Cannon Lying About his Amnesty Agenda Again!
Chris Cannon is up to his old tricks. He just released an ad showing a border fence that said "Cannon wants to replace catch and release' with catch and deport."' He told the Deseret News, "I have always been hard-core (on enforcement). My voting record is perfect on enforcement." Who is he joking?

He has voted time after time against laws that would end sanctuary cities, expedite removal of illegal aliens, and allow state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies work together in Enforcement.

Team America's candidate Jason Chaffetz (who we've raised over 25,000 dollars for) is standing strong against Cannon who he says "gets tough on immigration about two weeks before an election. That's it."

Jason is right, when we had Cannon on the ropes two years ago, he started telling the same story about how he was tough on illegal immigration and against amnesty. We ran this ad against him where we let the voters know that he supported nine amnesties and co-sponsored six. [You can download our old ad by clicking here.] As soon as he got re-elected, he co-sponsored another amnesty!

The primary is on Tuesday. Thanks to your help, Jason has a great chance to take down the King of Amnesty!

Latin American Countries Uniting to Undermine America's Laws.
In what they called a major departure from traditional diplomacy, the consulates of Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Uruguay announced the creation of the "Coalition of Latin American Consulates in New York" this past Tuesday.

"We are no longer just here to sign visas, but to help our communities integrate here while continuing their important role in the development of our countries." Translated into plain English, this means they want to protect illegal immigrants from enforcement, and encourage immigrants to maintain loyalty to their home countries.

According to the Associated Press, the coalition "hopes to present a more united front in the U.S. immigration debate" and that "Several consuls general said immigrant communities abroad have become increasingly powerful constituencies back home. [Foreign] governments are increasingly reaching out to their communities abroad, from allowing them to vote in local elections back home, to establishing cabinet positions in their governments to represent communities abroad."

Consulate offices used to be just for stamping tourist visas and helping visitors in a country who got robbed or lost their passports, not for undermining American law.

Open Borders Propaganda Breaks Up Families
Remember Elvira Arellano? She was the illegal alien who holed herself in a Methodist Church for a year to defy a deportation order. She was first deported in 1997. Days after, she broke into the country again. Two years later, she gave birth to a son named Saul who-due to birthright citizenship-is a U.S. citizen. She was arrested for Social Security Fraud in 2002 and released, and was not ordered to see a judge until 2006.

Arellano should have been a poster child for how our laws are not enforced. Instead she became a cause célèbre for open borders propagandists who chided our laws as immoral because they would break up families. Of course there was nothing stopping Arellano from bringing her son back to Mexico with her.

When she was finally deported (only after she snuck out of the Church,) her son came with her. Even though her family wasn't split up, she became president of a group called La Familia Latina Unida (United Latino Family) whose sole purpose is to give us sob stories about "breaking up families."

Well now she's getting separated from her son, but it's not because we have immigration laws. Instead, it's because she wants to use him as a piece of propaganda. She's staying in Mexico, and nine year old Saul is coming to the U.S. so he can appear at pro-amnesty rallies. Neither Arellano, nor any of the open borders folks care about children or families, they just use them for their agenda.

    La Esméralda, she is not.

Behind Closed Doors, McCain Promises Hispanics Amnesty
Maybe we're beating a dead horse, but just in case anyone still believes John McCain when he said, "I got the message" and will "secure the border first," this item should dispel that notion. Yesterday, McCain held a closed door meeting with Hispanic activists in Chicago where he promised "comprehensive immigration reform."

McCain assumed they all supported his agenda, but a patriotic Hispanic named Rosanna Pulido spilled the pinto beans, and exposed McCain's pandering. Not only was he calling for amnesty, but he was also kissing up to the Reconquistas, "I bet some of you don't know this -- did you know Spanish was spoken in Arizona before English?"

Pulido says she's outraged "that he would reach out to me as a Hispanic but not as a conservative."

    ********
I don't understand what McCain was trying to prove with his Spanish comment above.

To me, McCain's Spanish statement above is like saying the following:

"Did you know that Dutch was spoken in New York before English?"

    Or,

"Did you know that French was spoken first in many places in the midwest---remember the Louisana Purchase from France and the correct way to say "Detroit"-----before English?"

Again, I don't understand why McCain would bring up his statement about Spanish above, unless he was just trying to kiss up to Hispanic voters.

Note: Can you imagine the uproar if McCain said something like this in Miami:

"Did you know that English and Jewish Yiddish was spoken in Miami before Spanish?"
