President Obama recently hosted an immigration summit meeting to build support for his amnesty proposal, or, as he puts it, a "pathway to citizenship." While the conference included a few supporters of immigration enforcement in order to provide the appearance of balance, it overwhelmingly consisted of those who have supported various forms of amnesty.

This is especially shocking since there are over 14 million unemployed American workers. Congress should be looking for ways to reduce immigration, not providing amnesty to at least 8 million illegal alien workers who have broken our laws.

I think CAPS is a great group, but all the Senators and members of Congress are back home in their districts for the July 4 break and not in DC.

Tell them that they have no obligation to be swayed when foreign citizens call them---as many are doing at the direction of LaRaza, LULAC, DREAMActivist.org. Our government belongs to the citizens of this country---not another country's.
