Subject: TnRIP ALERT for May 1, 2006

www.TnRIP.org

Dear TnRIP Members,

First off: Thank you to all our new members who have signed up for our email list over the past couple of weeks!!! Our action network has almost doubled which will allow us to have an even greater impact with our calls, visits, faxes and emails to our elected leaders!! Without each and every one of you, our efforts would be fruitless!!!

I apologize for the length of this Alert but there is much happening right now that you need to be aware of. The first section of this message below addresses tomorrow’s May Day (yes…it’s a Communist holiday) rallies and boycotts and the second part addresses the bill moving before the Tennessee legislature regarding drivers license examination testing. Both sections request your kind and dedicated assistance and I thank you in advance for your efforts.

PART 1: May 1, 2006 Rallies and Boycotts:

As most of you know by now, the open-borders and pro-illegals lobby are planning massive boycotts and rallies across the Nation tomorrow to put pressure on OUR elected officials to grant them a blanket amnesty. We must NOT let this happen if we hope to ensure that we pass along our Great Nation to our children and grand-children!! Our Country is being Balkanized right before our very eyes but, thanks to efforts such as yours all across the County, our side is finally having an impact on legislators both at the state and federal levels. In response to tomorrow’s “A day without (illegal) immigrants” marches and boycotts, groups such as our own all across the Nation are advocating that American Citizens and Legal Immigrants do their own shopping to off-set any possible impact felt by these boycotts. We are also asking that our members stay clear of any rallies taking place across Tennessee tomorrow as we have received information that many of these illegal protestors are going to make attempts at inciting violence. We need for tomorrow’s rallies to have the same negative impact as the protests did which occurred over the past few weeks by giving the news nothing negative to report from our side as we would be certain to be labeled as the instigators of any violence that may begin. We have NO wish to see any more American Citizens or Legal Immigrants harmed by these lawless invaders as has happened at past rallies, but not been reported by the media, in several other states

In lieu of attempting to counter-protest tomorrow’s rallies, we ask that you make note of any businesses which are closed or running on VERY short shifts because their illegal employees have boycotted working then, send that information to us so that we may list those traitorous companies on the website for all to see (please include both company name and company address to ensure that we don’t inadvertently label the wrong business. We’ve already started the list, which may be accessed from the top, center of our homepage or from our Alert page.

PART 2: PLEASE SUPPORT HB-0242

Rep. Mike Dubois's bill, HB0242, which requires that all written driver license examinations be given in English, will appear soon before the Budget Subcommittee of the Tennessee House of Representative's Finance, Ways and Means Committee. Please call and e-mail the members of the Budget Subcommittee listed below and tell them that you support HB0242 and that you want written driver licenses examinations given in English, the language of our street signs, and that you do not want these examinations to be given in foreign languages as they are being given now. The Senate companion to this bill has already passed the Tennessee Senate. The most likely place for opponents of HB0242 to kill it will be in Budget Subcommittee.
