TAKE ACTION TODAY to stop Sen Specter's Amnesty Bill!

    From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA
    Date: Sunday 26FEB06 11:30 p.m. EST

Sen. Specter this week will push giant amnesty & immigration doubling through
    his committee

    PLEASE START PHONING THE MEMBERS
    OF THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE
    AFTER 8 A.M. MONDAY (EST)

(See phone numbers and instructions below.)

And call all day Monday to let them know that the immigration bill they are
considering is an absolute joke -- a cruel, sadistic joke.

As the weekend began, the chairman, Sen. Specter (R-PA), unveiled the bill
that will be the vehicle for the Senate's answer to the tough enforcement-only
bill passed by the House in December.

Although first media reports said Specter was taking the middle ground between
the open-borders types (like Sen. McCain and Sen. Kennedy) and the enforcement
types, it is possible that Specter's bill is even worse than the
    McCain/Kennedy open-borders bill.

Your NumbersUSA Capitol Hill Team members were at their desks all weekend
analyzing the hundreds of pages of the bill to get a clear assessment of what
it would do. We will provide the results when they are finished sometime
    tomorrow.

It appears that the Specter bill that the Judiciary Committee will begin
debating on Thursday (and which Majority Leader Frist has said may come to the
Senate floor for a final vote on March 27) would:

    * Grant amnesty to nearly all the 12-20 million illegal aliens in the country

    * Open up every job in America to competition from unlimited numbers of
    foreign guest workers each year.

    * Eliminate math and science professions as jobs for American students to
pursue because it provides for an unlimited number of foreign math and science
students to permanently take U.S. jobs each year.

    * Almost double the numbers of foreign workers and their families who get
permanent residency each year, adding nearly a million a year to our already
    over-congested communities.

Those are preliminary readings of the bill. Be sure to look for our final
analysis later Monday at our website:

    www.NumbersUSA.com

We will be sending you additional faxes to send and phone call messages to
offer at later times on Monday and Tuesday.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT SENATE OFFICES BE INUNDATED WITH PHONE CALLS AS STAFFERS
ARRIVE MONDAY -- AND THROUGHOUT THE DAY

We must let these Senators know that the Specter bill is so outrageous that we
can't imagine any Senator even giving it a second glance. It should be
dismissed outright, and Specter be asked to come back later with a serious
    bill.

Below are all the Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Please
concentrate on calling their DC offices, but you may also want to call home
office numbers that are local for you.

1st Priority: Call Senators from your home state or from states for which you
    can claim a special relationship.

2nd Priority: Call Senators with whom you otherwise share a great connection
based on political ideology, ethnicity, religion, alma mater, or agreement on
some other issue. Start your phone call by stressing some agreement or
congenial identity and then express your concern about what the Senator may do
    with the Specter bill.

Remember, you will not be talking to the Senator or to a top staffer. Just ask
for the Senator's Judiciary or immigration staffer. If the receptionist asks
to take your comment, go ahead and give it.

Your point of calling Monday is for the staffers to tell their bosses that the
public knows about the Specter plan and is outraged.

Have called already to Specter's office, this a-- is my Representative, and believe me I never voted for him. His aid only could say ah, ah, ah....I never gave her a chance to respond, I was so angry.

Will try to be nicer my next call, when I cool off. But believe me, he doesn't care what you think, he is an arrogant idiot.

Senator Specter is no better than Benedict Arnold, I call him Benedict Arlen. His bill is called NUSA? I guess that stands for Nuke the USA.

Also call the US Chamber of Commerce, they are the ones pushing this amnesty and more cheap labor:

    202-463-5522

They are simply criminals stealing from Americans.

I called Feinstens office, they said she is against any guest worker plan.

    Arlen Spector Fax

    Honorable Arlen Specter
    United States Senate
    By Fax: 1-202-224-9102

    Dear Senator Specter,
We are a nation of immigrants, but we are also a nation of laws. If we fail as a nation of laws, the rest doesn't make one bit of difference."
We live in a society based on the rule of Law. There is not a one of us that get's to pick and choose the laws we obey. You have every right in the world to believe that a law is wrong, and through our wonderful Constitution you have the right to try and change that law, legally, at the ballot box. If you fail to change it though, it still MUST be obeyed. Choose to drive without insurance, or to not pay taxes, you go to jail. You broke the LAW. If a person's first act in a country is to break that countries' law, what respect can we expect of the REST of our laws, on which this Constitutional Republic is founded.
Integrity is a gift one gives to yourself and you are the only person that can take it away from yourself. Bending any law or breaking any law that person has decided to live a life of not having Integrity. America was built by people whom wanted to live with Integrity in their life. Benjamin Franklin is the best example I believe we have of what made this country great.
Hey I am not against the Immigrant coming here I just wish we had a better way of getting this done. We should be following the laws of America. This is a dangerous precedent if we as Americans can start changing the law by just masses of our citizens and citizens from other countries decide to start breaking any Law they see fit.
However why is it now seen as America is the only answer the Latin Americas see for their people. Just to throw something out their, If they really cared for the people a country could say screen healthy, honest citizens for immigration to a job needed in America or Canada or really anywhere the need was. Have them sign up to become real citizens of the country/community they were headed to and become a true benefit and not a burden on the present population. Really my only true argument now is I can not see any good coming from the present situation we have now. These immigrants should be entering this country holding their heads high wanting to become Americans.
What the Latin countries have offered us is they have condemned their people to nightmarish journeys where they risk rape, forced prostitution, robbery, murder and being abandoned by their smugglers to die horrible deaths in the desert in order to escape their countries and illegally enter the United States. They have no plans of becoming Americans and speaking the English language. If you don’t believe this I suggest you make an effort to visit small California towns that have been taken over by Illegal Immigrants such as Maywood, CA. This is something I will never agree to and shall through my legal abilities provide by the Constitution of the United States of America put a stop to. I hope that you place HR4437 into law so we can once again have sovereign borders and have some respect for the rule of law in America.
We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works

It seems the bill Specter introduced is basically what King Geiorge IV wants. I think every Democrat on the committee will be against it, because it doesn't give Citizenship to the illegals/"guest workers". If we can get a couple of Republicans against it, it will die. Like DeWine, who is up for re-election, and Sessions, who has a high ABI rating.

Now they might try to amend it, but what amendment would make a majority happy? This will be very interesting
