    The White House is denying the Chinese were allowed to raise their communist flag on the White House lawn.

    The flag was raised in "a small park south of the White House" (the Ellipse), not on the south White House lawn. The Ellipse is a public park run by the National Park Service.

    Foreign flags are regularly flown at the Blair House when visiting heads of state are staying there. Also, the Papal flag was on the South Lawn when the Pope was there and the UK flag was there when the queen visted.

    The rule is that no other flag can fly ABOVE the American Flag - like they did in California during the protests a few years ago, when they flew the Mexican Flag above the American Flag.

    This is really an irrelevant issue that has been blown out of proportion and distorts the crediblity and seriousness of ALIPAC's purpose.

    Diverting our focus to the governance of a foreign country and where they raise their flag, rather than matters here at home is a waste of time, energy and resources.

    JuneS_Reston: It sound like you are attacking others. It is very important what flag is flying and where it is flying. It may not be important to you but it is important to others just as I-9s, Census, Immigration, No Amnesty, the porous borders, and etc....

    Don't try to tell me how to THINK!

    China is one of our biggest problems.
