PRO- BORDER PATROL RALLY - SEQUIM, WA, MAR.7TH
PRESS RELEASE: March 3, 2009
Dozens of Washington State members of Minuteman Civil Defense Corps will join with a large group of local concerned
citizens on Saturday, March 7th, in Sequim, WA., to demonstrate in support of U.S. Border Patrol.
This Pro - Border Patrol Rally will occur between the hours of 12:00 Noon until roughly 2:30 P.M. along W. Washington St. in Sequim,
near the intersection of Priest Rd.
Local residents & members of the Minutemen are concerned that a small but vocal minority are sending the wrong message, in
conjunction with the A.C.L.U., that the efforts by Border Patrol to defend against terrorism and remove illegal aliens from the area
are not deeply appreciated.
Men & women of U.S. Border Patrol have been acting within their "standard operating procedure" and within their jurisdiction recently
in conducting highway spot-checks and bus-boardings in order to identify and remove those people whom are within our sovereign
borders illegaly.
