Dear TnRIP Members,

Tonight, Sunday, June 18, 2006, at 7 p.m. central time, the National Geographic Channel will air a one-hour show regarding the MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha) gang which originated in El Salvador and Honduras and was labeled by Newsweek as "The most dangerous gang in America. Here in middle Tennessee, this gang operates mainly in the Madison area and in the area of south Nashville off Murfreesboro Road. See a map showing their areas of operation here.

Also, don't forget about the 21st Century Paul Revere Ride!! I will be coming through Nashville on Sunday, July 16. They will be holding a rally at Capital Hill/Legislative Plaza from 11:00 a.m. until approximately noon. We hope that everyone will come out to hear the speeches and cheer them on to Washington D.C. - tell two friends and bring the family!!
