be overstated. A few dedicated activists can effectively close down a day labor site as these un-American contractors/employers rarely pick up illegal immigrants when informed they will be reported to law enforcement.

NORTH CAROLINA

Rally with keynote speaker Congressman Tom Tancredo
Phillip O. Berry Academy Gymnasium
Charlotte, North Carolina
January 30, 2006 at 7 P.M.

As part of his "Secure America Now" tour, Congressman Tom Tancredo will keynote this rally. Attendees are encouraged to contact Senators Dole and Burr to oppose any amnesty bill for millions of illegal aliens disguised as a "Guest Worker" bill. Many members of North Carolina's Congressional delegation oppose such Guest Worker / Amnesty plans. NC Congressional representatives Coble, Foxx, Hayes, Jones, McIntyre, and Myrick are members of Tancredo's 91-member Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus. Congressman McHenry has also stated his opposition to Guest Worker / Amnesty provisions. Senators Burr and Dole have been leaning towards supporting an amnesty, which is favored by many corporate Political Action Committees. The US Senate will debate this matter soon. Dole and Burr's positions are out of line with North Carolina voters in a state where benefits and rewards for illegal aliens are opposed by over 80% of the population in numerous polls. Other speakers at the event will include Bay Buchanan of Tancredo's Team American PAC, William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, Ron Woodard of NC Listen, with the MC being Vernon Robinson of NC Education Reform Action Network.
