Please attend a town hall meeting with Congressman Jared Polis this Saturday morning. Why? To bring to the forefront the fact that Obamacare will give taxpayer-subsidized coverage to illegal aliens.

Polis hasn't a clue. See Stan Weekes' report below.

Where:

Rancho Liborio Grocery Store, 850 East 88th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80229

This is on 88th Ave, just East of Washington.

Saturday, September 5th, 10:00 - 11:30 AM

How to get there: take I25 to Thronton Pkwy or to 84th Ave. Then go East to Washington. Then take Washington a few blocks to 88th Ave. Then go East a half block. See this map.

You will not be alone - other folks are also attending in order to address the issue of free health care for illegal aliens. Please do attend - it is important to establish a strong presence on this issue and to inform our elected public servant, Jared Polis, of the facts.

From Stan Weekes, September 3:
Tonight I attended the 'Congress on Your Corner' event held at the Lafayette VFW and hosted by Rep Polis. Perhaps 200-300 folks packed the hall and peppered him with a wide range of questions and considerations, all most all concerning health care.

He appears very knowledgeable on the subject, was fluid in his reply, and did a full hour and a half stand up. He had only one mic, with lots of chatter from the crowd.

He is in total denial concerning the question of presumptive eligibility of illegal aliens under HR 3200. Repeatedly he claimed 'undocumented' would not be involved, that would come with immigration reform [amnesty]. Time and time again he mis-informed, with almost no questions directed to the subject.

Fortunately, I waited patiently and put a stinger on him at the very last moment; being picked for the last comment and totally blindsiding him.

I called it the first part of amnesty, referenced the markups and two committees' rejections of biometric validation of identification requirements--as Medicare/Medicaid mandates. I asked that he and Obama stop misleading the public about the question of illegal aliens, citing the recent CRS health care report. The vast majority of the audience booed his answer and denial.

He then threw his hands up in the air, declaring his unequivocal support for 'amnesty'.
That brought the house down in a chorus of jeers, and ended the meeting.

Hope to see you at Rancho Liboro. It may be in the parking lot, or the Grocery store complex may have inside space. I called; he will be there in person. If you want to do signs on 88th and Washington, bring your own sign.

Even a dozen of us distributed in the crowd could really raise hell.

You just can't have too much fun.

Stan

(Note: signs are great and get the attention of the media and Polis. Use big letters, few words. We suggest the focus of taxpayer-subsidized health care for illegal aliens.)

From a recent FAIR press release: on August 26, the Congressional Research Service (CRS), the "research arm" for the United States Congress, issued a report validating an analysis by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), that illegal aliens would be able to receive benefits under the House health care reform bill, America's Affordable Health Care Act of 2009 (H.R. 3200).

The report, Treatment of Noncitizens in H.R. 3200, issued Tuesday, states definitively, "H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitizens - whether legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently - participating in the Exchange." H.R. 3200 establishes a Health Insurance Exchange which would provide individuals and small businesses with access to health care plans, including the "public option" to be managed by the government.

CRS also confirms FAIR's assessment that the House bill does not include a mechanism to prevent illegal aliens from receiving "affordability credits" that would subsidize the purchase of private health insurance. CRS specifically noted the absence "of a provision in the bill specifying the verification procedure," Because the language is ambiguous, all CRS could reasonably conclude is that any eligibility determination would be the responsibility of the Health Choices Commissioner.

"Case closed. Illegal aliens will be eligible to participate in the health care program offered by the House bill unless Congress acts to amend the bill," stated Dan Stein, president of FAIR. "In fact, according to CRS's analysis, the loopholes in the House bill are so gaping that Mexican and Canadian citizens could participate in the proposed health insurance Exchange."

The CRS analysis comes after weeks of denials by Members of Congress and the mainstream media that illegal aliens could receive benefits under the House bill. These denials were echoed by countless media and health care "experts" who dismissed public concerns as myths, or as politically orchestrated attacks.

"Case closed. Illegal aliens will be eligible to participate in the health care program offered by the House bill unless Congress acts to amend the bill," stated Dan Stein, president of FAIR. "In fact, according to CRS's analysis, the loopholes in the House bill are so gaping that Mexican and Canadian citizens could participate in the proposed health insurance Exchange.

"The loopholes and omissions in the House bill are not there by accident," continued Stein. "These loopholes were deliberate and intended to extend benefits to illegal aliens, while allowing Members of Congress to deny those facts to the American people."

Talking point #2:

The House Ways & Means Committee had the opportunity to include language that would have barred illegal aliens from enrolling in the proposed public option or receiving the affordability credits, but chose not to. An amendment offered by Rep. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) would have applied the same eligibility verification procedures for coverage under H.R. 3200 that have been used for years to prove eligibility for Medicaid. That amendment was rejected by a party-line vote.

House committee votes against preventing health care benefits to illegals
Rep. Nathan Deal (R-Ga.) offered an amendment to the House Energy and Commerce Committee on July 30 morning that would explicitly prohibit illegal aliens from receiving health care benefits under the health care reform bill (H.R. 3200). The amendment was narrowly defeated 28-to-29 after two Blue Dog Democrats on the committee voted against the amendment...

Health care for illegal aliens is the first part of amnesty. Markups of the House Bill 3200 and two committees' rejections of biometric validation of identification requirements for Medicare and show the true intent of Obamacare.
