Today is the Day - Call to Support the Child Citizen Protection Act

Today is the day that groups from the American Friends Service Committee and Families for Freedom will be traveling to DC along with affected family members to lobby for the Child Citizen Protection Act.

Remember to call your congressman today and ask him to co-sponsor this bill because it is important that we do everything that we can to keep families together.

After you have called please email kathy-wargo@comcast.net with the name of your congressman and any feedback.

Thank you so much for taking the time to speak up for family unity.

You may want to call and voice your opposition ...

What exactly is this bill? Is Child Citizen Protection Act a warm and fuzzy way of saying "give the illegal anchor baby spawn citizenship?"

I need to know before I act, and I don't care how cold and cruel people think I am.

By definition of the 14th Amendment anchor babies are not granted citizenship, and any efforts to thwart the intent of the 14th Amendment must be considered treason.

This bill, introduced by Rep. Jose Serrano, (need I say more) would give immigration judges more leeway to NOT deport illegal aliens who happen to be parents of anchor baby US citizens. It's another giveaway. Please call against it.

Child Citizen Protection Act would give leeway on deportations

By Patrick McGee | The Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Gloria Gonzalez-Garcia's family was torn in two Dec. 2.

Her husband, Jose Alfredo Garcia, was arrested by Mineral Wells police, and his status as an illegal immigrant quickly got him a one-way ticket to Mexico. He was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and deported the next day.

It didn’t matter that he had been paying taxes, buying a house or taking care of his daughters, who are American citizens because they were born in the U.S.

"The little ones don't understand, and they don't know what happened. They don't know why their dad has to be in Mexico," Gonzalez-Garcia said at her Fort Worth home.

Garcia's abrupt deportation is an example of how tens of thousands of parents are separated from their children when immigration law catches up with them.

A report released this month by the Homeland Security Department's Office of Inspector General found that more than 108,000 parents of U.S.-born children were deported between 1998 and 2007.

U.S. Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y., asked for the study and is using its findings to push his bill, the Child Citizen Protection Act, which would allow immigration judges to use discretion and halt the deportation of a parent of a child who is a U.S. citizen.

Serrano said that parents often have no choice but to take their U.S.-born children with them when they are deported.

"By virtue of this action we have, in fact, deported or forced out of the country American citizens," he said.

Serrano said that parents often have no choice but to take their U.S.-born children with them when they are deported.

Are often left no choice? How about, they never have any choice?

In case these people have forgotten......or their superior family values make them incapable of understanding how things are done in civilized societies.....parents of minor children are completely responsible for taking care of their minor children until that child reaches the age of 18.

Any failure to do so.....including leaving them behind in the event of deportation......is abandonment and/or neglect. Both punishable by law.

"By virtue of this action we have, in fact, deported or forced out of the country American citizens," he said.

"Citizens" my ass........that's THEIR interpretation of it.

But either way....again, it is the parents' responsibility to care for their own children until that child is 18 years of age and can then decide where to live.

When is the door going to be slammed shut on the blatant exploitation of innocent children by their parasitic, criminal parents?

THAT'S what needs to be stopped.

Stop 501c3 and don't attend the church.

    1. Any church or religous organization that advocates for illegals must lose their 501c3 status, as they have church vs state violations.
    2. All Americans attending churchs that support illegals must give the church warning that they don't support illegals, if the church supports them anyway, leave the church. Let the illegals pay the church.

My Rep is one of the first, usually, who steps up to co-sponsor bills favorable to aliens---so I always question whether to even try with him. And I even send tons of news stories about the horrific situation on the border---but it doesn't seem to matter. I do get a standard email response.

I need to figure out a better use of my time than flogging a dead horse. My senior US Senator always says that he is a strong supporter of border security. But apparently he is oblivious to the fact that the bills he supports effectively undermine our immigration system, no matter how they are depicted by their authors. This was the bottom line with the Comprehensive Reform Bills. They seemed to have provisions for enforcement---but in reality had more holes than Swiss cheese.

These days you have to wonder how many bills, lengthy as they are, are actually understood by the Congressmen. Or are they going along with a biased wonk's summary, or the official Party line?

I haven't even got one of those. My very first correspondence with her was very negative to her. Must have made her 'Black List' I guess.

Oh, boo friggin hoo!! They were born to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who broke into this country and most likely stole the identity of American citizens in order to gain employment. Their children are minors with no real adult privileges, like being able to start a bank acct, buy a house, have a credit card and in most cases, can't have a DL because of age, or even buy insurance. How about serving on a jury? Nope! Send them back as well. Then they can grill their parents as to why they broke our laws. These kids can always come back when they are adults. My kids would certainly grill me if I broke a law and the incarceration as a consequence to that behavior infringed on their well being. This incarceration would be equal to the deportation of an ILLEGAL ALIEN parent. I would have done the same to my parents. But oh no, we must not treat the ILLEGAL ALIENS that way. I hate double standards.

You need to protest her office, calling her a racist. Here is the proof she is racist again non-Latinos: http://www.immigrantrightsfoundation.or ... nesty.html

It would be even better if you got some legal immigrants to protest with you.
