New Congress and President must replace illegal workers with jobless Americans

    http://www.numbersusa.com/actionbuffet

    Rep. xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, US House of Representatives
    Washington, DC 20515

    Dear Representative xxxxxxx:

The old system of allowing employers to hire illegal workers will not solve our new economic problems. The U.S government must get serious about protecting American workers from illegal hiring practices.

American workers, taxpayers, and families cannot afford an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. With billions of dollars already going to bailout big business and CEOs, the government should not bailout businesses that hire illegal workers, or people who violate our immigration laws to take jobs that might otherwise go to Americans or legal immigrants.

Our economy cannot continue to run on an illegal workforce, which keeps wages down and profits high while taxpayers pick up the tab for public services. The federal government does not have the funds to pay for a mass amnesty, and neither do the states. While unscrupulous employers increase their profits from illegal labor, our schools, hospitals and infrastructure suffer. Putting illegal workers on a path to citizenship will only make matters worse. The jobs held by illegal workers will be taken away from native-born workers and legal immigrants permanently, and the families of the low-wage amnestied workers will qualify for more social services, thus adding the burden to the hard-working, tax-paying families that should be your first priority.

Instead of amnesty, Congress should finally require employers to verify the eligibility of their workers. Pass the E-Verify reauthorization and the SAVE Act.

    Unable to comprehend your actions,

    Your Name

P.S. Instead of amnesty, Congress should finally require employers to verify the eligibility of their workers. We have had it with your complete disregard for the peoples will. You are the apitomy of Fraud, Waste And Abuse. I love how you nut cases open up my wallet and Tell Me What I Will Spend My Money On! Work on your resume. No bailout for corporate special interests

    Rep. xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
    xxxxxxxxx, US House of Representatives
    Washington, DC 20515

    Dear Representative xxxxxxx:

Congress' mass immigration policies have benefited wealthy CEOs at the expense of taxpayers. Please stop the corporate-first immigration policies and support American workers.

The cheap labor lobby has some nerve to claim that they need workers for meatpacking, poultry plants, plant nurseries, landscape laborers, construction, restaurant work, and to work in hotels as maids and janitors at a time when 9 million Americans are looking for a job but can't find one and millions more are either underemployed or have given up looking for a job. Many of the jobs listed above have been stigmatized as work that "Americans won't do," but that is an insult to the millions of Americans who have held or continue to hold those jobs despite stagnate or declining wages and deteriorating working conditions because employers have easy access to low-skilled immigrants from the Third World to work under conditions that few Americans would tolerate.

Common sense and basic economics tells us that admitting large numbers of low-skilled immigrants damages the prospects for low-skilled American workers. Between 2000 and 2005, the jobless rate for Americans without a high school degree increased by 2 million even as the number of immigrants without high school degrees grew by 1.5 million and wages fell relative to inflation. That of course, was before our current economic crisis.

    Unable to comprehend your actions,

    Your Name

P.S. Corporate elites have enjoyed massive profits from cheap labor over the past twenty years and little of those profits have been shared with the rest of the American public. Now, as the middle and working classes are footing the bill for massive corporate bailouts, the cheap labor lobby wants another government handout in the form of yet more cheap foreign workers. Don't give it to them.

CHEP USA has entered into ICE's IMAGE program to hire only legal workers

    Ms. Thomasina Kennedy
Director, Human Resouces Operations, CHEP USA, 8517 S. Park Cir.
    Orlando, FL 32806

    Dear Ms. Kennedy:

Thank you for putting legal workers first by signing up for the IMAGE program.

The more I read about the IMAGE program the more I agree with you that "it's the right thing to do." Illegal immigration puts a strain on taxpayers and working families. Everyone knows that the primary magnet of illegal immigration is jobs and employers have a responsibility to combat unlawful employment and the identity fraud used by many illegal workers. By voluntarily participating in the IMAGE program, CHEP USA and other businesses can build a reliable workforce of hard-working Americans and legal immigrants and benefit the rest of the nation at the same time. Your employment practices are a model that other employers should emulate.

    An American for sovereignty,

    Your Name

P.S. Thank You.. Finally someone looking out for a US LEGAL resident
