Vote on Conference Stimulus Package without E-Verify Expected in both House and Senate Today

The House of Representatives just completed a procedural vote to open up general floor debate on the conference version of the economic stimulus package. The House is expecting to make a final vote on the bill that excludes E-Verify around 1:30 p.m. The Senate is hoping to have a final vote on the bill later today.

Before both the House and Senate adjourn for the Presidents' Day recess, send a fax or make a phone call to your representatives expressing your outrage at the exclusion of E-Verify from the stimulus package.
