Rise of Independent voters in America

I saw on Lou Dobbs last night the rise in registered independent voters. They don't have the transcript listed yet, so I found this link to an Independent voter organization. The American people are definately sick of a two party system.

42% of Americans identify as independents in the latest polls. In California 23% of registered voters are independents.

Absolutly.....people are sick of this of this 2 party system. Problem is in some states you can't vote in the primaries if you aren't a registered Republician or Democrat. Found that out when I lived in Florida. I don't like that rule myself.

I was so happy to hear this because I always wondered...how many of us independents where out there...I really had no idea...maybe I won't have to sign in names anymore on election days
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

I believe in freedom of choice, but I guess the two parties don't agree.
