Amnesty officially begins in Senate -- Fax/Phone now
From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA
Date: Friday 1MAY09 9 a.m. EDT
Bi-partisan Senate push for amnesty starts -- U.S. jobless workers thrown under the bus -- ACT NOW
FRIENDS, THE SENATE NEEDS YOUR IMMEDIATE RESPONSE!
Your Senators need phone calls today before the rancid thinking of yesterday's immigration hearing infects their views on what makes political sense this year.
Did you think Senators might be too smart this year -- or too moral or at least too embarrassed -- to push for more foreign workers while millions of Americans are losing their jobs?
Such modest faith in U.S. Senators was dashed yesterday by the Senate Judiciary Committee in a first hearing of its immigration panel.
Senators made it clear that they are hopeful that the American people will let them pass the amnesty this year that was blocked in 2007.
And the Senators made it clear that the only thing that will stop the Senate from passing an amnesty for illegal foreign workers this year is if regular citizens like you mount immediate and sustained protests.
They said they really think Americans have become resigned to an amnesty.
PHONE NOW: 202-224-3121
Just make a simple call and tell your two Senators that you are disgusted by the display of utter moral depravity of the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday in its preference for illegal foreign workers and the outlaw businesses that hire them over the needs of the 13 million U.S. workers who can't find a job.
Go to your Action Buffet corkboard and send new faxes and check your phone notes for talking points.
Perhaps the saddest part of the hearing yesterday was that the Senators didn't even acknowledge that 13 million unemployed U.S. workers should be part of the consideration of what to do about immigration.
All but one of the witnesses spoke of immigration without any reference to America's jobless.
We could have expected as much from the new immigration chairman -- Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY). He helped pass the first amnesty in 1986 and has never stopped working against the interests of vulnerable U.S. workers.
But especically disheartening was the mostly agreement from the ranking Republican on the immigration panel, Sen. Cornyn of Texas. He and Schumer said they are agreed on most aspects of what needs to be done. Cornyn is a constantly frustrating figure. His immigration grade is pretty good because the citizens of Texas pound him before every vote and generally get him to do the right thing. But in between he gives all sorts of comfort to the enemies of American workers and communities.
What every Senator needs to hear is that it would be politically stupid and morally bankrupt for the Senate to even consider giving permanent work permits to 8 million illegal foreign workers this year while 13 million jobless American workers would like to have their jobs.
Schumer named his hearing: "Comprehensive Immigration Reform in 2009, Can We Do It and How?"
It revealed that he has no interest in whether it would be a good idea or what the effects would be. No, the title says that Schumer sees this as just another of his political conquests. Huge special interests want this amnesty and Schumer is going to find out how he can pass it.
Unfortunately, logic and compassion and knowledge can have no effect on politicians like Schumer on this subject. The only thing that can pull them off their path is a firestorm of political reaction.
Before the weekend, light some fire.
In addition to your own U.S. Senators, know that the following Members of the Judiciary Committee especially need to hear from you. They will be deciding whether an amnesty comes to a vote.

Thank you for this link LawEnforcer.
Senator Sellouts out in force as usual, choosing foreign workers over the citizens who voted them in to office and who they are supposed to represent. It doesn't escape me however, that lobbying efforts by pro open borders and fraud at the ballot box assists these Congress people.
Luke 24:46,47Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

charge them with Nonfeasance for refusing to enforce the law
Everyone of those refusing to enforce the law should be charged with Nonfeasance of office, the refusal to do that which should be done. It is time to bring legal charges against non-performing officials from the President on down, they were hired to do enforce our laws and protect U.S. Citizens yet they work to protect Non-Citizens who have broken multiple laws to get here and MUST break the law to stay, why are they not being prosecuted?
Ours laws are supposed to be enforced EQUALLY, anytime the government PROTECTS lawbreakers by refusing to enforce laws they create a 'Special Class of People' who are ABOVE the law! Un-equal protection for non-citizens defeats the Civil Rights marches of the 60's and 70's that rightfully demanded EQUAL PROTECTION for ALL CITIZENS. Just in case you don't realize it equal protection REQUIRES equal prosecution of the law for ALL PEOPLE, including Citizens.
How do we file charges?Nonfeasance of office, the refusal to do that which should be done. Officials do not enforce the law, grounds for dismissal and prosecution for refusing to do what they were hired to do!

Greenspan says illegal immigration is good for business. Yes, its good for buisenesses who profit from cheap labor and bringing down wages.
Greenspan is a joke! This man is the one who gave Wall Street easy money, licored them up, and investors went on a lending spree.

I have called my state Congressional representatives and will contact other members. We have many Americans out of work, now needing two part times jobs or any job that too many illegal aliens occupy. They must start helping the American people to have quality lives and financial security and stop bowing to foreign governments and the Chamber of Commerce.
